A few small restaurants were opposite the bus stop. Jun Li Chen asked Ye Wan what she wanted to eat. Ye Wan was fine with anything, so they chose a clay pot restaurant.
After sitting down, Jun Li Chen handed the documents to Ye Wan and said, "I was looking for a translator, and I just happened to meet you. Do you think this is fate?"
Ye Wan flipped through the documents. Jun Li Chen asked the waiter to take their order and asked her what she wanted to eat. Ye Wan said she was fine with anything and wasn't picky.
"How about it, do you have time to do it?" Jun Li Chen asked, looking at her.
"I don't have much going on lately, so I can do it." Ye Wan was just about to look for a new part-time job when work found her.
"That's great. The price is market rate. What do you think?" Jun Li Chen smiled with satisfaction.
"Sure, I should be thanking you. I'm looking for a part-time job right now."
"In that case, you can take the documents. Translate this part first, and I'll send you the rest later."
"Okay, no problem." Ye Wan nodded in agreement.
The food arrived, and they ate and chatted about the project. Jun Li Chen said he was partnering with a relative to open a company and that they were in the early investment stage, facing a lot of pressure, but he was confident they would succeed.
Ye Wan could only wish him success.
After dinner, the bus was gone, so Ye Wan had to take a taxi home.
After she left, a low-key black car stopped in front of him. Jun Li Chen opened the door and got in, and the car drove away.
Ye Wan was very diligent. She started translating as soon as she got home. With her laptop, her work efficiency had greatly improved. She no longer planned to look for other part-time jobs. She translated until almost eleven o'clock. The car lights outside flashed. Ye Wan looked up and saw Gu Yun Ting return. She saved the documents, closed her laptop, and got up to greet him.
To her surprise, Gu Yun Ting was not alone today. Lin Fei Wei, his fiancée, had returned with him.
Ye Wan looked at them awkwardly, unsure whether to leave or stay. Lin Fei Wei smiled sweetly and greeted her, "Ye Wan, long time no see."
"Mm," Ye Wan responded faintly and turned to leave.
Lin Fei Wei pouted and looked at Gu Yun Ting. Just as she was about to act cute, Gu Yun Ting said, "Arrange a guest room for Miss Lin."
The housekeeper immediately went to do so.
Lin Fei Wei quickly said, "A Ting, Auntie asked you to take good care of me!"
"Arrange the best guest room for her," Gu Yun Ting said. He then glanced at Ye Wan's retreating back and strode upstairs.
Lin Fei Wei stomped her foot in anger. Watching Gu Yun Ting disappear up the stairs, she turned and walked towards Ye Wan's room.
Last time, Ye Wan had deliberately revealed at the birthday party that she wasn't a daughter of the Lin family, which had caused her to be ridiculed recently. She hadn't settled the score with that bitch yet!
With a "bang," Ye Wan's door was kicked open. Ye Wan frowned and saw Lin Fei Wei swaggering in. "Ye Wan, why is your room so small? When I marry in and become the mistress of this house, I'll get you a bigger room. After all, you're my parents' biological daughter."
