Chapter 334: Chapter 334: If you want to ask me out, actually you can just say so
Summer Sutton spent quite a bit of time washing up in the bathroom.
When she first went in, she felt an indescribable sense of loss.
But after staying inside for a while, washing her face, she suddenly calmed down.
She knew better than anyone why she married Adrian Walyon.
There’s no need to have high expectations for this marriage.
Feeling much more at ease, she washed her face and came out as if nothing had happened.
She intended to let this matter pass, and do what she needed to do tomorrow.
As she was about to sleep at around eleven, Adrian suddenly remarked, "Actually, if Mrs. Walyon wants to ask me out, she can just say it."
Summer Sutton was taken aback by his comment, looking at him with some surprise.
Adrian Walyon’s handsome face leaned toward her, his fingers pinching her delicate chin, and he slowly said, "No need to beat around the bush, just hint at it. As long as Mrs. Walyon speaks up, no matter how busy I am, I’ll definitely make time for you."
Summer Sutton was stunned by his words for a while, then glared at him, pushing his hand away, "It’s nothing like that. Go ahead with your busy day tomorrow!"
"Is that so? Then let’s sleep!" Adrian didn’t dwell on the topic, lying back in his place and closing his eyes.
When he said sleep, Summer Sutton really turned her head and went to sleep, without another word.
Adrian turned his head to glance at her, the corners of his mouth twitching slightly.
The next day, when Summer Sutton woke up, Adrian was already gone.
He seemed really busy, having gone to work.
Summer didn’t mind, and after breakfast, the driver took her to Ariella Sawyer’s office.
While working, she thought about her exam results.
So many subjects she failed. If it weren’t because of Adrian Walyon’s connections, she feared she wouldn’t even be able to get her diploma!
After a busy day at the studio, when she returned home at seven PM, Adrian was apparently working overtime and hadn’t come back yet.
Gina Sutton sat on a side terrace in the garden, savoring fruits specially air-freighted from abroad by the family.
Probably because the child in her belly was the Walyon Family’s first little master, the Walyons treated her exceptionally well.
Everything she ate, used, and wore was the very best available.
The ingredients for her daily meals were flown in from abroad every day.
Standing not far away, Summer Sutton watched her quietly, seemingly lost in thought.
Just then, Ryan Walyon came home.
As he passed by Gina, she warmly called out to him, "Jimmy!"
Ryan Walyon’s steps halted, and he turned to look at her.
Ever since Gina had entered this house, he had never looked at her directly.
His sudden glance left Gina feeling flattered and thrilled.
A smile spread across her face, and she stood up to walk towards him, attempting to affectionately link her arm with his. Ryan glanced indifferently at her raised hand and coldly said, "What did you just call me?"
Gina was dumbfounded, her raised hand frozen in place.
"That name isn’t for you to use. Miss Sutton and I aren’t that familiar," he said coolly, before striding onward.
Gina stood there rigidly, seemingly unable to recover for quite some time.
Did he just ignore her kindness like that?
How was she any worse than Summer Sutton?
How many men are there that she would voluntarily try to please?
