"Your maternal uncle?" Jiang Huan frowned, looking at the man in front of her.
"Yes, Jin Lan is my maternal uncle," Chu Yu explained.
Jiang Huan studied the man carefully and asked, "Are you telling the truth?"
"What's there to lie about? What did you do to him? Provoke him to the point of violence?" Chu Yu found it hard to believe that his maternal uncle would hit a woman who looked so delicate.
From his understanding of Jin Lan, unless this person had done something particularly heinous, someone like his maternal uncle would not resort to violence.
"I am my girlfriend's older sister. I was just kindly bringing him food, who knew he was so sick in the head, going mad like that?" Jiang Huan, feeling humiliated, spoke with particular venom.
"You said you are Jiang Yan's sister?" Chu Yu looked at her with surprise, then fell into thought.
"Yes, what's there to lie about? My own sister!" Jiang Huan asserted.
"Do you have time now? Let's talk."
"What do you want?" Jiang Huan eyed the man warily.
"I am Jiang Yan's ex-boyfriend," Chu Yu stated.
Jiang Huan froze completely, scarcely believing it. "Jiang Yan, and you're her ex-boyfriend? Are all the men in your family blind? They all seem to fall for her."
"Let's go, this isn't a place to talk." Chu Yu had been called by his father to visit his mother, but he hadn't expected to meet Jiang Yan's sister. He changed his mind; he wanted to talk to her.
It was clear that her relationship with Jiang Yan was not good, and she had even tried to seduce his uncle. Otherwise, given his uncle's temperament, he wouldn't have resorted to violence.
The fact that he had resorted to violence showed how shameless she had been.
Chu Yu also disliked such women, but he needed to ally with her now because he had never given up on Jiang Yan.
If she had gotten together with another man after their breakup, he might not have been so angry, but that man was Jin Lan, his maternal uncle. How could he be content with that?
Jiang Huan also sensed an opportunity and even picked up on the implied meaning in his words. Talking to him wouldn't hurt.
The two found a secluded coffee shop.
Jiang Huan asked, "You still like my sister?"
"I do. I never thought of giving up on her," Chu Yu said frankly. He had never completely forgotten Jiang Yan, nor had he considered giving up. He had been thinking of ways and looking for opportunities to win her back.
"What's so great about her? Average looks, average personality... Forget it, tell me what you want to do." Jiang Huan couldn't be bothered to criticize the taste of these men anymore. She only wanted Jin Lan.
"You like my maternal uncle?" Chu Yu inquired.
"Yes, I want to have him!" Jiang Huan didn't hide it. She could sense that Jin Lan, his nephew, was not on good terms with Chu Yu. If they were both rivals in love, perhaps Chu Yu could help her get Jin Lan.
"I want Jiang Yan. Let's cooperate."
"I agree. How do we cooperate?" Jiang Huan and Chu Yu hit it off immediately, looking at each other with excitement.
"We'll pretend to be in a relationship. That way, they'll have nothing to say. I can approach Jiang Yan legitimately, and you can approach my uncle legitimately," Chu Yu said after some thought.
"This plan is perfect. Don't worry, I can definitely win over your maternal uncle. He will be mine!" Jiang Huan was full of confidence.
"With him kicking you, I doubt that. I think you'd have a better chance if you approached him from other angles. For example, try to win his heart first, or get pregnant with his child," Chu Yu thought this woman was too naive.
