Sun Ma finished speaking and closed the door for her. Ye Wan, "..."
She didn't want to deal with Gu Yunting at all right now!
Ye Wan turned and walked back. Gu Yunting had been staring at her the whole time. Ye Wan placed the medicine on the bedside table. "Take your medicine."
Just as she was about to turn back to her side of the bed, the man suddenly reached out and pulled her into his arms. They both fell onto the bed. Ye Wan instinctively bent her elbow to push against Gu Yunting's chest, and Gu Yunting let out a muffled groan in pain.
"Let go!" Ye Wan impatiently tried to pry his hands off. She knew she couldn't stop him from staying to sleep, but she didn't want him touching her!
"Sleep!" Gu Yunting said indifferently.
"Sun Ma told you to take your medicine," Ye Wan said, feeling annoyed.
"It's fine, I won't die," Gu Yunting raised his hand and turned off the light, showing no intention of taking the medicine.
Ye Wan pushed him twice but couldn't break free. She simply closed her eyes and slept. What did his taking medicine or not have to do with her?
In the middle of the night, Ye Wan woke up feeling hot. She was covered in sweat, which made her wound sting. When she opened her eyes, she realized that the man behind her had a scorching fever.
Did Gu Yunting have a fever again? She irritably wanted to push him away and then call someone to take care of him, but she still couldn't move him. Ye Wan was infuriated and called out a few times, "Gu Yunting, Gu Yunting!"
The man just held her tightly, showing no signs of waking up. Ye Wan became worried, afraid he might actually die.
She managed to get his phone and called Jin Lan, telling him about Gu Yunting's condition.
"Listen to me, give him some fever-reducing medicine first. If he's unconscious from the fever, he could damage his brain! Ye Wan, only you can save him now. Even if he did something to anger you, you wouldn't want him to become a fool for the rest of his life, would you?" Jin Lan rushed out of the hospital and headed towards Gu Residence.
After hanging up, Ye Wan tried to push the man away, but it was useless. She had to call Sun Ma to bring some fever-reducing medicine, saying Gu Yunting had a fever.
Sun Ma came with the housekeeper. The housekeeper frowned upon seeing the scene on the bed. "Ye Wan, come down first!"
"I wish I could get down! But Gu Yunting won't let go, so I can't do anything. Why don't you help me pry his hands open?" Ye Wan was also speechless. She thought Gu Yunting was sick, the same man who let a scumbag take her away, and now he was holding her tightly.
The housekeeper could only pour the fever-reducing medicine and hand it to Ye Wan. "Hurry and give it to the young master."
Ye Wan took it and said, "Gu Yunting, open your mouth and drink the medicine."
But the man's teeth were clenched shut, as if he could no longer hear anyone. Sun Ma and the housekeeper called out a few times, but Gu Yunting showed no reaction. Sun Ma was anxious, and the housekeeper was also worried, but they dared not force Gu Yunting to take the medicine.
Ye Wan frowned. Seeing Gu Yunting's condition was indeed quite bad, she rolled over to lie on top of him, grabbed his cheeks forcefully, and pried open his mouth. Ye Wan poured the medicine from her hand into his mouth.
Fortunately, Gu Yunting could still swallow. Ye Wan handed the cap to the housekeeper and said, "Pour a little more, some spilled."
The housekeeper immediately poured a little more for Ye Wan. Ye Wan, just like last time, pinched his mouth open and poured the medicine in.
