Cherish Seven

Chapter 356: Injured but Still Came

Chapter 356: Chapter 356: Injured but Still Came

Summer Sutton slept as long as Adrian Walyon maintained the same sitting posture.

When they got home, it was past seven, and the Walyon Family was just getting up.

Seeing the couple enter at this hour, Sophie Walyon chuckled, "Not sleeping at night, my brother sure has energy!"

Adrian indeed didn’t sleep last night.

However, when he said this, no matter how you listen, it sounded a bit off.

It’s like last night Summer Sutton and Adrian Walyon didn’t sleep because they were out doing something exhausting.

"Finished your summer homework?" Summer Sutton flicked his head, speechless at him.

"You’re just changing the subject!" Sophie lifted his face to look at her, earnestly pointing out.

Summer was slightly speechless.

This child, although small, is quite sharp.

The two were clearly misunderstood by the family, but Adrian had no intention of explaining.

Following Sophie’s words, he instead leisurely said, "So what if that’s the case? Your sister-in-law didn’t sleep the whole night, don’t disturb during the day!"

Grabbing Summer Sutton’s hand, Adrian led her upstairs.

Neither slept last night, so at this point, both were actually quite tired.

Back in their room, after a simple wash, Adrian embraced Summer Sutton for a nap.

They hadn’t opened the door since the couple went in that morning.

At lunch, the servant originally intended to call them down to eat.

But, upon reaching the door, seeing it still shut, didn’t feel right to disturb.

Their room door stayed closed throughout the day.

The Walyon Family knew the couple had spent the whole day inside.

If they’re catching up on sleep, after a whole day they should be awake by now, right?

During the bright day, not eating, staying cooped in the room, the Walyon Family clearly misunderstood again.

Sophie even seriously told the Old Master, "Grandpa, maybe soon we’ll have a new family member!"

He referred to Summer Sutton and Adrian Walyon’s child.

Beside them, Gina Sutton was sipping fruit tea and seemed so shocked she nearly dropped the cup.

Sophie walked out with hands behind his back, talking to himself as he went.

"My brother’s hand is still injured, it seemed quite severe, doing such things might not be convenient."

"Could it be that everything has to depend on little sister-in-law?"

"For a girl, can one manage alone?"

Actually, Sophie didn’t understand these matters, only knowing that to make a baby, both need to work together.

When one can’t do it, he assumed the other might be having a tough time.

The thoughts of a child, so far-fetched.

With furrowed brows, he seemed quite puzzled by this issue.

...

Summer Sutton awoke groggily after sleeping a whole day, seeing Adrian Walyon applying medication.

He had quite a few injuries, the whole hand wrapped in bandages, making many tasks inconvenient.

Summer Sutton quietly watched him for a while, accidentally getting lost in thought.

How many times had that hand gotten injured for her?

Summer Sutton couldn’t bear seeing Adrian Walyon’s hand injured.

His hand, long, proportionate, with clear bones, beautifully flawless.

Such hands should be for ruling over life and death, holding kingdoms, turning clouds to rain at will.

Summer Sutton couldn’t imagine the impact if his hand were ruined.

Rather than letting Adrian’s hand get injured, Summer Sutton would prefer it was hers.
