Chapter 953 It's inconvenient to share a table, please feel free to help yourselves

After reviewing the last one, Jiang Yan felt that the three kindergartens each had their pros and cons, but they were all quite good. Jiang Yan couldn't decide and finally left the choice to Jian Yi.

"I'll listen to Mom. Whichever one Mom chooses, I'll go to," Jian Yi said without hesitation.

Jiang Yan looked at the little one with a mix of amusement and helplessness and said, "How about we choose the one closest to home? I think that one is pretty good, and they teach everything comprehensively."

"Okay, I'll listen to Mom." Jian Yi immediately nodded. The little one's most frequent phrase these days was "I'll listen to Mom."

Jiang Yan's heart felt a complex mix of emotions. Was this what it felt like to have a child? To be trusted and relied upon completely, body and soul. This feeling was truly good and wonderful.

"Alright, I'll arrange for the enrollment procedures for our baby and pick up the uniforms later," Jin Lan also felt that being closer to home was better.

And so, the three of them happily made their decision.

At noon, Jin Lan took the mother and daughter out to eat. They had Western food, as it offered more options for children and was healthier.

After the meal, Jin Lan finalized the kindergarten enrollment. The three of them decided to visit the school again to see the classroom and the teacher, to get acquainted with the place beforehand.

The teacher enthusiastically led the three of them to tour the classroom. Each class had ten children, and including the homeroom teacher, there were a total of five teachers.

Upon seeing Jian Yi, the children's eyes widened as they stared at her, finding her like a doll in a display window. One enthusiastic child directly reached out to hold Jian Yi's hand and led her around the classroom.

Jian Yi was a little shy at first but gradually relaxed, though her gaze would occasionally dart towards her parents.

After the tour, the homeroom teacher gave the two of them the school uniforms. There were twenty sets of clothes for all four seasons. Jiang Yan held Jian Yi, Jin Lan carried the uniforms, and the family of three headed home.

The school uniforms were sent to the dry cleaners to be washed and would be returned the next day. Jiang Yan also bought a lot of school supplies for Jian Yi online.

In the evening, Jin Lan announced that he had booked a restaurant for dinner. Jiang Yan had no objections, and Jian Yi listened to her mother; wherever Mom went, she would go, so obedient it was heartbreaking.

While the family of three was eating, they encountered the person Jiang Yan least wanted to see: Jiang Huan and Chu Yu. Ever since they got married, Jiang Yan hadn't returned home. This awkward relationship became even more so when they ran into each other. However, Jiang Huan and Chu Yu seemed unfazed and kept approaching her.

Jiang Huan was currently doing nothing, living off Chu Yu's support. Chu Yu gave her a monthly allowance of 100,000 yuan to spend as she pleased, so Jiang Huan was living quite comfortably.

Seeing Jiang Yan, Jiang Huan felt displeased and turned to leave. However, Chu Yu stopped her and insisted on pulling her over to their table.

"Uncle, Yan Yan, what a coincidence meeting you here. Who is this child?" Chu Yu had known for a while that his mother had adopted a child for them. He had expected Jiang Yan, with her personality, to abandon the child. He hadn't expected her to bring the child to a restaurant, and they seemed to be getting along quite well.

His eyes darkened slightly. It seemed he had underestimated Jiang Yan's resilience.

"Sharing a table would be inconvenient. Please do as you wish," Jiang Yan said indifferently.

"Xiao Yu, you two go eat elsewhere," Jin Lan also directly issued a polite dismissal.

"Just because you want us to leave, we'll leave? I insist on eating with you," Jiang Huan said, pulling out a chair and sitting down, adopting a stubborn and shameless demeanor, showing no intention of leaving.
