Director Liu stared at her hatefully.
If looks could kill, Shen Qingqing had no doubt he would have wanted to murder her.
Director Liu took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and then opened them again. All emotion had faded, and he even managed a smile. "Fine, I'll arrange it for you, right now."
"Now?"
The other party's sudden agreement made Shen Qingqing a little uncomfortable. Was he planning something tricky again?
But Director Liu did nothing of the sort. He immediately arranged for someone to put on a protective suit for her and led her into the ward.
Inside the ward, there was a glass enclosure. Lying within was a person, connected to various tubes.
It was Fu Tingsheng.
"How is he now?"
"His vital signs are stable, but the virus will take some time to resolve. It needs a period."
Director Liu's voice rang out.
Shen Qingqing glanced at him, remembering that this man never spoke the truth. Why was she asking him anything?
After observing for about two minutes, Director Liu began to urge her, "Let's go out now. The patient needs rest."
Shen Qingqing took another look at Fu Tingsheng. She didn't insist; after all, there would be a second time if there was a first. Director Liu couldn't stop her anymore.
As soon as the two left the ward, Director Liu immediately shut the door. "Miss Shen, you've seen him. Can you rest assured now?"
Shen Qingqing raised an eyebrow. "More or less."
Director Liu suppressed his annoyance and spoke earnestly, "Since you've seen him, hand over his treatment to me from now on and don't come looking for me again. Your actions are affecting me, and ultimately, they will affect your family!"
Was this a threat?
Shen Qingqing calmly said, "Director, I actually think you should be worried about something else right now."
"What do you mean?"

Director Liu said coldly, "Are you threatening me?"

Director Liu stared at her and suddenly smiled. "Thank you for the reminder. Don't worry, even during the evaluation, I will not slacken in the treatment of your father. After all, I am a doctor, and he is my responsibility."
"That would be best."
Shen Qingqing also smiled brilliantly.
Director Liu's tone shifted. "Someone trespassed into the ward earlier. I had my staff conduct a thorough search, but no abnormalities were found. However, to ensure your father's safety, I will still have people watching him. If anyone approaches again, I will transfer him to prevent anyone from harming him."
Shen Qingqing inwardly sneered. "Then I'll have to trouble you."
"No trouble, it's my duty."
Shen Qingqing, with her hands behind her back, said lightly, "Speaking of which, I almost forgot about something. I haven't seen Gao Jian's wife yet."
"How do you know Gao Jian?" Director Liu's expression changed slightly.

"You flatter me."

Director Liu eventually took her there. Gao Jian's wife's ward was not far from Fu Tingsheng's, only two rooms away. She was just like Fu Tingsheng.
Connected to tubes, unconscious.

Shen Qingqing stared at his retreating back with a cold smile, then turned and returned to her son and the old lady's ward.
As soon as she pushed the door open, she nearly collided with Fu Jingshu.
She instinctively raised her hand to support his shoulder. "Are you going out?"
Fu Jingshu took her hand, his brows furrowed with concern. "Why did it take so long to come back?"
Shen Qingqing followed him inside and closed the door casually. "I saw my father, and I also saw Gao Jian's wife."
"How is Father?" Fu Jingshu's expression didn't change much, but his eyes clearly held worry.
"He seems alright." From behind the glass, Shen Qingqing could only make a simple judgment. "However, I'm not entirely sure. But Director Liu's unhurried demeanor suggests he should be fine."
Fu Jingshu secretly breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good."

The other party might have poisoned Fu Tingsheng, but knowing her medical skills were excellent, they were afraid of her finding out, so they had Director Liu detain him.

"No, he needs to stay and help you."
Fu Jingshu usually had no choice but to comply with Shen Qingqing's decisions, so he did as she said.
