Zancrow laughed wildly.
"It’s not over yet!" Natsu shouted, scrambling back to his feet.
"Haaah..."
Natsu took a deep breath, magical power gathering in his mouth.
"Fire Dragon’s Roar!!"
A torrent of flames erupted from Natsu’s mouth.
Zancrow simply smiled.
"You know, it was the gods who bestowed fire upon humanity. Fire wasn’t created by man or dragon, but by the gods!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Natsu’s roar hit Zancrow directly. Natsu felt a surge of triumph.
"Did I get him?"
But the next moment, Natsu’s eyes widened in disbelief. The Dragon flames burning on Zancrow were rapidly diminishing, as if being drawn towards Zancrow’s mouth.
The onlookers immediately understood what was happening. Zancrow was absorbing Natsu’s flames!
"These flames are quite exquisite!" Zancrow patted his stomach, chuckling with satisfaction after absorbing Natsu’s flames.
"Now, it’s my turn to return the favor!"
A black magic circle materialized before him.
"Fire God’s Bellow!!"
In an instant, black-red flames engulfed Natsu.
"Aaaaaah~~"
With a heart-wrenching scream, Natsu’s body was sent hurtling through the air.
"You can’t escape, hahaha!" Zancrow stood at the edge of the cliff, watching Natsu’s falling form with unrestrained laughter. Without hesitation, he leaped from the cliff after him.

Natsu, clutching his right arm, stumbled through the tall grass.
"Damn it, that guy..." Natsu gritted his teeth, his face contorted in pain and frustration.
"That guy’s flames were seriously hot, but compared to Finn’s, it’s a world of difference," he muttered, recalling the terrifying heat of Finn’s flames, a heat capable of melting anything.
Natsu still couldn’t fathom how Finn generated such an extreme temperature.
As he continued to walk and complain, Natsu’s steps suddenly came to a halt.
Through the trees ahead, he witnessed a scene that resembled a desolate wasteland, a landscape ravaged by fire.
"What... happened here?" he wondered aloud, his curiosity piqued.
He pushed forward, cautiously making his way through the charred remains of the forest. Only a few blackened tree trunks remained standing, stark reminders of the once-lush forest. The ground was cracked and scarred, with smoke still rising from the earth, and the intense heat lingering in the air.
The scene spoke volumes of a cataclysmic battle. The lingering heat, combined with the echoes of the massive explosion he had heard earlier, confirmed his suspicions. This was the battlefield where Finn and his comrades had fought.
However, there was no sign of anyone remaining.
"Hahahaha, so you’re here after all!" Just as Natsu was lost in thought, Zancrow’s arrogant laughter echoed through the air.
Zancrow, his distinctive yellow hair gleaming, approached with his characteristic wide gait.
"You can’t escape, hahaha!"
Natsu turned, the events of his recent battle replaying relentlessly in his mind.
"I... I really can’t win against him..."
For the first time in his life, even the ever-confident Natsu began to question his own abilities.
"No!" Natsu suddenly clenched his fist, flames flaring to life upon his knuckles.
"Even if I’m not his match... I can’t back down! This is Fairy Tail’s sacred ground. Facing these invaders, I have no choice but to fight!"
Zancrow observed Natsu, his head bowed low, his body trembling slightly.
"What’s wrong, Dragon Slayer? Why are you shaking like a leaf?" Zancrow taunted, his voice laced with cruel amusement.
"Fear?" Natsu murmured, his gaze fixed upon his trembling hands.
A single drop of sweat trickled down his cheek, a testament to the fear that coursed through him, although perhaps also a result of the intense heat still lingering in the air.
Feeling the lingering heat, Natsu clenched his fist once more, his resolve hardening.
"Ah... I was afraid... yes," Natsu admitted without hesitation.
"But this is different from the fear Gildarts talked about."
BOOM—
A surge of Dragon flames erupted from Natsu’s body, engulfing him in a blazing inferno.
"I am trembling, but not from fear of defeat! I’m trembling because I’m afraid that these intruders, these trespassers who dare to invade our home, will be dealt with before I get the chance! I’m afraid of letting others handle them!"
He lifted his head, his face contorted with a ferocious rage.
"I will not forgive you, you vile, despicable creatures!"
In that moment, the Dragon within Natsu finally unleashed its full, terrifying roar.
He was about to slay a god.
...
Not far from Natsu, a figure could be seen carrying an elderly man along a forest path.
Suddenly, a surge of magical energy from behind caused both of them to pause.
Finn turned his head, his gaze fixed on the area he had just left.
How could there still be a battle going on there?
"That magical energy... it’s Natsu!" Makarov exclaimed from Finn’s back, sensing the familiar magical signature.
"Who is he fighting?" Makarov asked, his voice laced with concern.
The magical energy emanating from behind was not solely Natsu’s; another, unfamiliar magical presence was also present.
"It must be one of the Seven Kin of Purgatory," Finn stated grimly.
"The Seven Kin of Purgatory?" Makarov suddenly recalled the goat-like figure that had sped past him earlier during his confrontation with the Grimoire Heart airship.
Finn continued, "There are many of them. I managed to take down one of the Seven Kin when I arrived to provide support earlier."
"If I’m not mistaken, there are still six more lurking on this island!"
Makarov’s eyes widened in surprise upon hearing Finn’s words.
"That goat!" he gritted, his voice laced with a mixture of anger and determination.
Finn nodded in confirmation. "My original plan was to deliver you to the assembly point first, and then deal with the remaining Kin of Purgatory."
Finn’s gaze shifted towards the rear, his expression growing increasingly serious.
"Unexpectedly, it seems I’ve stumbled upon one of them."
"Finn, you need to go and help Natsu!" Makarov urged, his voice filled with concern.
Finn glanced down at Makarov, who was still being carried on his back.
"Gramps, are you still able to hold on?"
Makarov nodded firmly. "I’m fine!"
Seeing Makarov’s unwavering resolve, Finn didn’t hesitate any longer, carrying him towards the direction of Natsu’s battle.
"This is perfect, actually. If I encounter one of the Seven Kin, they might know Hades’ hiding place."
"Finn, Natsu’s magic has vanished..." Makarov’s voice cut through the air as Finn swiftly moved through the forest.
Upon hearing Makarov’s words, Finn immediately focused his senses on the distant battle.
Indeed, from the magical signatures emanating from the nearby conflict, it was clear that Natsu’s magical power had completely disappeared.
"Gramps, hold on tight!" Finn exclaimed, his voice laced with urgency, as he turned to address Makarov.
