Lin Feiwei's face looked as if she had swallowed a fly. Seeing Fu Huaishen so ostentatiously giving Ye Wan flowers made her feel even worse. However, she quickly thought that Gu Yunting would arrive soon. While Fu Huaishen was good, he was still inferior to Gu Yunting.
Thinking this, her mood improved slightly.
"Come with me, I have another gift for you." Fu Huaishen grabbed Ye Wan's arm and led her out of the Lin family's hall.
Lin Zehan also followed. He hadn't invited Fu Huaishen, so who knew this guy would show up on his own and so boldly give Ye Wan a gift? It made him somewhat displeased.

Seeing this scene, Lin Feiwei was so angry she felt like spitting blood. Today was supposed to be her birthday party. It was one thing for someone else to crash it, but this person was stealing all her thunder!
Lin Feiwei's girlfriends were extremely envious, their hands clasped over their chests, faces flushed with excitement. What woman wouldn't wish to have such a thoughtful boyfriend?
"Why did you buy so much stuff? It's such a waste!" Ye Wan said to the man beside her with a hint of frustration. He was giving her so many gifts, and she had nothing to give him in return.
"How is this a waste? I'm giving it to you willingly, so just accept it! Be good!" Fu Huaishen said, affectionately ruffling her hair.
Ye Wan instinctively tried to dodge, and her gaze met a sharp stare. She froze. Gu Yunting had stepped out of his exclusive car. Seeing him, Fu Huaishen casually put his arm around Ye Wan's shoulder.
Gu Yunting looked at Fu Huaishen's hand as if it were a knife, wanting to chop it off!
Sensing the wrong atmosphere, Lin Zehan quickly pulled Ye Wan aside and said, "My sister hasn't agreed to date you, so don't be so touchy!"
"She'll agree sooner or later," Fu Huaishen said with full confidence, then pulled Ye Wan inside.
Lin Feiwei, like a little bird, pounced towards Gu Yunting, trying to link arms with him, but he dodged her. A bodyguard immediately presented a gift. "Miss Lin, this is from Young Master."
"Thank you." Lin Feiwei accepted it with a bright smile, but felt a pang of annoyance. Compared to the gifts Fu Huaishen had given Ye Wan, hers seemed insignificant.
She hated the feeling of being overshadowed by Ye Wan, yet today she was being outshone at every turn.
Lin Feiwei, holding a very large box, could no longer attempt to link arms with Gu Yunting. She could only happily walk beside him. As long as she had Gu Yunting as her fiancé, Ye Wan would always be beneath her!
Fu Huaishen followed behind Ye Wan, his gaze towards Gu Yunting filled with provocation. Gu Yunting merely gave him a cold glance before looking away. A group of people immediately swarmed Gu Yunting, eager to converse and toast him, as he was undoubtedly the most influential figure in the capital.
Jin Lan and Jiang Jingxiu arrived one after another, holding gift boxes. Seeing this, Lin Feiwei immediately approached them, smiling and saying, "Young Master Jin, Young Master Jiang, it's great you could make it. You didn't need to bring gifts, thank you."
"I came to celebrate Ye Wan's birthday, why are you thanking me? That's hilarious." Jin Lan gave Lin Feiwei no face at all and went to find Ye Wan with the gift he'd bought for her.
