Chapter 745: Chapter 445: I See You Clearly Went to Flirt
Ivy Miller stood behind him, pouting as she looked at him, "Uncle, aren’t you going in?"
"Is there even a place to step in here?
A girl turning a place into this kind of mess, you’re quite unique."
Ivy Miller pouted and bypassed him to walk inside, even kicking the floor a bit, "Uncle, can you stop nagging me? I’m just busy."
"Busy going to the bar to drink?"
Ivy Miller’s face darkened slightly, "We haven’t gathered for a long time; there’s something going on tonight."
Henry Sullivan looked at her as he stepped inside, "What’s going on?"
Remembering something about Mia Burton, Ivy Miller pouted, "Do I have to report everything between my friends and me to you?"
She somewhat guiltily turned around to pick up her pajamas and went into the bathroom to change.
Not long after, she came out, having changed the flashy clothes she was wearing into proper pajamas.
Seeing Henry Sullivan helping her tidy up the room, she scratched her brow, "Uncle, just leave it there. I’ll clean up after you leave."
"Do you think anyone in this room believes you?"
Ivy Miller raised her hand, "I believe in myself, eh."
"That’s because you’re thick-skinned. I don’t believe you, so I’m tidying it up for you.
If I do another spot check in the future and find your place this messy, I’ll throw all this stuff out for you."
"Don’t, this is my livelihood. You don’t have to threaten me like this, okay?"
Ivy Miller glared, "If I told you I’d throw your gun away, the one you take to the battlefield, you wouldn’t be okay with it either."
"That’s illegal."
"I’m just making a comparison."
"So, do you think I’m wrong to ask you to keep an indoor cleanliness?"
"Everyone has their own living habits. Can’t I just like living in an environment like this?"
Henry Sullivan glared at her, this woman, how can she be so pretentious, "You like living in this kind of environment?"
Ivy Miller looked around, "It’s...it’s okay."
It was indeed a bit messy, but she really didn’t have time to clean up with the number of orders she had in recent days.
Besides, she lived alone most of the time, and she couldn’t be bothered to clean up.
"That’s why you need to set a rule. Only by living in a clean and tidy environment can a person be physically and mentally healthy."
"I am physically and mentally healthy right now."
"A physically and mentally healthy person would dress like that to go to a bar? I think you were obviously out for some flirting."
Ivy Miller rolled her eyes. She felt she couldn’t clear her name today, so she decided to change the subject.
"Uncle, why are you back today, without a heads-up?"
"I wanted to give a heads-up, but you didn’t answer the phone; who was I supposed to inform?"
Ivy Miller pouted, "I haven’t been in a good mood lately, which is why I gathered so many friends to hang out with me.
We haven’t been there for a long time, you can investigate if you don’t believe me."
"I don’t have that much free time, but I see you and that Robert Weston have an unusual relationship."
Ivy Miller frowned at him. Does he really have to be so sharp?
"What, did I guess wrong?"
"You didn’t guess wrong, he’s my ex-boyfriend."
Ivy Miller wasn’t pretentious, there was really no need to be all secretive about it.
"You’re quite candid."
"If you really want to know, you can find out easily by investigating; we dated for many years, and later broke up because he cheated."
Henry Sullivan’s brow cooled, it seems he didn’t target that man in vain tonight.
