Chapter 32: The preparation 2 (Party of Death)
Minato dragged and placed the box on the small plastic table by the side of the bed. "Go on, open it. Let’s see if I got your size right," he said, looking at her.
Amelia tilted her head before standing up from the bed. "Alright," she murmured, walking up to the box. With a nonchalant look, she tore open the box carefully and pulled out the folded pieces of clothing... dark jeans, a slim white top, and a light red jacket that matched her eyes perfectly.
Her eyebrows lifted slightly. "This... actually looks nice."
"Of course it does," Minato said, leaning back on the bed with a grin. "I’ve got taste."
"Hmph," she scoffed, holding the outfit against herself and looking down. "It’s softer than I expected..."
"Come on, try it on," Minato said, expecting an answer.
"I was going to... but not here."
"Why not?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.
Amelia gave him a cold glare, then sighed and turned around, walking toward the bedroom. She didn’t say another word, just quietly closed the door behind her.
Minato stared at the door for a moment, then muttered under his breath, "Seriously? It’s not like I haven’t already seen everything..."
He leaned his back against the wall, shaking his head with a confused look. "God... I don’t understand women..."
A few minutes later, the door opened again... and for a brief second, he forgot how to speak.
Amelia stood there, dressed neatly in the clothes he’d ordered. The outfit fit perfectly, highlighting her graceful curves and figure without overdoing it. She turned slightly, tugging at the jacket sleeve. "How do I look?"
Minato blinked twice, lost in thoughts and imagination, before he finally cleared his throat. "You look... really beautiful."
"Thank you," she exclaimed, her eyes watery in the moment.
He rubbed his neck awkwardly, adding to the compliment. "You really look amazing."
Amelia’s lips curved into a little smile. "Hmm..."
She brushed past him to grab her hair clip, though Minato could have sworn he caught the faintest hint of pinkness on her cheeks.
Immediately, Minato’s phone vibrated in his pocket. He glanced down... It’s a message from Yuto.

Minato held his phone in his hands and muttered, "Idiot," rubbing the back of his neck.
Then turned toward Amelia, his phone still in hand. Amelia was standing by the bathroom doorway, taking off the newly bought red jacket.
He blinked once, then twice. "Actually... don’t change."
She frowned, confused. "Don’t change?"
"Yeah," he said, sliding his phone into his pocket and standing up. "We’re going to the party now. No point wasting time."
Her red eyes narrowed slightly. "Now? You didn’t even say when we’d be leaving."
"I didn’t know either," he replied with a small shrug. "But my friend just texted. The party’s already started."
Quickly, he pulled off his shirt right in front of Amelia. She wanted to say something, but didn’t. Her cheeks flushed pink as she tried desperately not to look, yet she couldn’t help sneaking glances from the corner of her red eye.
Minato, however, remained unfazed. They had sex and seen each other naked before, so for him, it wasn’t a big deal.
Seconds later, Minato was fully dressed in his blue hoodie. He grabbed his phone, checking quickly to make sure he hadn’t forgotten anything... wallet, keys, phone, everything was accounted for. His eyes drifted towards Amelia, standing beside him, and a mischievous thought sparked in his mind.
Without warning, he reached out and grabbed her hands. Amelia stiffened, and her ears instantly became pink. A shiver ran through her whole body, and her eyes widened for a split second.
"Hey... I understand if you’re nervous... but I’m here, okay," he explained quietly, his tone steady and reassuring.
"I-I’m not... nervous," she started, but her voice trailed off as she let herself be guided. Her heart raced faster than usual, and she could feel the warmth of his palms seeping through her own.
Minato gently squeezed her hands, letting the contact linger as they stepped outside. The evening air was really cold, carrying the city smells... exhaust, street food, and the distant perfume of passing people.
He locked the door behind them, the click adjusting the bolt slightly, and then they made their way down the staircase, stopping an almost moving taxi.
Minato then opened the door for her. Amelia slid in gracefully, but her hands instinctively tightened against his as he followed behind her.
The contact sent another small shiver through her, and she quickly adjusted, resting her head lightly on his shoulder.
"Where to?" the driver asked, glancing briefly in the rearview mirror.
Eastern Commercial Zone 4. Shibuya University," Minato replied, trying to sound casual, but he noticed her fingers curling slightly around his palm.
Amelia let out a soft, contented sigh, her eyelashes brushing against his arm. He could feel the warmth radiating from her... a quiet reminder of how fragile women can be, or rather, how she was, even if she wasn’t exactly that type.
After a few minutes, the taxi stopped in front of Shibuya University’s main gate. Amelia stepped out first, adjusting her red jacket.
"Minato, I think you need to see this," she said, her voice tense but controlled.
"I’m coming," he replied, paying the driver from inside the taxi.
As he stepped out onto the campus, his eyes widened. In the distance, opposite the university, a massive portal glowed purple ominously... far bigger than Portal 1. The swirling energy sent a shiver down his spine.

Portal 2... at my university? Minato’s eyes widened in disbelief.
"Minato... my boy, you made it!" a familiar voice called out from the far end.
He turned to see Yuto walking toward the gate, holding a bottle of alcohol and waving enthusiastically.
Despite the enormous portal nearby, students moved freely around the campus, enjoying the party.
Music was blaring from speakers set up near the university’s outdoor stage. Groups of people laughed, drank, and mingled, holding plates of snacks and colorful cups of drinks.
