Inside Fairy Tail’s makeshift headquarters, Mirajane, frying pan in hand, and Lisanna, sporting cat ears, stood back-to-back, their gazes fixed on the surrounding crowd with grim determination. More than thirty Grimoire Heart members lay defeated around them.
"Careful, Lisanna," Mirajane cautioned softly.
Lisanna nodded. "I know, don’t worry, Mirajane."
"Are they spread across the whole island? I’m worried about everyone," Juvia said from the side, having just single-handedly downed several Grimoire Heart members.
"We have to hold this position until everyone else returns!" Mirajane declared, her expression resolute.
Suddenly, the remaining Grimoire Heart members simultaneously turned their attention towards a single direction.
Footsteps could be heard approaching.
"Enemies encountered during combat are to be eliminated immediately."
A cold, emotionless voice cut through the air.
The Fairy Tail members followed the sound to its source. A small girl with pink hair, adorned with golden wing-like ornaments on her ears, and clad in a flowing red cloak, materialized before them. The wind whipped the cloak around her as she approached.
Meredy, one of the Seven Kin of Purgatory!
"Annihilation is the top priority. Commence combat," Meredy stated, her tone devoid of any emotion.
"A child?" Juvia expressed her surprise.
"Her magic feels... strange," Lisanna observed, her brow furrowed in concern.
Mirajane positioned herself in front of her companions, her expression serious.
"Everyone, be cautious. This one is definitely not to be underestimated!"

Deep within the silent forest, Ultear walked alone, her eyes constantly scanning her surroundings.
....
Ultear’s emotions were a tangled mess. The sporadic sounds of battle nearby gnawed at her already frayed nerves, fueling her growing anxiety. She couldn’t even articulate her own conflicting feelings.
Her dream was so close to realization. All she needed to do was find Zeref and travel to the Great Magic World. Hades had assured her that only in that world could her Lost Magic, Time Arc, reach its full potential. Once there, she could use Time Arc to travel back to a time when Ur was still alive, changing the course of her tragic past.
Yet, despite this imminent opportunity, Ultear found herself unable to muster even a flicker of genuine happiness.
"Is it because Fairy Tail is about to be destroyed?" she questioned herself softly, her voice barely a whisper.
Of all the members of Fairy Tail, Ultear felt the closest connection to Finn. He was the first person who had ever extended a hand to her, attempting to pull her from the suffocating grip of darkness.
"Come to Fairy Tail! I believe we wouldn’t refuse a hand to someone who, despite dwelling in darkness, still yearns for the light!"
His final words, coupled with the image of his radiant smile, still echoed vividly in her mind.
Then there was Gray, the man who had inherited the unwavering spirit of his mother. He was the living embodiment of Ur’s legacy, and the thought of him being destroyed was almost unbearable for Ultear to contemplate.
A profound sense of internal conflict surged within her heart. She turned her gaze towards the distant coastline, where a cataclysmic battle was unfolding. Ultear could even feel the intense heat radiating from the epicenter of the conflict.
"You won’t let Fairy Tail fall, will you?" she murmured, her voice barely audible above the distant roar of battle. "You won’t stop here, will you, Finn..."
"I’ve come this far, I must see it through to the end!"
With a resolute step, Ultear finally made her decision, her internal conflict resolved.
"Zeref..." she whispered, her voice filled with a newfound determination. "Wait for me!"
BOOM BOOM—!!
A series of deafening explosions ripped across the coastline, the earth trembling under the sheer force of the blasts. Flames and darkness raged across the landscape, consuming everything in their path. Magical energy surged through the air, reducing the surrounding forest to ash and boiling the coastal waters to a furious frenzy.
After another violent clash between Finn and Hades, both mages recoiled, their bodies battered and bruised. Hades, once composed and self-assured, was now a picture of disarray. His helmet lay shattered on the ground, his once pristine white beard completely singed away. His pale hair, already streaked with gray from age, was now wildly disheveled. His armor was in tatters, his cloak reduced to nothing but scorched remnants. Deep, blackened wounds marred his abdomen and arms, and his body trembled slightly from exhaustion and pain. His face was numb from the sheer force of Finn’s blows. If it weren’t for his secret weapon, Hades would undoubtedly have been defeated long ago.
In contrast, Finn, aside from some minor tears in his clothing and a few superficial wounds, appeared relatively unscathed. Even these minor injuries were the result of Hades’ underhanded tactics.
"This brat... how is it possible he’s this strong...?" Hades muttered to himself, a palpable sense of disbelief and fear creeping into his voice. It had been years since he’d been pushed to the brink of defeat, yet here he was, battered and bruised by a young man barely out of his teens. The sheer audacity of it all was almost too much for him to comprehend.
The reality of the situation, however, was undeniable. Hades stared across at Finn, bathed in the ethereal glow of his fiery magic, a grim determination hardening his features. He even found himself momentarily tempted to cast aside his eyepatch and engage in a desperate, all-out battle with the young mage.
But ultimately, he shook his head, dismissing the impulsive thought.
"No, I haven’t found Zeref yet. Even if I fight this kid to the death, I’m not sure I could win..." he muttered, his voice barely a whisper.
Hades made his decision. "I can’t afford to engage him any further. If I stay, I might actually die here!"
With newfound resolve, Hades began to channel his immense magical power, intricate and complex runes materializing in the air before him.
Witnessing this, Finn immediately seized the opportunity, brandishing Ryujin Jakka and launching another ferocious assault upon Hades. The flames surrounding Hades intensified, threatening to consume him entirely.
Cold sweat trickled down Hades’ forehead. He could see the cold, hard glint of pure, unadulterated killing intent in Finn’s eyes.
"If I try to withstand that blow directly, I’m dead!" the thought flashed through Hades’ mind with chilling clarity.
"Kid! If that’s the case, then let Makarov die with me!" Hades cried out, his voice filled with desperation. He unleashed his fully charged Amaterasu spell, aiming the devastating blast of dark magic towards the distant figure of Makarov.
A beam of immense, dark magical energy hurtled towards Makarov at an alarming speed.
"You bastard!" Finn roared, his voice filled with righteous fury.
Without a moment’s hesitation, Finn abandoned his attack on Hades, his body moving with the speed of a projectile as he launched himself towards Makarov. With a single, powerful stroke of Ryujin Jakka, he unleashed a torrent of roaring flames, engulfing Hades’ Amaterasu spell.
BOOM————!!
The resulting explosion was cataclysmic, the sound echoing across the island, shaking the very foundations of Tenrou Island. Nearly one-eighth of the island was affected by the devastating blast, the shockwave spreading uncontrollably across the ravaged landscape.
