Chapter 16 Space One-Way Ticket! My Cat Can Do a Backflip!

Abomination had no idea how many punches Lin Feng had thrown at it by now.

It was sent flying upwards with each blow, the buildings on the ground shrinking to specks smaller than ants.

The thin oxygen was making its brain increasingly fuzzy.

Seeing that Abomination was barely reacting, Lin Feng stopped punching.

He grabbed Abomination by the heel and swiftly flew towards space.

The monster that destroyed the city would find its final resting place in the cold void of space.

Abomination was beyond saving; darkness was all that awaited it.

Lin Feng's flight speed was incredible, and he soon pierced through the atmosphere, carrying Abomination.

The friction heat turned Abomination's skin a rapid red, and it began to burn.

The intense heat and pain temporarily brought Abomination back to its senses.

"No!"

It looked at Earth with despair, struggling desperately to reach for Lin Feng who held it.

Gradually, Abomination felt its burning skin cool down, growing colder and colder.

A sense of weightlessness arrived, accompanied by suffocation.

Final destination: outer space.

Lin Feng released Abomination, and it immediately floated uncontrollably in the vacuum.

It clawed at its own neck, the feeling of suffocation making its vision blacken once more.

A horrifying maw opened, but no sound could escape.

Abomination's eyes were filled with fear, hatred, and rage.

It could never have imagined that a seemingly ordinary human would leave it utterly defenseless.

The strength of Superman baffled and terrified it. This single experience would cost it its life!

Its powerful physique prevented Abomination from losing consciousness immediately.

But now, its struggling movements grew weaker and weaker; death was merely a matter of time.

Seeing that Abomination seemed to have no breath left, the red glow in Lin Feng's eyes intensified.

A heat vision beam shot out, piercing through Abomination's chest.

How many novels and movies had Lin Feng read and watched? Finishing blows were basic common sense.

He finally rushed forward and delivered one last punch to Abomination.

And so, Abomination's broken body began its long drift through the cosmos…

With Abomination dealt with, Lin Feng's rage had subsided by more than half.

His mood had also improved considerably.

Turning around, he locked onto the brightly lit district.

Lin Feng shot out like a bolt, flying back to Earth.

Flying into space was no more complicated for him than drinking water. While Abomination possessed a powerful physique, it was no match for Superman, not by a long shot.

Lin Feng could survive in space, but Abomination could not.

By the time Lin Feng landed, the Hulk was nowhere to be seen.

After a search using his super-vision and super-hearing, he discovered that the Hulk had already reverted to human form and was being taken away by General Ross.

This was for the best, though it was a shame he couldn't legitimately test his mettle against the Hulk.

If he didn't seek it out, the next time he encountered the Hulk would likely be when Odin's foolish adopted son was causing trouble.

Lin Feng had no intention of deliberately altering the plot of the original story.

He was acutely aware of the terror of the butterfly effect.

With his steel body, fighting Abomination and the Hulk, or Odin's foolish son, was not a problem.

Facing beings like Odin or the Ancient One, Lin Feng's chances of winning were slim.

If the bald sorcerer sealed himself in the Mirror Dimension with a portal, Lin Feng wouldn't even know how to get out!

The crowd on the ground watched Lin Feng return and couldn't help but cheer him on.

"That monster has been dealt with by me!" Lin Feng declared, floating in mid-air, announcing the end of this accidental catastrophe.

"It's safe now, everyone go home as soon as possible."

With those words, amidst the cheers of the crowd, Lin Feng soared into the sky once more.

The damaged streets and injured people would be attended to by professional rescue teams.

The destruction wrought by these two monsters today filled the unsuspecting citizens of New York with a sense of crisis.

However, they were fortunate to have a superhero named Superman!

Quickly darting to a place out of sight, Lin Feng shed his Superman costume and put on his ring.

Instantly, Superman transformed back into the boy next door, someone who wouldn't be recognized even if he brushed past others.

Activating his X-ray vision discreetly, he scanned the city block and finally spotted Susan in a tall building.

Watching Susan slowly walk down from the rooftop, Lin Feng chuckled helplessly.

"A disobedient little reporter."

Lin Feng strode quickly towards Susan's direction. She had seen him fly down, and now the little reporter was looking around for Lin Feng.

Unable to find him, Susan took out her phone, ready to make a call.

At that moment, a hand gently pressed down on her action.

"Hey! Little reporter!" Lin Feng appeared before Susan with a playful smile.

"Oh! Lin!" Seeing Lin Feng, Susan's eyes welled up again, and she leaped into his embrace.

"Are you alright!" Susan asked, her eyes filled with worry, her small hands patting him all over.

"I'm fine," Lin Feng said, holding her hands and looking into her eyes with a smile.

"Susan," Lin Feng called out.

"Hmm?" Susan lifted her head.

"I have a cat at home that can do backflips, do you want to see?"

"Oh, Lin Feng, you got a cat?" As soon as she spoke, Susan suddenly realized what he meant and her face flushed crimson.

"You're terrible!" Susan exclaimed playfully, "What cat can do backflips!"

"Do you think I don't read the forums from the East!"

Lin Feng, with a thick skin, was not embarrassed. He chuckled, "Then, do you want to see a Superman who can do backflips?"

"What's so great about that? I've seen it many times!" Susan said with a smile in her eyes, not falling for it.

"Okay, okay, actually it's Tony," Lin Feng finally resorted to his last resort.

"Tony said he has a surprise for our first date! Don't you want to see it!"

Susan merely looked at Lin Feng with a knowing smile, not saying a word, as if to say, "Go on."

"A surprise for our first date! The symbol of our beginning!" Lin Feng emphasized, trying to lure her.

Seeing Lin Feng's earnest and slightly anxious expression, Susan stopped teasing him and nodded lightly, "Alright, alright! I'll go see it then!"

This adorable big boy was exactly what she looked for in a partner, and Susan knew what going back with Lin Feng tonight would mean.

They had been together for a few months.

Susan felt that her time with Lin Feng had been undoubtedly happy.

By his side, one always felt comfortable and secure.

Moreover, most Eastern boys were very devoted, which undoubtedly put Susan at ease.

Now that they had confirmed their relationship, spending the night together was perfectly reasonable!

"Yes!" Lin Feng exclaimed, clenching his fist in joy. He quickly hugged Susan to express his happiness, then asked, "Shall we head back to the villa now?"

"Wait, Lin! We still have to wait a bit."

"Hmm?"

"I have to finish writing the article for these photos tonight!"

Susan explained, holding up her camera. These photos were time-sensitive; the sooner they were published, the better. If delayed, they would miss out on the initial wave of massive traffic.

"No way!" Lin Feng was stunned. "How long will that take!"

Lin Feng's dumbfounded expression amused Susan.

"Silly, I don't have to do this work myself."

"I've already notified my assistant! She's on her way!" Susan said. "She should be here in about half an hour!"

Lin Feng breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, it would only take half an hour.

Glancing around, Lin Feng spotted a coffee shop, a good place to wait.

"Susan, shall we grab a coffee while we wait?"
