Chapter 746: Chapter 446: I Have a Good Figure
"Looks like a jerk," Henry Sullivan turned around and continued packing his things, "I haven’t had dinner yet, can you cook?"
Ivy Miller stuck out her tongue, "Not really, I rarely cook here."
Henry Sullivan was speechless, "As a woman, what exactly are you good at?"
Ivy Miller thought, this guy really looks down on her now.
"I have a great figure."
He glanced at her, that was true.
"That’s the asset given to you by your parents, I’m asking about your acquired skills."
Ivy Miller pouted, "I only said I’m not great at it, I didn’t say I can’t do it at all, geez."
She got up with a disgruntled look and walked into the kitchen.
Henry Sullivan smiled, just waiting to see what kind of first meal his wife would make for him.
He looked around the room and started rolling up his sleeves to clean.
A dozen minutes later, Ivy Miller came out with a bowl of noodles, and Henry Sullivan frowned just by smelling it.
Ivy Miller had a mysterious look, "Guess what culinary delight Chef Ivy made for you."
"Instant noodles."
"Oh my," Ivy Miller looked down at her tightly covered bowl, "How... how did you know, you peeked."
"The disgusting smell is so strong, can’t you smell it?"
Ivy Miller pouted, "What’s disgusting about it? I eat it every day."
"Eat instant noodles? Are you crazy?"
"How is eating instant noodles crazy? Uncle, I really don’t get your world."
He walked to the kitchen, pushed the door open, and went inside. The kitchen was fully equipped, just no groceries. Opening the cupboards, there was every flavor of instant noodles imaginable.
A few eggs were even on the windowsill, "No wonder you always have so many weird ideas, I think you’ve been eating instant noodles until you’re crazy."
"Hey, Uncle, can you speak like a normal person?"
Henry Sullivan turned and took the bowl of noodles from her and placed it on the countertop, then walked out of the kitchen, "Let’s go to the supermarket."
Ivy Miller scratched her forehead puzzled, "Why go to the supermarket?"
"To buy groceries, to cook," Henry Sullivan’s tone was not pleasant.
Ivy Miller pouted, if we’re buying groceries to cook, just do it, why be angry, really... what a grumpy guy.
After tidying up a bit, she went out with him.
Ivy Miller didn’t buy a car, so the two took a cab to the nearest hospital.
The apartment she rented wasn’t very close to the city center, and the nearest supermarket was also five kilometers away.
But because it’s far from home, her parents can’t control her, so she feels very comfortable living there.
The two of them arrived at the supermarket, Henry Sullivan walked in front with a stern face, while Ivy Miller followed behind.
After buying seasonings, he went on to buy all kinds of food, chicken, fish, meat, nothing was spared.
At checkout, it cost a total of 1,300 bucks.
He carried two heavy bags in front, Ivy Miller felt guilty and quickly caught up, "Uncle, give me one, I’ll help you carry it."
Henry Sullivan said nothing, Ivy Miller pouted, "Uncle, stop with that grumpy face, I didn’t do anything wrong."
"Then what did you do right?
Going to a bar late at night to mess around with a bunch of people is one thing.
But a girl living in such a remote place doesn’t know how to take care of herself.
The house is fully equipped, yet you don’t even cook.
Are you living so lazily just to wreck your body?
I used to believe what you told me in the army, but it seems like I believed you for nothing," Henry Sullivan stopped and looked at her with displeasure.
