Chapter 354 The Method of Feeding Medicine

Nan Ziyun refused him decisively, but could Yu Jingchen listen to her? Other matters aside, this was something she wouldn't even consider.

Yu Jingchen drank the medicine himself, then looked at Nan Ziyun. Nan Ziyun was bewildered.

The next moment, just as she was about to speak, Yu Jingchen leaned in and, mouth to mouth, transferred the medicine to her. Nan Ziyun's eyes widened.

A bitter taste spread in her mouth. Nan Ziyun tried to push Yu Jingchen away, but Yu Jingchen released her. He then gazed at Nan Ziyun and saw her cover her mouth.

"Your Majesty..." Nan Ziyun was still finding it hard to accept.

"Will you drink it yourself now?" Yu Jingchen asked her.

Alright, it was a blatant threat! An undisguised threat!!!

Nan Ziyun picked up the medicine bowl, looking at it with reluctance as she drank the entire bowl. Good heavens, she almost threw up after drinking it.

"That's more like it, just drinking medicine," Yu Jingchen was satisfied. He took the bowl. Nan Ziyun couldn't hold on and naturally slumped into Yu Jingchen's arms, feeling dizzy and wanting to vomit...

"Your Majesty..." Nan Ziyun felt unwell.

"Shall I carry you out for a stroll?" Yu Jingchen tried to alleviate her discomfort.

Nan Ziyun nodded. Yu Jingchen didn't hesitate, picking Nan Ziyun up from himself. Nan Ziyun wrapped her arms around Yu Jingchen's neck and buried her head in his neck.

Yu Jingchen held her with one arm, letting her sit on his forearm, while his other hand supported her waist. He asked someone to bring a rabbit fur cape to wrap Nan Ziyun snugly before carrying her out.

The air outside was pleasant. Coming out for some fresh air was a good thing. Touched by the gentle breeze, Nan Ziyun felt a little better.

"Do you feel any better?" Yu Jingchen asked her.

"Dizzy," Nan Ziyun replied.

"I see you've caught a chill. You haven't rested well these past two days, you were startled, and you've been sweating all day, which is why you're sick," Yu Jingchen told her.

"It's all Your Majesty's fault..." Nan Ziyun could say such things now. Yu Jingchen smiled. It was indeed his fault; he was in the wrong.

"Yes, it's all my fault, my mistake," Yu Jingchen went along with Nan Ziyun's words.

"When will I get better?" Nan Ziyun was fed up.

"Drink your medicine, rest well, eat your meals obediently, and you'll be better tomorrow," Yu Jingchen comforted her. Nan Ziyun just listened.

"Will Your Majesty go to court tomorrow?" Nan Ziyun asked him.

"I'm afraid I won't be able to go tomorrow, so I won't bother. I'll stay with you, alright?" Yu Jingchen felt that given today's situation, those ministers would definitely not be able to come tomorrow. Besides, as previously agreed, the court was adjourned for five days, and tomorrow was still one of those days.

"Shall we walk around?" Yu Jingchen asked her.

"Am I very heavy? Are you tired, Your Majesty?" Nan Ziyun felt comfortable but still asked.

"Yun'er is very light, so you need to eat more in the future," Yu Jingchen leaned close to Nan Ziyun, their noses touching intimately. Nan Ziyun smiled happily.

"I eat a lot." Nan Ziyun tilted her head slightly. Yu Jingchen glanced at her and, the next moment, loosened his grip.

The sudden sensation of weightlessness made Nan Ziyun cry out, "Ah!" startled. However, Yu Jingchen simply shifted his position.
