Qi Fan felt that Ye Wan was smart enough to treat such people as air, otherwise, she would only upset herself. So, she also put on her earphones like Ye Wan and listened to music, feeling that listening to this person's nonsense was a waste of her time.
Although her colleagues envied Qi Fan for being able to fly first class, they thought about their relationship with Ye Wan and no longer dwelled on it, even though their waists were aching from sitting in economy class.
The car soon arrived at the State Guesthouse, and the rooms were all arranged. Ye Wan and Qi Fan were to share a room. Qi Fan was particularly happy to help Ye Wan unpack. Sharing a room with Qi Fan was better. Ye Wan's pregnancy would likely not remain a secret from her roommate, and she didn't want others to know. If Qi Fan knew, it would be fine.
However, if Qi Fan didn't find out, she wouldn't proactively tell her.
After a day and a night of flying and driving, everyone was exhausted. Today was mainly for rest. Ye Wan took a shower, changed her clothes, tidied herself up, and decided to go for a walk.
She had come this time to find an antidote. Gu Yun Ting no longer had time to wait, so she had to hurry to find the antidote to save him.
Feeling troubled, she changed her clothes, informed Qi Fan, and left the room.
She had to find a way to enter the treasure pavilion of Country C to see if there was any medicine inside. But how could she get in?
Ye Wan had no clue.
As she was walking aimlessly, she stumbled on something and almost fell. She was startled and quickly steadied herself by holding onto the wall beside her to prevent herself from falling.
"Are you blind! Don't you see this young master sitting here!" an arrogant and angry voice boomed. Ye Wan then realized she had been distracted and had bumped into a child sitting there.
"I'm so sorry, it's my fault. I didn't see you," Ye Wan quickly apologized.
"Hmph!" The child snorted, turned his head, and ignored her.
Ye Wan looked around. This was a somewhat secluded area of the guesthouse, and it was already evening. Why was this child sitting here alone?
Ye Wan was also feeling restless, so she sat down. She didn't initiate conversation with the child, but sat about a meter away from him, picked up a broken branch from the ground, and started drawing slowly.
The little boy glanced at her and said unhappily, "Stay away from me!"
"This isn't your house, is it? You can sit here, and so can I. Why do you demand I stay away from you?" Ye Wan wasn't angry; she was just feeling stuck and felt a little pity for the child.
This child reminded her of her younger brother, Ye Cheng. She missed him terribly after not seeing him for so long. After all, he was a child she had raised. Ye Wan hadn't gotten a good look at the child's face, but looking now, she noticed a slight resemblance to her brother.
However, her brother was too thin and small, while this child was stout and tall, with a cute, sturdy build. His skin was fair, and his eyes were beautiful.
"Don't you know about first come, first served in public places? Since I sat here first, you can't sit here anymore." The child spoke with conviction.
"But I'm not sitting where you are sitting. Since it's a public place, you can sit, and so can I."
"You're arguing unreasonably." The little boy's face turned red with anger.
"You're really angry." Seeing that the child was genuinely upset by her, Ye Wan felt a little sympathetic. After all, if it were her, she wouldn't like a stranger suddenly sitting next to her.
