"Are you a virgin?" he asked again.
Mianmian turned and slapped him across the face, saying angrily, "Can you just shut up! You pervert!"
Just as she had suspected, he wasn't a good person. He even knew about sticking his tongue out during a kiss! How many girls had he kissed before to know that? He was truly shameless!
Yun Buji's face darkened instantly as he was struck. He raised his hand to hit back. He had never been slapped in the face in his life. Seeing this, Mianmian flinched, shrinking her neck and looking at him nervously, "What... what are you going to do!"
"You're the first person who dared to hit my face!" Yun Buji looked at the little girl in front of him, unable to bring himself to strike. After a moment, he angrily lowered his hand.
Mianmian felt truly wronged and almost cried. She glared at him, wanting to slap him again but not daring to, afraid he would really hit her.
As they stood in a stalemate, someone suddenly ran towards them. Yun Buji's first instinct was to pull Mianmian behind him to protect her.
When he saw who it was, he finally breathed a sigh of relief. They were his people. He hid Mianmian further behind him.
"Brother Yun, are you okay?" Zhou Hao ran over with a few others, all looking at him anxiously.
"Yun Buji, how are you? Didn't get crippled, did you?" a girl with short red hair and metal accessories asked him with deep concern in her eyes.
Mianmian peeked her little head out to look at the newcomers. She felt a little nervous. She had never interacted with people like them before. They looked young, and clearly involved in shady dealings.
The girl was pretty cool too.
At this moment, everyone noticed Mianmian. A beautiful little princess with long, exquisitely managed hair like satin, wearing a school uniform. She looked exceptionally good, so well-behaved and adorable.
"Huh, isn't that..." Zhou Hao of course recognized Mianmian. He remembered when Brother Yun had suddenly declared he wanted to eat expensive stuff like KFC, and ended up sharing a table with this young lady.
Later, he had even given her all the food he bought.
He still hadn't understood what Brother Yun was up to.
"Yun Buji, who is she?" Zhao Mai asked suspiciously, looking at the small figure behind Yun Buji. Her eyes held a hint of hostility.
As she spoke, she reached out to hook Yun Buji's arm, acting as if to claim ownership.
The others lowered their heads awkwardly or avoided looking.
Mianmian frowned, feeling a strange discomfort in her heart. She didn't know why. She said, "I'm going back to class now."
"I'll go back to school with you," Yun Buji pushed Mai Zi's hand away and said. "I'll take her back first. You guys be careful too."
He turned and walked with Mianmian. Mai Zi, unwilling to give up, tried to follow but was pulled back by Zhou Hao. "She's just a kid. Don't be jealous. Let's go, don't upset Brother Yun."
Zhou Hao could see Yun Buji's unusual attention towards this little princess, but the little princess lived in a castle and was destined to be from a different world than them.
Brother Yun was such a rational person, he would surely know what he was doing.
"Who was that girl?" Mai Zi asked with a frown. Although she had been hanging out with Yun Buji and his crew, she was still a bit afraid of him. His temper was unpredictable, and he could turn on them in an instant.
"Probably just a junior. You know what kind of person Brother Yun is. He can't stand seeing the strong bully the weak. He was probably just protecting that junior from those guys who were causing trouble," Zhou Hao explained, making excuses for Yun Buji.
