His original plan was to kill Jin Lan first, then let Jin Qing die of illness, so that the Jin family would belong to him. If Jin Lan didn't die, even if Jin Qing died, he wouldn't inherit the entire fortune. He might not be able to contend with that brat Jin Lan.
Jin Lan frowned. "My sister isn't feeling well. It's one thing that you, as her husband, don't care, but you want to stop her from having a full physical without knowing anything? Are you hiding something from us?"

"She has time now, doesn't she? I'm not just going to give her a full physical; I'm going to have all the department heads at the hospital consult on her case! Chu Weixian, if I find anything wrong, you'd better be prepared to die!" Jin Lan said coldly and hung up the phone.
He felt Chu Weixian's attitude was off. Even though he knew Chu Weixian didn't truly love his sister, his reaction to her coming to the hospital for a check-up was too abnormal, as if he were afraid she'd be examined.
Was this scumbag Chu Weixian, with his wolfish ambition, hoping his sister would be in poor health?
