The morning started with Fu Jingshu wanting to go to work, but he was held back by Lu Wan Ying.
She kept saying she wasn't feeling well, but when asked, she couldn't pinpoint the exact location, only clutching her chest and sitting listlessly on the sofa.
Fu Jingshu had no choice; he couldn't just abandon her.
Meanwhile, Shen Qing Qing arrived at the kindergarten. Upon hearing from the teacher, she learned that someone had somehow infiltrated the premises and secretly abducted Chen Chen.
By the time the teachers realized the child was missing, half an hour had already passed.
The teachers had also called the police. After the police arrived, they immediately reviewed the surveillance footage. They discovered the abductor was heavily disguised and disappeared two streets away from the kindergarten.
This was because the surveillance cameras in the area were broken and hadn't been repaired yet.

Although still somewhat blurry, it was possible to identify the abductor's appearance and Chen Chen, who was being carried on their shoulder.
The child appeared limp, his small hands hanging loosely. Shen Qing Qing's expression hardened further, certain that the person had used some method to drug the child.
The surveillance footage showed the abductor entering a parking lot with the child.
The police immediately rushed out, with Shen Qing Qing hot on their heels. The ten-minute drive felt incredibly long. As they finally reached the parking lot, she was the first to open her car door and sprint out.
The police followed closely behind.
This was an old parking lot with no surveillance. They had to resort to the most basic method: searching separately. The parking lot was vast.
With six police officers and Shen Qing Qing, seven people searched for nearly half an hour with no success.

But she clearly saw Lu Wan Ying give her a triumphant smile in a place Fu Jingshu couldn't see.
