Chapter 256: Chapter 256: Reactions
[3rd POV]
While Gwen was talking with the girls, and enjoying her night watching movies and just living in peace until it was time to head to the DC multiverse for the first time in years, around the universe, quite a lot of entities were reacting to her new and changed presence.
And not a lot of them were very happy.

Within the confines of Olympus of this universe, the council of the Olympus Gods were in absolute chaos, as yells and screaming echoed through the room. As everyone could feel it, the power of their domains, the fact that they were no longer as powerful in them, that there was someone in this universe that had a stronger divinity in their own domain than them.
It was impossible, it shouldn’t work, it shouldn’t even be able to happen, and yet it did. As everyone, from Hestia to Zeus could feel it. They could all sense and feel that they were weaker, and they were well and truly pissed, none more so than Zeus himself.
"This cannot stand! It was one thing to have some upstart fool gain power in the domains, a small amount. But now they possess more power than us in our own domains! We cannot allow a being like this to exist, we must find them, and we MUST eliminate them!" The yell of Poseidon ripped through the space as everyone yelled their own form of agreements.
"But how do we find this fool? We’ve tried for months now to find them, and we couldn’t get a trace. And that was before they had all this power in our domains, now that they are stronger than us, what are we to do to find them? Not even Hecate with her magic can track them down" Hermes asked, as the council began to go silent in thought, before Zeus spoke.
"It does not matter what we do, we must find this upstart and eliminate them. Such a change cannot be allowed to stand, we cannot allow them to remain in power over us! They threaten not just all of us in this room, but all the Gods with domains they now have control over!" Zeus’s voice shook the room as he was enraged.
"Father, perhaps...perhaps we can use that?" Athena spoke up, as they all turned to her.
"Explain, daughter"
"The other pantheons are likely also in chaos, trying to figure out who this person is, and how they have gained more power in our domains than we have. And it is not just limited to us, but all the Pantheons. Meaning...if we were to work together, perhaps we can find this individual and work together to wipe them out before they grow stronger" Athena explained to her father, as he went silent and listened to her words.
It was a sound idea, and should theoretically work. BUT, it all relied on the other Gods being willing to work with them, and they were...a bit hard to work with. The Gods, especially the different rulers of their Pantheons, were inherently arrogant, it was a part of their very being.
So it would be difficult to get them to work with them, but...it should be possible.
"That...may be the best option. I do not wish to work with those other fools, but perhaps this the best option we have" Zeus replied simply, as a sigh escaped him, before nodding.
"Get into contact with the others, tell them of our desire to work together to find this upstart God, and promise no conflict between our pantheon and any that work with us for the next...century, that should be enough to get them to agree" Zeus said, as Athena and Hermes both nodded, as they worked together to do messaging and such.
As they all began to leave, Zeus watched them silently, one thought on his mind.

With the Egyptian Pantheon, Ra was having similar thoughts at the moment.
He had fought and killed Elder Gods, had fought with and contended with the likes of Odin and Zeus, and had shown the universe why the Ennead are not to be underestimated, why the Egyptian Gods are to be feared.
And yet, there was now an entity out there that truly dared to claim power in their domains, not just one of theirs, but ALL of them. All the power, all the control, it was all beginning to direct to this unknown individual of immense power.
And he felt that even he was growing weaker within his domains, as they grew stronger. It was like he was fighting against a stronger, better, superior version of himself.
And that terrified him. For he knew that whatever this being was...it was deadly, and it was powerful. So powerful that he could instinctively tell that he alone would not be enough, it would require the effort of many Gods in order to overcome this threat to their reign.
Like the Greek Gods, his people were also freaking out about what was happening, that they were losing control within their domains, that someone out there was rapidly gaining power and control over their domains. It was a true cause for concern, and their panic was completely and utterly founded.
"What are we to do? Are we going to find this fool and put them in their place?" One of the Gods asked, as Ra sat upon his throne, the other Gods looking to him for the answer, as he was their leader.
"...I believe that for the best, yes. But I alone cannot find them, they are powerful, and they are hidden very well. We will need the aid of the other Pantheons of Earth in order to find them. And it would seem that our Greek Brethren agree" Ra spoke, as he felt Hermes enter their dimension, as he allowed him to appear in the throne room.
"I carry a message from the King of Olympus, Zeus. We wish to work alongside all the pantheons of Earth in order to find and hunt down this upstart. In return, my father promises one century without conflict, so long as the other pantheons who agree also agree to not cause conflict, do you agree?" Hermes questioned rapidly, as he had a lot of other pantheons to visit.
Ra listened to the agreement, before nodding "I agree, son of Zeus. Now be off, and gather the rest of the pantheons, we will need them all to fight back against this threat" Ra replied, as the man nodded and zoomed off to the next pantheon.
Watching the son of Zeus leave, Ra’s face formed into a small smile, one thought on his mind.
’...It would seem that this upstart won’t be lasting long’

Similar events were occurring around the pantheons, but there was one that was reacting differently, and had even sent Hermes away, and that was of course, Odin.
Why?
Because he felt it. He felt the power within Gwen, but more than that...he felt the Odinforce. This upstart? They didn’t just have their domains, their divinity, they had their power. And they had his power, the Odinforce.
Except, it was stronger, much stronger than his own, evolved into something better, something...more.
"Why send away Hermes, father?" Thor asked, watching Hermes leave the large home of the royal family of Asgard.
"Because this entity is not one that we can defeat, my son. They have power far beyond any of us, far beyond my own. More than that, they have MY power, the Odinforce, and is it not like my own, it is...stronger, evolved into something better" Odin responded, as his son gazed at him with wide eyes.
"Does-Does that mean they are related to us, father?"
"I...am not sure, my son. But what I do know, is that it will be far better to be allies with this individual than enemies with them. They might just be a boon to our people, rather than a calamity like the others believe" Odin responded, looking off into the distance, using his power to see Mars, knowing that the unknown God was there, from what he had sensed before this jump in power.
"Do you want me to find them, father?" Thor asked, as Odin shook his head.
"No, we shall leave them be for now. We cannot afford to anger them, and I do believe that we shall run across them in the future, so just wait" Odin replied to his son, who nodded, deciding to listen to his father.
After saying these words, Odin leaned back into his throne, one thought on his mind.
’...I wonder...who are you?’

Next Chapter it’s off to DC. The DC arc will be around 10 Chapters or so. And will have a lot of slice of life and family bonding stuff. Maybe some smut too, as it’s been a while since I’ve done an entire Chapter dedicated to it.
