Chapter 335: Chapter 335: It’s Not Your Turn to Act Recklessly in the Walyon Family
Gina Sutton had made such an effort to please, but never expected to get nothing in return.
Back at the dining table, she angrily swept all the desserts onto the floor.
With a loud crash, the disturbance in the garden was considerable.
The entire table of food, imported fruits, and the desserts meticulously prepared by the servants at the Old Master’s request, all fell to the ground.
Still feeling unsatisfied, Gina picked up a crystal jug from the table, intending to smash it on the ground as well.
Her hand was already raised when she froze upon glimpsing two figures not far away.
In a corner of the garden, the Old Master of the Walyon Family and Summer Sutton stood under a magnolia tree, quietly watching her.
Gina stared at them in shock, her face turning ashen.
She had no idea when the Old Master had arrived.
She didn’t know how much he had seen either.
The image that Gina had painstakingly built in front of everyone was of a sweet and gentle girl.
The fact that the Old Master agreed to her engagement with Ryan Walyon was likely due in part to her docile nature.
How many of the older generation would prefer a brash and domineering granddaughter-in-law?
But now, the scene she made had been caught by the Old Master. Did all the image-building go to waste?
Gina was so frightened that she stood there numbly, staring at the Old Master for a long time, not knowing how to explain, and could only crouch down in a panic to pick up the mess on the ground.
After picking up all the broken items, she uneasily approached the Old Master to admit her mistake, "Grandfather, you know that a pregnant woman’s emotions are a bit unstable, and since becoming pregnant, I even dislike my own temper."
She attributed all the reasons to her pregnancy.
Only during pregnancy was it like this; normally, she wouldn’t be.
The Old Master said nothing, only stared at her with a blank expression for a while, then turned and went inside.
"Grandfather! I was wrong. I will control myself in the future." Gina hurried to explain.
The Old Master continued walking without turning his head.
Whether he believed her words or not, Gina did not know.
But she was certain that her image in the Old Master’s eyes had surely been diminished after today.
She was not yet formally part of the Walyon Family, and she feared she would have to be even more cautious in the future.
If even the Old Master was displeased with her, joining the Walyon Family would be impossible!
Summer Sutton still stood beside, having witnessed the whole scene with an indifferent expression.
Gina turned her head, catching sight of her, and her expression immediately turned cold, "Did you bring Grandfather here?"
"So what if I did?" Summer Sutton did not deny it.
"Summer Sutton!" Gina was furious, raising her hand intending to strike her.
Summer Sutton did not try to stop her, only casually reminded, "Second Young Miss Sutton, shouldn’t you mind your image? You’ve already wrecked your goody-two-shoes image, and if the family sees you hitting someone, what do you think Grandfather will think?"
Gina’s raised hand froze in midair, stubbornly forced back down.
Summer Sutton’s words were infuriating, but not incorrect.
Grinding her teeth in hatred, Gina withdrew her hand.
Such a gesture made Summer Sutton smile coldly.
"This is the Walyon Family! You’re not in a position to cause trouble!" She reminded with a blank expression.
"Don’t be so smug, your position might not be secure! Summer Sutton, I’m telling you, one day I will chase you out of this house!"
Gina did not bother hiding anything from her, since Summer Sutton had seen every side of her anyway.
