Chapter 276: Chapter 0276: The Egg Exploded_1

"Kill..."

Zhang Bin was the first to attack, charging forward with an Arrow Step. His sword transformed into a fierce tempest, a forest of yellow blades stabbing toward Di Xingde’s vital points with overwhelming murderous intent.

"Well struck!" Di Xingde roared, his own sword thrusting out in a blur.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

The sharp sound of forging iron rang out as sparks flew, illuminating the already dimming sky. They moved with the speed of falcons, their figures as elusive as ghosts, and their swordsmanship was enough to startle gods and ghosts. For a moment, no victor could be determined.

A sense of pride surged in Zhang Bin’s heart. His diligent cultivation had clearly paid off. Di Xingde was formidable. While not as powerful as the masked, black-clad woman who had tried to assassinate him, the gap wasn’t large. Back then, he would have been no match for her. But now, he could fight Di Xingde, a cultivator at the Liquid Transformation Late Stage, on even footing without even using his Special Ability. This meant his overall combat strength was approaching that of the assassin.

CLANG!

Their swords clashed fiercely once again. Both men staggered back several steps, then glared at each other like tigers.

"Who in the world are you? Why did you trick my son out of his ring?" Di Xingde asked coldly, a hint of fear on his face.

A young man who looked to be no older than twenty had actually reached the Great Perfection stage of the Qi Sea Realm. Although his movement speed wasn’t as fast as his own, the speed of his sword was faster. This completely shattered Di Xingde’s perception. Such a youth had to have an extraordinary background.

As for Di Yu, he was utterly dumbfounded. He stared at Zhang Bin with terror in his eyes, his face a mask of dread. Zhang Bin could fight his father to a standstill. Such strength was terrifying, something beyond his wildest imagination.

"You old bastard, you’ve raised a fine son, one who preys on innocent women. I imagine you’ve done plenty of that yourself," Zhang Bin snarled as an icy killing intent erupted from him. "Now, I’m considering whether I should eliminate this menace for the public’s sake."

"You..." Beside himself with rage, Di Xingde lunged forward like a madman, shouting, "Everyone, attack together!"

At that moment, murder was on his mind.

Di Yu was even more malicious, sneering as he yelled, "Get the woman!"

The numerous experts drew their weapons and, coordinating with Di Xingde, swarmed toward Zhang Bin and Yang Yiyi.

"Don’t worry about me, just go!" Yang Yiyi cried out, her face a picture of despair.

She was exceptionally intelligent. She knew that with a powerful man like Di Xingde, who could fight Zhang Bin to a standstill, plus so many other skilled fighters, Zhang Bin would never be able to hold out. If he also had to protect her, the outcome would be tragic. They would both die here. It would be better for her to die alone.

Zhang Bin indeed couldn’t handle so many experts, not even with his Flying Sword. Besides, he couldn’t use his Flying Sword, as that would expose the secret that he, Chen Junheng, was actually Zhang Bin.

However, even if he couldn’t win, he could still escape.

He swiftly wrapped an arm around Yang Yiyi’s slender waist and leaped into the air, dodging at least a dozen weapon attacks.

"Hahaha... You’re dead this time!" Di Xingde laughed in exhilaration, leaping high into the air as well. His sword lunged like a venomous snake at Zhang Bin’s groin.

The other experts also jumped, their swords thrusting rapidly, intending to riddle Zhang Bin with holes.

But to their astonishment, their blades got farther and farther away from Zhang Bin’s lower body. Then, gravity took hold, and they all fell back to the ground.

Zhang Bin, however, holding a beautiful woman in his arms, did not fall. He continued to ascend.

"How is this possible? How?"

Everyone was completely flabbergasted, their faces filled with shock and disbelief. They wondered if they were dreaming. How could such a young man fly into the sky while carrying another person? Even a Superpower User couldn’t be this amazing, could they? This had to be S-rank abilities, right? Or was this youth a master of the Golden Core Realm?

But the most shocked of all was Yang Yiyi, held tightly in Zhang Bin’s arms. When she realized Zhang Bin was holding her as he soared into the sky, her mind went blank with a deafening roar.

Could he be an Immortal? Otherwise, how could he possibly fly? Otherwise, how could he be a Grandmaster of the three arts—Calligraphy, Painting, and the Zither—at such a young age? Yes, that must be it. He’s an Immortal. Is this Immortal here to save me?

With a look of sheer enjoyment, Zhang Bin flew through the air with the beauty in his arms, but he had no intention of leaving just yet. He landed on the roof of an unfinished building, grabbed half a brick from a wall, and crumbled it into many small pieces, which he then hurled downward.

SWOOSH! SWOOSH! SWOOSH!

The projectiles sliced through the air with a shrill sound. The Cultivators below were all experts, so they either dodged the attack or parried the pieces with their weapons.

Di Yu, however, despite having cultivated to the Rushing Pulse Realm, was unable to evade Zhang Bin’s projectiles. He suddenly felt a terrifying, sharp pain in his lower body. He screamed, clutching his crotch as he crumpled to the ground. "My balls! He shattered my balls!"

"Bastard! How could you be so vicious?" Di Xingde roared, his voice dripping with venom.

"Old bastard, I’m doing you a favor. Your son’s womanizing ways would get you into trouble sooner or later. So, I shattered his balls. I’ve eliminated a future problem for you. Shouldn’t you be thanking me?" Zhang Bin finished with a wicked laugh, then scooped up Yang Yiyi and flew away.

The crowd of experts below could only stare helplessly, watching as Zhang Bin disappeared into the distance with the beauty in his arms.

"Chen Junheng, are you an Immortal?" Yang Yiyi couldn’t help but ask, her voice full of hope.

A mischievous smile spread across Zhang Bin’s face. "Then would you like to be an Immortal’s woman?"

"You’re no Immortal," Yang Yiyi said coquettishly, her pretty face turning crimson. "You’re just a Big Bad Egg."

Zhang Bin landed with her on a street, looking bewildered. "How am I not an Immortal?"

"Immortals aren’t poor, and they aren’t as lecherous as you," Yang Yiyi said with a giggle, slipping out of his embrace.

"Beautiful, you can’t miss out on a man like me—handsome, talented, skilled in fighting, writing, painting, and even flying," said Zhang Bin. "Being my girlfriend is your best choice."

"You’re just tooting your own horn," Yang Yiyi replied with a playful pout. "I have to go home. Goodbye, Chen Junheng. And thank you."

With that, she turned and walked quickly down the street.

But Zhang Bin followed closely behind her, as if he intended to go home with her.

"Chen Junheng, why are you following me?" Yang Yiyi asked, astonished.

"I’m going to meet my mother-in-law. If I don’t follow you, how will I ever find her?" Zhang Bin said with perfect self-assurance.

"How can following me lead you to your mother-in-law?" Yang Yiyi asked, her face a mask of confusion.

"Because your mom," Zhang Bin said with a completely straight face, "is my mother-in-law."
