Chapter 527 Crisis Event Grading (Part 1)

"That may be so..." Kick-Tap Freak added, "But now... the enemies are either dead or have run away..." He stroked his chin thoughtfully, "How are we supposed to find Dr. Shuai Shuai Shuai Shuai now?"

"Uh... let me ask..." Feng Bujue chimed in, "That giant, eye-catching building over there..." He gestured towards a skyscraper in the distance, "What's it for?"

"Oh, that's the Zha Zha Zha Zha Star government building," Breakdance Hero replied. "It's the most famous landmark on the whole planet."

"Then Dr. Shuai is probably inside..." Feng Bujue squinted. "Qiong Qiong Qiong Qiong and Cuo Cuo Cuo Cuo came from that direction, and Cuo Cuo Cuo Cuo just ran off that way..."

"Hmm... that makes sense." Kick-Tap Freak nodded. "You really are a super-intelligent hero."

"I wonder if I'm really smart or you guys are just dumb..." Feng Bujue complained inwardly. "I feel like you've lowered the standards for both 'super' and 'intelligent'... And why didn't you just fly your ship right over the building and jump out? Don't tell me you were worried about anti-air defenses... I'll never believe you could think that far ahead..."

"Alright, let's head out then," Breakdance Hero said.

"Oh, wait for me a second," Brother Jue said, as if suddenly remembering something. As he spoke, he walked over to Qiong Qiong Qiong Qiong's corpse.

Breakdance Hero and Kick-Tap Freak exchanged glances, wondering what Poker Face was up to.

In reality, Feng Bujue simply wanted to loot the body...

But he knew that Thriller Paradise wasn't the kind of game where monsters dropped items when killed. Even if you took down a scenario boss, you might not get anything.

"I guess I can't take it off..." Feng Bujue spent a good while searching Marshal Qiong Qiong Qiong Qiong's body, but he couldn't find any valuable items, nor could he remove the armor.

Brother Jue discovered that the black armor wasn't "worn" by Qiong Qiong Qiong Qiong, but rather "embedded" in his body, making it a true "exoskeleton." The only part of the armor that could be removed directly was the helmet, but that part had already been destroyed by the Must-Break-Defense Blade, and he couldn't even see its item description.

"Poker Face... are you looking for something?" Breakdance Hero asked after watching for a while.

"Yeah..." Brother Jue reacted quickly. With his acting skills, wit, and ability to spin a yarn, he could fool these two any way he wanted. "I was trying to see if this helmet could still be used."

"Oh! I get it!" Kick-Tap Freak exclaimed. "You want to use the communication device or navigation system in the helmet to find out Dr. Shuai Shuai Shuai Shuai's location, right?"

"Right, right, right, right!" Feng Bujue seized the opportunity and nodded quickly. "Too bad... this helmet is completely broken." He stood up. "We'll just have to play it by ear..."

"Don't worry, Poker Face. If we don't have enough information, we'll just take our time," Breakdance Hero said. "Kick-Tap Freak and I are both 'galaxy-level' superheroes. Dealing with a C-level incident is more than enough for us, and even if there are any unexpected situations, they won't pose any threat to us."

"Galaxy-level?" Feng Bujue heard a new term.

At this point, Breakdance Hero and Kick-Tap Freak already regarded Brother Jue as a future mainstay of the Alliance, so naturally, they wouldn't hide any common knowledge from him. Breakdance Hero replied immediately, "Yes, that's the ranking system the Ultra-Union uses for superheroes. Broadly speaking, there are four levels: city-level, planet-level, galaxy-level, and universe-level."

Kick-Tap Freak added, "Of course, the level isn't just based on 'combat ability.' For example, 'Toad Man,' even though he doesn't have any superpowers, he's still classified as universe-level because he doesn't need superpowers to do things that many galaxy-level heroes can't."

"Oh, I understand..." Feng Bujue murmured. He turned around and pointed ahead. "By the way, let's talk as we walk." Now that things had reached this point, Brother Jue was no longer worried about his safety, so he made this suggestion.

The other two agreed, and so the three of them set off on foot.

"Tell me more about the crisis event classifications. I'm also very interested in that," Feng Bujue continued to ask.

Breakdance Hero replied, "Hmm... that's a bit more complicated..." He thought for a few seconds, organizing his thoughts before saying, "From low to high, there are a total of seven levels. The lowest is F-level, which refers to 'ordinary criminal activity.' Generally speaking, it's any violation of the laws of the planet where the incident occurs, such as murder, robbery, theft, and so on. Then there's E-level, which refers to 'criminal activity that could destroy a city,' such as creating giant monsters, releasing viral weapons, or organizing troops to occupy towns. Above that is D-level, which refers to 'criminal activity that could destroy a country.' Although many planets have a unified government, there are also many planets like Earth where multiple countries coexist, so D-level was established. This level is between E and C. If an E-level incident isn't handled properly, it's very likely to escalate to D-level." He paused at this point. "The above three levels are usually resolved by one or more superheroes native to the planet where the incident occurs. In most cases, the Alliance doesn't need to send anyone."

Kick-Tap Freak then took over, saying, "As for C-level, you already know, it refers to 'a crisis that is sufficient to destroy a planet,' which is the kind of incident we're currently dealing with."

"Mm-hmm..." Feng Bujue responded twice, signaling them to continue.

Breakdance Hero continued, "C-level incidents, in theory, should still be handled by local heroes, or rather, they have 'priority.' However, city-level heroes are mostly unable to handle this level of incident alone. Therefore, some planets have also formed their own superhero alliances. Whenever they encounter a crisis that a single hero cannot handle, they will unite."

"The Avengers..." Feng Bujue blurted out.

"Huh, what?" Breakdance Hero asked, puzzled.

"Uh..." Based on the other party's reaction, Brother Jue deduced that this universe probably didn't have the Avengers, and not even related comics, "Nothing... I just suddenly thought of a good organization name. What do you think of the_Avengers?"

"Ah?" Kick-Tap Freak laughed. "You're really joking. That name doesn't sound like a hero organization at all, does it?"

Breakdance Hero added, "Yeah... it sounds more like an organization that supervillains would form, 'The Avengers'... What are they trying to avenge? Taking revenge on society?"

Brother Jue chuckled dryly. "Heh... heh heh... never mind I said anything..." He immediately steered the conversation back on track. "Um... where were we? Oh! Right... what if local heroes can't handle a C-level incident?"

"Then naturally, the Alliance will step in," Breakdance Hero replied. "Some planets have no, or very few, city-level heroes. In that case, the Alliance will send people as soon as they receive the news. In order to resolve the crisis and save more lives as quickly as possible, the Alliance usually sends people who are nearby. Of course, to handle a C-level crisis, the individual or team sent must have at least one planet-level hero or higher."

As the three of them were speaking, they arrived on a main road directly in front of the government building.

"Mie ha ha ha ha..." Suddenly, another burst of loud laughter came.

They saw a line of humanoid mechs neatly arranged in a square formation, marching forward. Leading the column was a short figure in white armor, and the laughter was coming from him.

"Mie ha ha ha ha, Ultra-Union heroes, your road ends here!" the person shouted loudly. "Consider yourselves unlucky to have met me, for I am... the great, the evil, the invincible Dr. Shuai Shuai Shuai Shuai's number one general... General Ai Ai Ai Ai!"

"It's really... indescribable..." Feng Bujue covered his forehead with one hand and shook his head helplessly. "I've given up on having any expectations for these short people's names..."
