Suddenly surrounding Lan Guye who is protecting his Senior brother Xing Suiri who is in the middle of his meditation, the former didn’t expect that his tower’s Senior Brother would show his true face this way. How could he dare to steal Xing Suiri’s pearls just because he is in the middle of meditation? Doesn’t he fear death? Once Xing Suiri finishes his meditation there is no way these three disciples can defeat him. That is simply seeking death.
Lan Guye asked, " Why are you doing this? Aren’t you afraid that the Sect Master and the elders will notice what you are doing?!"
"Not a problem. We had this area isolated and the outside world only saw wide blue waters without anyone on it~. No matter what happens inside as long as we clean it up properly afterwards, those old men will not find anything~," said Lan Yi.
Lan Guye said, "If Senior Brother Xing wakes up, you will be done for!"
"Ha! You two will be long dead before that happens~" said Lan Yi.
Lan Guye caught them off guard and activated all of the formation he had with him for protection. He knew that his Senior Brother Lan Yi had a higher cultivation realm than he did. So, if they were seriously planning to kill them, he had to buy some time until Senior Brother Xing finished healing.

"To think you have this much defensive formation, the old man truly likes you so much. I am his very first disciple but he has chosen you as his heir. Isn’t that unfair for me? Moreover, how can you be so lucky? Born with such face and talent. You both are like protagonists in your own story. It’s so annoying as hell!" Lan Yi said.
Anger can be seen on this disciple called Lan Yi. His face was distorted with rage and eyes bloodshot while staring as his own Junior Brother, Lan Guye. He tried to destroy the formations and Lan Guye with the other two disciples that chose to follow him. Though it took awhile for them to destroy the formations one at a time, it can still be destroyed after all. This feeling of time running out made Lan Guye’s face turn white.
He glances at XIng Suiri and notices that he will still need a lot of time and chooses to control those formations he had laid out. However, taking control meant that each time a formation was broken it would backfire on him. However, Lan Guye didn’t hesitate as he didn’t want to die and didn’t want his Senior Brother Xing to be caught in his relationship with his tower’s Senior Brother, Lan Yi.
Each time a formation broke, the complexion of Lan Guye turned paler and sometimes puke blood. Seeing this Lan Yi was exhilarated and even intensified his attacks on the formations as they destroyed it. The greater power is used to break the formation the greater backlash Lan Guye had to suffer. Lan Yi seems to have noticed that he intended to protect Xing Suiri with everything he got.

"Are you truly expecting Xin Suiri to save you? I do not know what you two had found but he had overspent his qi. There is no way for him to wake up anytime soon~. Maybe you would die first before that happens. How about giving up instead, Gu’er? I promise to kill you painlessly and second only to that bastard besides you," Lan Yi said.

"In your dreams~" said Lan Guye as he increased the number of formations around him and Xing Suiri even using all the treasures in his body.
Seeing this Lan Yi knew that this Junior Brother of his had no intention of giving up. The moment he saw the treasures his junior brother had activated. Among it is the one he had begged his master to give to him but was declined. This just intensified his rage further and his murderous intent became thicker.
First, Lan Yi showed a shocked expression when he saw the treasure that he took liking of and then his jealousy flared, making his emotions intensified as well.
He mumbles, "In the end, even the things I wanted are given to you by your master. Why is that? Just because you are more talented than I am. Just because you broke to Yuanying before turning 100 years old. Why? Why? Why the hell did I even bring you back with me?! I regret it! I should have just killed you instead."
Lan Guye was stunned with the words his Senior Brother had just said. It needed Lan Yi who had picked him up from his small village and saved him from being bullied. It was also him who brought him back to the Starfield Sect and begged his master to take him in.
That’s why he had worked so hard to cultivate. All because he wanted to repay him. He also wanted to enter this dungeon because he wanted to find a treasure to help him breakthrough into another level. Why is it that everything he had done just caused his savior pain. Maybe, he doesn’t deserve to be saved by him after all.
The light in Lan Guye’s eyes faded and controlled most of the formation to protect Xing Suiri instead. Lan Guye chose to leave himself vulnerable. The other two disciples noticed this and temporarily halted their actions as they didn’t know if it was a trap or something else. Only Lan Yi didn’t notice as he completely let himself fall into hatred.
That’s why when he noticed that the power of the formation had waned a lot he used his most powerful attack to destroy all the barrier and kill the controller of it which is Lan Guye. His sword stabbed through Lan Guye’s body making Lan Yi delighted in his madness. However, when he heard a small cough and warm blood splashes on his face, Lan Yi’s madness receded as he looked at his Junior Brother.
Cough!
Lan Guye’s expression was a bit neutral between pain and relief.
He said, "This life... you have saved... before. I know... return it to you, gege."
A small smile at the corner of his face and eyes fading into a lifeless one, Lan Yi slowly closed his eyes. In the last few seconds of his life, Lan Yi wanted to catch Lan Guye’s falling body and memories of when the latter was still alive flashes within his mind. His tears unconsciously fall on his face.
"GU..."
Someone had kicked him away and took Lan Guye’s body from him. It was Xing Suiri who opened his eyes and witnessed the scene of Lan Yi killing his own Junior Brother. With anger imprinted on his face, he stares at the three men who wanted to kill them both.
"You dare to kill someone from the same sect!?" Xing Suiri said with an icy tone of voice, "None of you shall escape!"
Chains covered in runes with the same effect of immortal ropes appeared in his hand and waved them to instantly capture the three disciples of the Starfield Sect that dared to kill their own. Only two among the three had started struggling under the constraints of these chains, Lan Yi on the other hand couldn’t move his eyes from Lan Guye in blood within the arms of Xing Suiri.
Head Disciple of the Starfield Sect, Xing Suiri checked the situation of Lan Guye and noticed that he was dying. He carried him away with one hand and the others dragged by chains. He flew towards where his master and elders were with urgency.
On the way, he threw the storage pouch filled with Water evading pearls towards the storeboard and a certain number of points were listed under his and Lan Guye’s name.
Meanwhile at the restaurant, Sect Master Xing Kunlun was in the mood when he saw his disciple coming over, that was until he saw Lan Guye covered in blood and three other disciples in chains and dragged over by his own disciple.
Sect Master Xing Kunlun said, "Sui’er completed the minor trials already?"
"No, something is wrong!" The Supreme Elder of the Starfield Sect, Xia Lianyu said.
Grandma Su covered her mouth and exclaimed, "Isn’t that the youngest disciple of the First Elder?!!"
"Master! Please save him!" Xing Suiri said as soon as he landed.
Everyone from the Starfield Sect surrounded the disciples who had come over. Sect Master Xing Kunlun and Supreme Elder Xia Lianyu checked on Lan Guye who was not only covered in blood but also about to die.
Xia Lianyu commented, "A stab wound that passed through the heart! Who is that malicious to do such a damn thing!?"
"This is the First Elder’s young disciple, Lan Guye. Who did this, Sui’er?" Sect Master Xing Kunlun asked.
Xing Suiri pulled the three men he captured and said, "These guys! They wanted to kill me and Lan Shidi. But I was injured exploring underwater and asked Lan Shidi to protect me. When I opened my eyes I saw Lan-Shixiong stabbing Lan-Shidi."
As expected when the three elders of the Starfield Sect heard about this they were shocked and couldn’t help but exclaimed.
"They wanted to kill!"
