Chapter 37 How Can He Be Saved

Ye Wan had also recovered by this time. She looked at the man she was holding and couldn't speak for a moment. She truly hadn't expected Gu Yunting to come to her rescue.

Gu Yunting was an excellent swimmer. He quickly brought her to the yacht. The dark shadow was already close, seemingly about to rush over and tear them apart…

"Get on!" he said, lifting her forcefully onto the yacht.

At the same time, the shark lurking in the depths suddenly rammed into the yacht. Gu Yunting lost his chance to board and could only quickly flee in the opposite direction.

The yacht lurched violently from the impact. Ye Wan was thrown to the other side. Startled, she looked up and saw the shark's pointed snout, finally understanding what was happening!

She trembled all over with fear. The shark, however, seemed uninterested in the yacht. It had already turned to chase another 'prey'.

Ye Wan quickly got up and rushed over. She watched with bated breath as the shark pursued Gu Yunting.

At the same moment, Ye Wan saw countless dark shapes swimming towards Gu Yunting's escape route. It was a school of sharks.

Ye Wan's scalp tingled. She desperately thought of a way to save him!

Just then, she saw a shark open its gaping maw and lunge at Gu Yunting. Fortunately, he was agile enough to dodge.

But this was just one shark. Soon, several others were leisurely swimming towards him…

Ye Wan suddenly remembered from biology class that sharks had highly sensitive sensory organs, especially their sense of smell, which was incredibly acute to blood!

As she watched the sharks surround Gu Yunting, Ye Wan spotted an iron anchor nearby. She quickly grabbed it and, without hesitation, cut her own arm.

The sharp iron tool carved a deep wound on her tender arm. Ye Wan immediately extended her arm over the yacht, letting her blood drip into the seawater. Anxiously, she looked into the distance, afraid the blood wasn't enough. She then cut her other arm, and blood gushed out.

The wound on this arm was deeper than the other, and blood spurted out like a fountain.

Gu Yunting was trying to find a way to escape, even contemplating that he might die here, torn to shreds and eaten by these sharks…

Just as he thought his end was certain, the sharks suddenly seemed to lose interest in him and all rushed towards the yacht.

Ye Wan watched as the sharks swam towards her, knowing her plan had worked. She quickly withdrew her hands. The moment the sharks slammed into the yacht, she almost fell overboard again, but managed to grab the railing in time.

The sharks, driven into a frenzy by the scent of blood, began to furiously ram the yacht, as if they knew there was tastier food on board.

Ye Wan could only cling tightly to the railing. The yacht was nearly capsized several times, and she was almost thrown off.

At a critical moment, Zhou Muchu and Jin Lan arrived in their yacht. Jin Lan quickly extended his hand to Gu Yunting, "Let me pull you up."

After Gu Yunting was aboard, he shouted, "Go save her!"

"What's wrong with those sharks? Why are they ramming the yacht so desperately?" Jin Lan asked, trembling.

"She lured the sharks away with her blood. These cunning beasts are trying to capsize the yacht and eat her!" Gu Yunting had figured out what Ye Wan had done to save him.

Jin Lan was shocked, and Zhou Muchu frowned.
