The man reported with intense urgency.

...

"How many rioters?" Panther Lily asked.

"Only... only three," the soldier replied, shamefaced.

"Only three? Why didn’t you stop them?" Panther Lily pressed.

"Because... because they were too strong, and we inexplicably lost our magic. We couldn’t stop them, so please, Panther Lily-sama, go and see for yourself."

Panther Lily and Mystogan exchanged a look. Without further discussion, they followed the soldier to a high platform overlooking the distance.

They were instantly stunned.

In the distance, Finn, cloaked, sat comfortably on a rooftop, a devilish smile playing on his lips. Faust, unconscious, was bound to a nearby pillar. Below, Natsu, also cloaked, was excitedly unleashing fire everywhere. His maniacal laughter echoed.

"Hahahaha, I am the Great Dragon King, Dragneel!"

"This world’s magic... all mine!"

"Hahahaha, Ouch!"

As Natsu roared with laughter, a large boulder unceremoniously struck him on the head.

"Natsu, you idiot, that’s my line!" Finn said angrily.

Finn composed himself, standing up and pointing dramatically at Faust.

He shouted, "Your king is utterly defeated! If I hadn’t shown mercy, he wouldn’t even be alive! Be grateful! Hahahaha!"

As he spoke, Finn raised his arm, unleashing a torrent of intense flames that blazed across the sky.

"Finn, Natsu, and Gajeel?!" Mystogan exclaimed, recognizing the figures.

Panther Lily paused, a thought dawning on him.

"Those three... could it be?!"

"No, Your Majesty!"

"How could they do such a thing?!"

"Why can he breathe fire?!"

The gathered citizens looked at the scene with terror.

"What are they doing?" The Edolas Fairy Tail members, having just arrived, were utterly bewildered by the unfolding spectacle.

"Destroy this city!" Finn’s voice, deliberately low and menacing, sent a chill down everyone’s spines.

"Yahahahaha!" Natsu laughed excitedly, gathering fire in his mouth before unleashing a devastating torrent of flames that engulfed and destroyed countless buildings in its path.

"That guy totally forgot he’s supposed to be acting," Gajeel muttered under his breath, shaking his head in disbelief at Natsu’s unrestrained destruction.

His arm transformed into a black, serrated sword, which he swung with a powerful backhand motion.

BOOM—

A line of houses behind him was instantly severed.

"Our town..."

"Wait, he breathes fire, and his hands turn into swords?"

"What’s going on with those guys?!"

The citizens gasped in astonishment, their mouths agape.

Edolas Gajeel, witnessing the scene from the sidelines, shouted to the terrified onlookers,

"Those are the great villains who want to destroy our world! Those three are demons incarnate!"

Upon hearing Edolas Gajeel’s desperate cry, the surrounding citizens finally grasped the horrifying reality of the situation.

An uproar of angry shouts and desperate wails erupted from the crowd.

"Stop them!!"

Mystogan leaped from the high platform and ran towards the scene, his voice ringing out across the chaos.

Hearing the shouts, Finn turned to see Mystogan rushing towards him, a cold smile spreading across his lips.

"Oh, Edolas’s prince. You’ve come to stop me?"

Finn’s words caused a ripple of surprise amongst the surrounding citizens.

"The prince?"

"That person is the prince?"

The crowd buzzed with speculation, and at that moment, Edolas Gajeel seized the opportunity to further manipulate the situation.

"That’s Prince Jellal, missing for seven years!!"

He pointed dramatically at Mystogan, his voice echoing across the square.

"Legend has it that seven years ago, the prince received divine guidance and journeyed alone to an unknown land to seek a holy sword capable of vanquishing the Demon King!"

"It seems the prince has come to stop the Demon King!"

Edolas Gajeel’s words ignited a spark of hope in the hearts of the terrified citizens.

"Thank goodness, Prince! Please defeat them!"

"Please defeat this Demon King!"

The fervent pleas of the crowd washed over Mystogan, causing him to clench his fists. He understood Finn’s plan, but a flicker of hesitation still lingered in his eyes.

Suddenly, a brilliant white light erupted from Mystogan’s hand.

A magnificent sword, its hilt and blade predominantly golden in color, materialized in his grasp.

Mystogan was momentarily stunned, his gaze instantly drawn to Erza, who stood amidst the crowd, a knowing smile playing on her lips as she gave him a subtle yet encouraging wave.

"This is your mission," she whispered, her words barely audible above the din of the crowd.

"Oh, is that the holy sword?" a citizen exclaimed, pointing towards the radiant weapon now held by Mystogan.

"Thank goodness, Prince! We’re putting our faith in you!"

In that instant, Mystogan realized that there was no turning back. He had to play his part in Finn’s carefully orchestrated plan.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Finn unleashed a fiery fist, striking Mystogan squarely in the abdomen.

A torrent of flames erupted, sending Mystogan flying into the surrounding buildings.

"Using magic... isn’t that a bit excessive?" Wendy said worriedly.

"No, it’s perfect," Erza replied. "Without some difficulty, it wouldn’t be convincing. And they’re being careful."

Wendy nodded in agreement.

Meanwhile, Mystogan emerged from the rubble, instinctively clutching his abdomen. The searing pain caused a bead of sweat to trickle down his forehead.

"What’s wrong? Already giving up, Edolas’s prince?" Finn mocked, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"If that’s the case, then this world is doomed! Hehehe!"

A chilling, sinister laugh echoed from Finn, sending a shiver down the spines of even Erza and the others.

"Finn seems to have a lot of potential as a villain..." Wendy whispered, a hint of amusement in her voice.

"He’s probably just showing his true nature," Gray surmised.

Even Erza nodded in agreement.

Mystogan, clutching the ’holy sword’ tightly, charged once more into the fray.

"Edolas’s prince! Let’s have a go!" Natsu charged towards Mystogan with unrestrained enthusiasm.

"Natsu..." Mystogan murmured, reluctantly raising the holy sword to meet Natsu’s fiery fist.
