"Still a zombie?" Ye Qiu looked at Wei Yang, his eyes full of surprise, and he wasn’t that scared anymore.
"Zombies have no humanity or reason." Wei Yang stood up, and after his eyes lost their red hue, he was indistinguishable from a normal person. He looked at Ye Qiu, his eyes filled with gratitude. "I guess this counts as evolution."
"Can you still command the zombies?"
"Yes."
Ye Qiu’s eyes flickered: "If you don’t mind, may I take some of your blood and cells for research?"
"As long as you don’t disclose it." Wei Yang looked at Ye Qiu, nodding in agreement, then his gaze shifted to the Golden Crow Egg, "Your pet is amazing, I am no match for it."
"It is indeed formidable." Ye Qiu patted the shell of the Golden Crow Egg, with no intention of explaining, and then put the Golden Crow Egg away into the space in front of him.
"I stole its fruit, do I need to do something to make it up to it?"
"If possible, I hope you can join us in fighting the Mutated Vine, as the fruit is the result of its secondary mutation."
"Mutated Vine?"
"Do you now know what controlled you to initiate the zombie tide?"
Wei Yang shook his head: "It felt miraculous, like my brain was not in control, but when that fruit appeared, my body’s instincts overcame it."
"Yangyang?" Not hearing any movement, Wang Shufen called cautiously again.

"I don’t think you have to worry too much, the Zombie King already has a very clear consciousness. Since he chose to abduct your sister instead of killing her outright, it means your sister is still useful to him," Captain Duan comforted her.
"How can I not worry? My sister has no means to protect herself," Ye Dong said loudly, "No, I have to find my sister."
"Ye Dong, calm down," Captain Duan grabbed her wrist.
Ye Dong broke free, her eyes red with anger: "I can’t calm down, she’s my sister, and she is in great danger now!"
"But you can’t beat him even if you find him," Captain Duan furrowed his eyebrows.
"I still have to try."
"Then I can only be straightforward." Captain Duan sighed softly, and gave Mingming a look on the side.
Though Mingming is young, he is a rare mental superpower user with high talent. Although Ye Dong’s superpower level is above his, her current emotional agitation and complete lack of defense were what allowed her to be caught off guard.
Duan Kai caught the limp-bodied Ye Dong and laid her down in the rest area, instructing Mingming to take good care of her.

In a specially made metal cage, two massive mutated animals lay motionless, their eyes filled with a venomous, hateful glow.
"I know you can understand me, submit or die?" Duan Kai looked at them coldly.
"Hiss!" The Big Snake hissed, flicking its tongue. Although it couldn’t move due to being injected with medicine, its vertical pupil told Duan Kai that submission was absolutely impossible.
The head of the Ice Wolf was caved in by the Zombie King, barely alive but still maintaining, yet even so, it could not lose the dignity of being the Wolf King.
"Very well." Duan Kai showed no signs of anger, as being so easily subdued would not befit a king, "Continue extracting their evil blood for the laboratory, just don’t kill them."
"Yes."
"Is the fruit from these plants?" Wei Yang walked to a strong Mutated Vine, its vines already spread out for four or five kilometers, countless zombies and mutated animals dead around it, but Wei Yang could easily destroy it.
"To be precise, it’s the fruit of the plant after a second mutation." Ye Qiu spoke while digging out golden soil from the cracks at the base of the Mutated Vine.
"This soil feels very strange to me." Wei Yang frowned.
As he spoke, he placed the green Crystal Core of the Mutated Vine on top of the golden soil and started incessantly inputting his own energy. In an instant, a small green sprout emerged from the interior of the green Crystal Core.
