Unable to find him, Susan took out her phone, ready to make a call.
At that moment, a hand gently pressed down on her action.
"Hey! Little reporter!" Lin Feng appeared before Susan with a playful smile.
"Oh! Lin!" Seeing Lin Feng, Susan's eyes welled up again, and she leaped into his embrace.
"Are you alright!" Susan asked, her eyes filled with worry, her small hands patting him all over.
"I'm fine," Lin Feng said, holding her hands and looking into her eyes with a smile.
"Susan," Lin Feng called out.
"Hmm?" Susan lifted her head.
"I have a cat at home that can do backflips, do you want to see?"
"Oh, Lin Feng, you got a cat?" As soon as she spoke, Susan suddenly realized what he meant and her face flushed crimson.
"You're terrible!" Susan exclaimed playfully, "What cat can do backflips!"
"Do you think I don't read the forums from the East!"
Lin Feng, with a thick skin, was not embarrassed. He chuckled, "Then, do you want to see a Superman who can do backflips?"
"What's so great about that? I've seen it many times!" Susan said with a smile in her eyes, not falling for it.
"Okay, okay, actually it's Tony," Lin Feng finally resorted to his last resort.
"Tony said he has a surprise for our first date! Don't you want to see it!"
Susan merely looked at Lin Feng with a knowing smile, not saying a word, as if to say, "Go on."
"A surprise for our first date! The symbol of our beginning!" Lin Feng emphasized, trying to lure her.
Seeing Lin Feng's earnest and slightly anxious expression, Susan stopped teasing him and nodded lightly, "Alright, alright! I'll go see it then!"
This adorable big boy was exactly what she looked for in a partner, and Susan knew what going back with Lin Feng tonight would mean.
