"Hello?" It was his work phone, and the few people who knew the number were all related to his work.
But after he answered, there was a long silence on the other end, with rustling sounds coming from the earpiece.

The person on the other end had a booming voice and was exceptionally enthusiastic. He launched into a lengthy, unfocused introduction, starting with his own name.
After listening for a few sentences, Qin Ningyi dismissed him and ended the call.
He disliked being disturbed, so his work phone number wasn't easily shared. This caller wasn't a business partner, and upon arriving at the company, he would need to ask Xiao Konglin what was going on.
As Qin Ningyi pondered, the equipment lights in a car behind them flickered slightly.

"Mmm," Qin Ningyi cautioned, "Maintain confidentiality."
New material suppliers were different from their long-term partners; before establishing a connection, it was all about mutual benefit. If this list were leaked, it could easily be exploited.
"I reminded them. After the recent incident, the safety center held a training session, and everyone's safety awareness has improved."
As they were speaking, the new material suppliers arrived.
