Chapter 336: Chapter 336: Going Out for Couple’s Day

Summer Sutton’s expression froze on her face.

Her cool eyes stared fixedly at Gina, with no ripple in her gaze at all, "Whether I’m part of this family or not, it doesn’t matter to me. Unlike you, Second Young Miss Sutton, who’s trying every possible way to squeeze in."

After a brief pause, her look suddenly sharpened, "So, I’m warning you, don’t continue provoking me! If you cross me, I’ll make sure you leave this house before I do!"

Her words were fierce, and Gina Sutton had seen Summer Sutton’s way of doing things before.

Her mind was sharp; if she wanted to scheme against someone, Gina might not be a match for her.

Moreover, she had Adrian Walyon as such a strong pillar behind her.

With Adrian supporting her, whatever she wants to do, she can probably do it without any restriction.

Gina Sutton’s face turned deathly pale.

She stared blankly at Summer, truly a bit scared by her.

Summer Sutton’s counterattack today was something she hadn’t anticipated at all, not even a bit.

She wondered if Summer would do anything else, and Gina was anxious.

Summer didn’t pay much attention to her, turned and went indoors.

By this point, it was almost eight o’clock.

Adrian Walyon wasn’t back yet.

Was he really working overtime?

Summer Sutton suddenly became curious about what he was doing.

She picked up her phone, intending to call him and ask when he would be home.

But, afraid of interrupting his work, she held the phone for a long time before putting it down again.

Waiting quietly at home for a while, Adrian returned at half past nine.

"Young Master is back!" came the voice of a servant greeting from the garden.

Summer’s gaze followed out into the garden, and when she saw him emerging in the night, she was momentarily stunned.

He hadn’t called to say when he’d arrive, and Summer had thought she’d have to wait a few more hours at least.

"Have you had dinner?" Adrian walked into the house briskly, heading straight toward her.

Summer shook her head.

The family had actually had dinner much earlier; she’d been waiting to have dinner with him instead of eating with the family.

Adrian seemed to have expected this, and grabbing her hand, he headed out the door, "Come on, let’s go eat!"

By this time, the Old Master was about to go to bed.

Seeing the couple preparing to head out, he casually asked, "So late, where are you going?"

"Celebrating our marriage festival, why? Grandpa, are you even going to interfere with this?" Adrian glanced sideways, a hint of sarcasm in his tone.

Marriage festival? What’s that?

No matter what festival it is, if he celebrates it, does it always turn into a marriage festival?

Summer was speechless at his words.

The Old Master, as an elder, always valued family harmony.

As long as Adrian and Summer lived in the home and weren’t invisible for months, the Old Master generally didn’t care about their daily lives.

"Just go already! Your presence here will raise my blood pressure." He waved them off, signaling for them to hurry and leave his sight.

"Then, Grandpa, just meddle less in the future." Adrian didn’t pay much attention to him, leaving that remark behind as he pulled Summer swiftly out of the villa.

Tonight in Northtown, the entire city was filled with the scent of roses.

While walking down the street, everywhere you could see boys and girls shouting out to sell roses.

Adrian took Summer to a lakeside restaurant.

The restaurant was located at the center of the lake, with a long wooden bridge extending from the lakeshore straight to the restaurant, surrounded by starlight on the water’s surface.

Summer followed Adrian along the long wooden bridge, looking at him in front of her, and her lips curved slightly.
