Chapter 367 The Same Ring

"I'll be the mistress of this house soon. I can come and go as I please. What right do you have to order me around?" Lin Feiwei walked inside and saw a pink notebook on the table. She picked it up and threw it on the floor.

Ye Wan couldn't stop her. She quickly walked over, squatted down, and picked up the notebook to inspect it. Seeing that the casing was cracked, she said with a displeased expression, "Get out!"

"How do you have this ring?" Lin Feiwei, who had been smiling, suddenly grabbed Ye Wan's hand and pulled it over when she saw Ye Wan's hand.

Ye Wan frowned and looked at her. She saw Lin Feiwei raise her own hand and say, "A Ting gave me this ring. How do you have one too?"

Ye Wan's heart skipped a beat. She looked at Lin Feiwei's finger and saw a ring on her ring finger that was identical to the one Gu Yunting had given her.

"He's too much! He actually gave me a ring identical to yours! I wouldn't be caught dead wearing the same thing as a lowly person like you!" Lin Feiwei deliberately took off the ring on her finger in anger and threw it out the open window.

After throwing the ring, she glared fiercely at Ye Wan, bumped into the dazed girl, and strode out.

Ye Wan stumbled back a step from the impact, her brow furrowed. She looked down at the ring on her ring finger, a nameless ache welling up in her chest. She tried to take the ring off, but it seemed to have a magical hold, refusing to budge.

She put down the notebook and went into the bathroom to wash her hands with soapy water, hoping to remove the ring. It was still unsuccessful. Her finger swelled up like a carrot. Did she need to cut off her flesh and bone to remove this ring?

But the thought of Gu Yunting giving her and Lin Feiwei the same ring made her feel miserable. She didn't want to see this ring anymore!

Ye Wan had no mood to do anything else. She closed the door and lay back on the bed, tossing and turning, unable to sleep.

And the man who usually came to her room to sleep with her hadn't appeared until the middle of the night.

Ye Wan's mood worsened. Gu Yunting always held her when they slept. His body was warm, and she wouldn't feel cold. Now, alone, she was so cold she couldn't sleep. She finally drifted off into a hazy sleep just before dawn.

Sun Ma called her to wake up. Ye Wan woke up to see it was already nine o'clock. She was late for school. She immediately got up, washed up, changed, and rushed out.

As she approached the dining room, she heard Lin Feiwei's saccharine voice, "A Ting, try it. I made this myself."

Gu Yunting ignored Lin Feiwei. He looked up when he heard footsteps and saw Ye Wan standing there, not entering. As soon as she saw him, she turned to leave.

"Come back! Eat breakfast," Gu Yunting ordered.

"Sister, you're up! Come and have breakfast. Do you always wake up this late? I woke up at six o'clock to make a loving breakfast for A Ting," Lin Feiwei said coquettishly.

"I won't disturb you two. I don't want to be a third wheel." Ye Wan slung her schoolbag over her shoulder and turned to leave.

Gu Yunting wanted to call her back, but seeing her demeanor, she seemed angry. He frowned and said nothing.

Lin Feiwei said, "A Ting, why is Sister so angry this morning? Is she unhappy because I'm staying here?"

"I'm done eating. You eat slowly," Gu Yunting said, getting up and leaving the dining room.

"A Ting, I'll leave with you. I'm full too," Lin Feiwei got up and chased after Gu Yunting.
