"How about this, I want to see if I can earn money myself first. If I really can't, then I'll use your money. Is that okay? It's not time for surgery yet, so you keep it for now."
Ye Wan appeased Sun Ma first. This was the money Sun Ma had saved through a lifetime of hard work, and no matter what, Ye Wan could not possibly use it.
Sun Ma knew Ye Wan's temper was stubborn. If Ye Wan didn't want her to, she couldn't do anything about it. She could only put away the savings book for now, reminding Ye Wan to tell her immediately if surgery money was needed.
Only when Ye Wan agreed did Sun Ma feel relieved.
The next day, Ye Wan went to Gu Yun Ting's company after school. She waited at the company until late but didn't see him. Disappointed, she returned to the Gu residence. Sun Ma, as usual, brought her noodles to eat.
Seeing Ye Wan's dejected look, Sun Ma found it amusing. "Young Master is back today."
Ye Wan suddenly looked up, "Really? He's back?"
"Yes, so don't be sad anymore. Eat your noodles and then go see Young Master," Sun Ma gestured for her to eat first.
"I won't eat yet, I need to see him first." Ye Wan turned to leave. At the doorway, she realized she was in pajamas and it wasn't appropriate, so she turned back to change.
However, before she could go upstairs, she was stopped by bodyguards who said Young Master had ordered no one to go to the second floor.
After Ye Wan returned, Sun Ma had asked her to eat noodles. Ye Wan had no appetite and ate listlessly. Sun Ma looked at her and said with a smile, "If you really want to stop Young Master from being angry, you should cook him something to appease him."
"He doesn't want to see me, I can't see him at all," Ye Wan said helplessly.
"It's up to you. Think of a way. If you really want to see him, you'll find a way," Sun Ma encouraged her.

The next day, Ye Wan cooked a bowl of noodles with an egg in her room, put it into a thermos, and then, while everyone was not paying attention, secretly climbed into Gu Yun Ting's car ahead of time.
Gu Yun Ting came out after breakfast. A bodyguard opened the car door for him, and he got in. He turned his head and saw the girl hunched over in the car. His expression turned very cold.
Ye Wan awkwardly stood up and sat on the seat, handing over the thermos in her hand. "I cooked you a bowl of noodles."
As soon as Ye Wan finished speaking, Gu Yun Ting snatched the thermos and threw it directly out the car window. The thermos hit the ground, its lid fell off, and its contents spilled everywhere.
"Get out!" Gu Yun Ting said coldly.
"I have something I want to tell you." Ye Wan had finally managed to see him and couldn't miss this opportunity.
The driver and bodyguard were so scared they dared not breathe, waiting for Gu Yun Ting's order. Finally, he ordered them to drive.
The car drove out of the Gu residence. Ye Wan gathered her courage, but she hesitated to speak. She had a premonition that if she spoke, he might get even angrier. But Sun Ma's situation couldn't be delayed any further.
"If you don't speak, then get out of the car!" Gu Yun Ting's tone was full of impatience, and his handsome face was devoid of any expression.
Ye Wan had no choice but to steel herself and say, "I know you're angry with me, and I'm willing to accept any punishment from you. But Sun Ma is innocent. She was managing the household perfectly well before, can you let her continue to be the housekeeper?"
Gu Yun Ting felt the rage in his chest intensify. He knew he shouldn't have any soft spot for her, because she only knew how to stab him in the heart!
She had gone to such lengths to see him just to plead for Sun Ma. She didn't care about his feelings at all, not even a little bit.
"Stop the car, get out!" Gu Yun Ting's hands were clenched into fists, and he turned to shout at her, his eyes bloodshot. He was afraid that if she didn't get out of the car soon, he would be unable to resist strangling her.
