Zheng Zi'er watched Gu Yunting personally pick up Jiang Yan and Ye Wan. Her face turned ashen. Everyone looked at her with peculiar eyes. Even the girls who usually flattered her kept their distance, as if she were a contagion.
Zheng Zi'er couldn't bear this blow. Thinking of how proud she usually was, and that she would have to walk on eggshells in Jing University from now on, she couldn't accept it. Her eyes rolled back, and she fainted.

"Is that okay?"
Gu Yunting felt a bit more comfortable. He was actually very disgusted by the touch of the opposite sex on his skin, but Jiang Yan's special status, as her best friend and Jin Lan's woman, made him tolerate it.
"Have you eaten?" Ye Wan, thinking of his workaholic nature, worried he hadn't had a meal yet.
"Not yet. I was in a meeting when you messaged."
Just as she had guessed, Ye Wan said, "What do you want to eat? I'll have it with you."
"Mmm," Gu Yunting responded, pulling her into his embrace. "I did you a huge favor. A kiss and a meal can't settle it."
"Isn't helping you have a child enough?" Ye Wan blinked and asked.
"What do you think?" As Gu Yunting spoke, he lowered his head and kissed the lips that had utterly captivated him. He didn't understand why, but she seemed to possess a special magic that made him unable to resist.
When they got out of the car, Ye Wan was dazed from his kiss, her chest tight, her lips swollen, her eyes misty. She looked even more beautiful and alluring.
Gu Yunting took Ye Wan to a Michelin-starred restaurant. After they were seated, Gu Yunting ordered the food. Ye Wan only ordered a drink; she had already eaten and wasn't very hungry.
During the meal, Ye Wan needed to use the restroom. She left her phone on the table. Her phone suddenly vibrated. Gu Yunting glanced up. It was a WeChat message, seemingly a reservation.
Gu Yunting frowned, picked up the phone, and unlocked it. He saw a message about a gynecological appointment: an IUD removal surgery? He immediately understood what was happening.
