Chapter 357 Written at the End

The book did pretty well, much better than I imagined before I started writing.

I think my skill level is average, and most of the success is due to the support of the readers.

If I kept writing, there would definitely be a lot more to write about: Arsenal's Premier League undefeated record, Milan's European undefeated record.

European Golden Shoe, World Football Best Team, Ballon d'Or.

European Super Cup, Club World Cup, Sextuple.

Plus the Community Shield for a septuple achievement.

And the World Cup qualifiers, World Cup.

If I kept writing another million words or so, I could earn a decent income.

It's not that the book ended because it wasn't making money, nor was it dropped, but I just felt there wasn't much point in continuing.

The greatest honor for a player is the World Cup and the Champions League.

I already have the Champions League, but I really don't have the courage to write about the World Cup.

Even though we have the strongest sense of collective honor and national pride in the world, I really don't dare to write about winning the World Cup.

As for writing about a heartbreaking elimination from the World Cup?

That's even more impossible. Novels are meant to fulfill dreams. If I can't even win in a novel, what's the point of me writing it?

So I simply won't write about the World Cup.

There are so many regrets in reality, it's really too much to have regrets in novels too.

I think the greatest happiness is to end at the climax.

So this book ends directly after winning the Champions League, without even writing about the impact after winning, or the various reactions of the audience and coaches.

I think this is the best way.

I can see everyone's short comments and chapter reviews in the background. Thank you for your interaction.

Encouragement and criticism are both forms of support.

I didn't reply because I'm too lazy.

Soccer is my dream, so I wrote this book.

At first, I didn't think about making money, it was just an idea, to fulfill a dream.

Later, I didn't earn much, but it was definitely more than I imagined.

So, I still have to thank everyone.

I will write sports novels in the future, definitely will, but for now, I'm going to write something in another genre.

Because sports novels are really hard to write. Liking soccer doesn't mean you know everything about it. You have to look up a lot of information.

I'm really a bit tired, and the passion has lessened. I need to shift my focus.

Then, I also want to talk about the issue of idols.

When it comes to soccer, the two people who are indispensable are Messi and Ronaldo.

Messi fans and Messi haters, Ronaldo fans and Ronaldo haters. They have a huge market.

I'm not a fan of Messi or Ronaldo, and I have no intention of being a fan or a hater of these two excellent players.

I write books mostly to make up for my own regrets. Because of the issue of the protagonist joining the national team, many people dropped the book, but I still wrote it.

So if I were a fan of one of these two, I would not hesitate to express my views in the book, take a stand like crazy, and trample on the other. My writing would inevitably have strong personal subjective colors, so as to attract a group of like-minded fans.

Unfortunately, I really don't feel anything for these two.

If I really had to choose, I should like Messi a little more, because he is a disciple of Guardiola.

Yes, I only have one soccer idol, Guardiola.

Because of Guardiola, I like Barcelona, I like Bayern Munich, I like Manchester City.

At the end of this book, I also let Guardiola defeat Barcelona and Bayern Munich, and ascend to the top of Europe.

In reality, Barcelona and Bayern Munich were all lackluster in the 16-17 season, and Real Madrid defeated Juventus to win the Champions League.

Finally, I would like to thank the readers who were able to see this. We will probably see each other again in the future. I will write sports novels again in the future, but not now. I need to take some time to recharge.

The martial world is vast, we'll meet again if fate allows.
