Mystogan watched, utterly bewildered, as Natsu’s flames instantly dissipated.

Natsu, in a wildly exaggerated fashion, spun around in a complete circle before tripping over his own feet and dramatically falling to the ground.

"Aaah! The holy sword truly is a divine weapon! Amazing! I’m dead!"

Having dramatically proclaimed his demise, Natsu lay on the ground, feigning death with such gusto that he even took the time to scratch an itch on his leg before quickly resuming his act.

...

A heavy silence descended upon the scene.

"Hooray! The prince has defeated a demon king!"

"There are still two more! Prince, get ’em!"

The sudden eruption of cheers from the crowd brought a sigh of relief to Finn and the others.

"That guy almost blew our cover," Finn muttered, shaking his head.

Gajeel, adopting a convincing display of outrage, charged forward. His acting was far more natural; his arm transforming into an iron dragon sword, he exchanged several blows with Mystogan before dramatically collapsing to the ground after being struck by the holy sword.

The crowd was ecstatic, their eyes glued to the two combatants, their cheers for Mystogan deafening.

Finn raised an eyebrow. "So, your sword is quite impressive, managing to defeat two of my underlings. However..."

He paused, his gaze fixed on Mystogan.

"However... can you defeat me?"

With that, Finn unleashed another fiery punch. Mystogan quickly dodged, swinging his sword, but Finn caught his arm, their eyes meeting.

"Mystogan," Finn said, his voice low and somber, a tone only they could hear, "I watched you join this guild. Now, it falls to me to see you leave." A hint of melancholy tinged his words.

Mystogan froze, seemingly understanding something.

"Those who leave Fairy Tail must abide by three rules!"

The tense standoff shattered as Finn unleashed a powerful knee strike to Mystogan’s abdomen, his voice booming.

"First, you shall never spread any information detrimental to Fairy Tail!"

Mystogan, gritting his teeth against the pain, retaliated with a swift counter-punch, simultaneously continuing Finn’s declaration.

"Second, you shall never contact past clients for personal gain!"

They exchanged blows, their fists clenched tight, yet their eyes glistened with unshed tears.

"Third! Even if your paths diverge, you must live strong, never underestimate your life! Never forget your cherished friends!"

Their combined roars echoed across the battlefield.

Finn ducked under Mystogan’s sword, grabbing his arm, forcing the holy sword high. It shone brightly, like a true holy sword. The sky responded with a brilliant golden lightning bolt that struck Finn.

The thunderous roar forced the crowd to cover their ears.

"Remember this well," Finn whispered amidst the thunder, collapsing from the strike.

Mystogan looked towards the rooftop where Laxus stood, crackling with electricity. Laxus smiled, raising his hand, showing a reversed seven to Mystogan, who widened his eyes.

In the crowd, Erza, Wendy, Lucy, Happy, Carla, and Gray mirrored Laxus’s action, raising their right hands. Their hidden smiles conveyed their heartfelt support. The raised hands symbolized their unwavering support, regardless of distance.

Tears streamed down Mystogan’s face.

"Thank you, my friends," he whispered.

"The prince won!!"

"The prince is chosen by the gods!"

"Heaven sent lightning to help the prince!"

"Prince, you’re amazing!"

Cheers erupted, dispelling the darkness and fear. Golden light enveloped Finn and the others.

Mystogan was stunned.

"Their bodies..."

"It’s a sign of farewell," Finn said softly.

The reversed Anima would cleanse Edolas of all magic—something even Mystogan didn’t know.

"As long as we don’t forget the guild’s spirit, nothing is impossible!" Natsu grinned, floating upwards.

"I hope we can meet again, Jellal," Wendy said softly.

Mystogan watched them ascend, silent.

"Don’t be sad. We’re all leaving; shouldn’t we leave behind a happy memory?" Finn smiled.

"Finn... everyone..." Mystogan wiped his tears, smiling.

"That’s right!"

Their ascent reinforced Mystogan’s victory.

"The demons were taken by the sky!"

"The brave prince saved us all!"

Cheers surrounded Mystogan, proving everyone accepted him as a hero.

"Prince..." Panther Lily called.

Mystogan looked at Panther Lily in the air. Since all magic was being removed, the Exceeds, the only ones with magic left in Edolas, would also be sent to Earthland, never to return.

"There’s no need to rush. Take it one step at a time. Even at a walking pace, as long as you keep moving forward, you’ll reach your destination," Panther Lily said softly.

"I know," Mystogan replied, smiling.

The Edolas Fairy Tail members watched Lucy and the others fly away, lost and uncertain. The magic was disappearing; they had lost their future.

"Don’t look like that. Does losing magic mean the guild is over?" Gray asked.

They stared at Gray.

"Where our friends are, that’s the guild," Gray said, thumping his chest. They understood. It wasn’t about power; it was about their friends.

"Goodbye, Edolas. Goodbye, our other Fairy Tail," Earthland Lucy waved.

Nancy floated, looking at Edolas with complex emotions. It was where she’d lived for six years. Leaving meant never returning. She was entering an entirely unfamiliar world.

Finn saw Nancy’s apprehension—longing for the old world, fear of the new. He patted her head.

"Come to Fairy Tail! It’s a fun place!"

Nancy looked at Finn and the Earthland Fairy Tail members, all smiling.

"Hey, Nancy, our guild will be even more lively!" Happy cheered.

"Nancy, our guild is great!" Carla said.

"Okay!" Nancy nodded.

Finn then looked towards the Edolas Fairy Tail members, remembering his sister.
