Walking into the cinema, I often saw residents of the territory going in to watch movies. Zhou Yan checked today's movies and found one that greatly appealed to him.
That was "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber: The Demon Cult Master." After some thought, he decided to embark on a journey into this movie world.
Moreover, this movie contained many treasures.
Both the Heaven Sword and the Dragon Saber were excellent weapons.
Coupled with the "Nine Yang Divine Skill," various martial arts styles, and crucially, the "Nine Yin Manual" and the "Book of Wumu" hidden within the Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber, these were all things he desired.
Of course, those two weapons were only considered decent within the confines of the movie world. If placed in the Lord's world, it was uncertain if they could even surpass a spiritual artifact.
He arrived at the screening hall and directly teleported into the movie world.
He found himself transported to a town, which should have been at the foot of Mount Wudang.
He saw a carriage in the distance, next to which were Zhang Cui Shan and Yin Su Su, along with Zhang Wu Ji, who was eating a candied hawthorn.
Zhang Wu Ji was still very young at this time, appearing innocent and naive.
But he looked at himself and let out a surprised exclamation. He discovered that he was now about the same size as Zhang Wu Ji.
Would he have to grow up slowly like Zhang Wu Ji?
However, he did notice that all his strength remained; only his age was young.
"I didn't expect it to turn out like this, but it's fine." Zhou Yan decided to take things as they came.
He soon saw the Xuan Ming Elders charging towards Zhang Cui Shan and his companions, injuring the two.
Zhou Yan knew this was a necessary plot point and continued to observe the unfolding events.
Zhang San Feng soon arrived and rescued Zhang Wu Ji from the Xuan Ming Elders. Unfortunately, Zhang Wu Ji still took a palm strike, leaving him feeling hot and cold, extremely uncomfortable.
Zhou Yan felt that he should enter Wudang now.
Thus, Zhou Yan appeared before Zhang San Feng and said, "I just saw the Xuan Ming Elders strike him. I have a pill here that should be able to alleviate his pain."
"A pill?" The others looked at Zhou Yan, a little surprised. However, Zhang San Feng quickly examined the pill. Nodding to Zhang Cui Shan and Yin Su Su, he said, "This pill is very peculiar. I can't tell what it's made of, but it should be effective."
Yin Su Su, eager to save her son, quickly gave it to Zhang Wu Ji.
Before long, the pill took effect, and Zhang Wu Ji said, "I feel much better."
Zhang Cui Shan and Yin Su Su quickly thanked Zhou Yan, "Thank you very much. How did you obtain this pill?"
Zhou Yan replied, "My parents were also killed by the Xuan Ming Elders, so I recognized them immediately. This pill can only relieve the pain; it cannot completely eliminate the Xuan Ming Divine Palm."
Afterward, Zhou Yan said to Zhang San Feng, "Venerable Zhang, I wish to join Wudang. After learning martial arts, I can avenge my parents and also concoct pills to help him alleviate his suffering. Please agree."
Zhang San Feng quickly looked at Zhou Yan and was overjoyed. He discovered that Zhou Yan was a rare martial arts prodigy. Even he had no excellent treatment methods for the Xuan Ming Divine Palm.
"The Xuan Ming Elders are truly despicable. Rest assured, you will stay in Wudang from now on. I will accept you as my eighth disciple and teach you personally." Zhang San Feng was extremely pleased.
Although he had seven disciples, their aptitudes were generally mediocre, making it difficult for them to become top experts. With this new disciple, he believed Wudang would produce a supreme master in the future.
"Thank you, Master," Zhou Yan said quickly.
"Indeed, you are clever. What is your name?" Zhang San Feng was delighted.
"My name is Zhou Yan," Zhou Yan replied.
"Good, let us ascend the mountain now!"
Zhang San Feng then took Zhou Yan and the others up the mountain.
Zhang San Feng subsequently announced the acceptance of a disciple, much to the astonishment of the entire Wudang sect. They had not expected Zhang San Feng to take another disciple on his hundredth birthday.
Soon after, a Wudang disciple reported that the five major sects – Shaolin, Emei, Kongtong, Huashan, and Kunlun – intended to use the birthday celebration as a pretext to pressure Zhang Cui Shan into revealing the whereabouts of the Golden Lion King Xie Xun.
The entire Wudang sect went out to confront the five major sects. Emei's Abbess Miejue also began to interrogate Zhang Cui Shan and his wife.
A fight ensued. Zhang Cui Shan and his wife were naturally no match for Abbess Miejue. It was only when Zhang San Feng intervened that he repelled Miejue and seized her Heaven Sword, placing it on a statue in Wudang.
Finally, Zhang Cui Shan and his wife were forced to their deaths. Before dying, they told Zhang Wu Ji: "The more beautiful a woman is, the more deceitful she is."
Afterward, the five major sects left, and the entire Wudang sect began preparations for the couple's funeral.
Zhou Yan successfully became Zhang San Feng's disciple, completed the discipleship ceremony, and began to be personally taught Wudang martial arts.
Zhou Yan's talent was extraordinary. At a young age, he learned the Wudang Sword Technique and comprehended almost all of Zhang San Feng's lifelong teachings, making Zhang San Feng extremely happy.
"Congratulations, Uncle-Master Zhou Yan. You are truly amazing. Even Grandmaster praises you."
Zhang Wu Ji was very envious of Zhou Yan, who received so much affection. Unlike him, whose parents were forced to death, he also had to endure the pain caused by the Xuan Ming Divine Palm.
If not for Zhou Yan's pill, he would likely still be suffering endless torment.
"Don't worry, things will get better in the future," Zhou Yan said.
The movie world's plot progressed rapidly. Zhou Yan soon spent seven years there. During this time, his cultivation never stopped. He practiced daily, using all the resources he had brought with him.
His realm had already broken through to the sixtieth heaven of martial arts. If it weren't for the insufficient spiritual energy in this world and the fact that the energy he needed for breakthroughs was ten times that of others, his realm might have been even higher.
In seven years, he and Zhang Wu Ji had also become friends, and he had always protected Zhang Wu Ji in Wudang. If not for him, Zhang Wu Ji would have been severely bullied by Song Qingshu and the others.
Seven years passed, and the plot began to move forward again.
The Emei sect sent Zhou Zhiruo to retrieve the sword. Zhang San Feng said to Zhou Zhiruo, "Since you are here, stay for a few days. Let my junior disciple, Zhou Yan, teach you a set of Wudang Sword Technique as a return gift."
This task would have originally fallen to Zhang San Feng or Song Yuanqiao, but due to his arrival, Zhang San Feng felt Zhou Yan was more suitable.
"Zhou Yan?" Zhou Zhiruo was indeed beautiful, but she asked with a hint of confusion, "When did Grandmaster accept another disciple?"
"That was a disciple I accepted seven years ago. His age is similar to yours, so communication should be easier," Zhang San Feng replied.
"Zhou Yan, for the next few days, you will diligently teach Zhou Zhiruo the sword technique," Zhang San Feng instructed.
Zhou Yan stepped forward and said to Zhang San Feng, "Yes, Master."
Zhou Zhiruo looked at the heroic and peerless Zhou Yan, feeling happy in her heart. She quickly said, "Thank you, Venerable Zhang. Zhiruo will certainly learn diligently."
Then, Zhou Zhiruo smiled sweetly and said to Zhou Yan, "Please, Senior Brother Zhou Yan, teach me well."
This version of Zhou Zhiruo was not as good as in other versions. To describe her in one sentence: she was a scheming beauty.
However, I like women like that.
"That is natural," Zhou Yan replied, smiling at her.
Although this Zhou Zhiruo was currently calculating, she was still beautiful. He had to save these women, preventing them from falling into the hands of villains.
He realized he was truly a good person.
