Ye Wan remained silent with her eyes closed, her body still trembling uncontrollably, clearly terrified.

Gu Yun Ting got out of his car and walked towards Fu Huai Shen’s car. Fu Huai Shen immediately pushed Ye Wan aside and said, “Stay put and don’t get out. I’ll take you away soon.”
Ye Wan’s eyelashes trembled a few times, her hands clenching the jacket she was wearing.
After Fu Huai Shen got out of the car, he rushed forward and punched Gu Yun Ting. Gu Yun Ting took the punch head-on, stumbling back two steps. “Stop fighting,” Ye Wan said, stepping out of the car with trembling legs. Seeing them seemingly intent on killing each other, she cried out.
But the two men were blinded by rage, and neither heard her. Ye Wan closed her eyes, tightened her grip on the jacket, and suddenly ran between them.
The two men had just separated and were about to throw punches at each other again when a figure darted between them. They were startled by Ye Wan’s sudden appearance and abruptly changed the direction of their fists. One grazed her cheek, and the other grazed her hair…
Ye Wan felt a sharp pain on her cheek as Gu Yun Ting’s knuckles scraped against it.
“Ye Wan!” Fu Huai Shen cried out in concern.

Gu Yun Ting and Fu Huai Shen’s hands trembled simultaneously, and the force in their grips loosened. Fu Huai Shen suddenly exerted more strength and pulled Ye Wan to his side.
Gu Yun Ting’s face instantly turned grim. He wanted to snatch Ye Wan back, but Fu Huai Shen asked coldly, “Gu Yun Ting, don’t you think you’ve hurt her enough? Do you really want to see her die in front of you?”
Gu Yun Ting froze. “This is between Ye Wan and me. It has nothing to do with you!”
“It has everything to do with me now, because I love her!” Fu Huai Shen declared his love while holding Ye Wan.
Gu Yun Ting’s hands clenched into fists, his chest heaving. Seeing Ye Wan in another man’s arms, he felt as if they were a unit, and he was an outsider.
