Yet, at the mere sight of her, a single glance, a gesture, her unique scent would ignite a fierce desire in him, a yearning to devour her whole!
The next day, Sun Ma delivered good news to Ye Wan. The young master had given her a room. Though small, it had excellent natural light, with sunshine bathing it from three sides for the entire day.
Having already received orders, Sun Ma had moved her belongings over. She happily led Ye Wan to see it.
It was a small room in a corner on the first floor, no more than five square meters. Inside was a 1.8-meter-wide bed and a private bathroom. The place was small, but the sunlight streaming in felt warm and incredibly comfortable.
Ye Wan had slept in cramped, dark spaces for ten years, places that perpetually lacked light, were cold and damp. She suddenly recalled her first night in that tiny storage room, so terrified she hadn't slept at all, crying continuously. She had knocked on the door all night, but no one opened it. Later, she had grown accustomed to it.
Seeing the change in her expression, Sun Ma explained, "This room is small, yes, but the bed is big, so you won't have to sleep with your legs bent anymore. I'm simmering soup for you in the kitchen; I'll go check on it. You can unpack a bit more."
Ye Wan was alone in the room. She walked to the window, gazing at the small garden outside. She reached out and opened the window. A gentle breeze blew in, carrying the scent of flowers.
This is so good...

"Sun Ma, are the clothes in the cabinet new? They look brand new," Ye Wan asked as she entered the kitchen.
"Ah, yes, I put them there. Why would they look new? See, they've all been washed," Sun Ma replied, worried that Ye Wan might throw a tantrum if she knew the clothes were prepared by Gu Yun Ting and refuse to wear them. Thus, she had not only cut off the labels but also specifically washed them before hanging them.
"What does your daughter do? Why does she have so many old clothes she doesn't want?" Ye Wan pressed further.
"She... she graduated from college and said she's become a fashion magazine editor. She just has a lot of clothes now. I'm old, and I don't really understand," Sun Ma sprinkled some chopped scallions into the soup, using the excuse she had prepared long ago.
Ye Wan found it strange but couldn't pinpoint what was wrong. After eating her noodles, she left to catch the bus to school.

In an apartment, scattered clothes extended from the entrance to a bedroom. Chu Zi Yin was still asleep when he felt someone touching him. He opened his eyes and met Lin Fei Wei's bright, dark eyes.
"Miss Lin, you're too bold. I served you until past midnight yesterday, and it's only past seven now, and you want more?" Chu Zi Yin reached for his phone to check the time. It was just past seven; he'd only slept for seven hours.
"You scoundrel! Who said I want more? I just... I just... felt bored," Lin Fei Wei said with a shy expression.
"I can't take it anymore. If this continues, I'll really have to sacrifice myself for you!" Chu Zi Yin had never met a woman with such an insatiable appetite, wishing she could spend twenty-four hours a day in bed.
"Then let me serve you. I promise you'll be comfortable," Lin Fei Wei said, wiggling her body as she slid down.
Chu Zi Yin picked up a cigarette from the nightstand and lit it, taking a puff. He watched the woman below diligently serving him and sneered. If Gu Yun Ting knew his fiancée was so shamelessly catering to another man, it would be quite a spectacle.
Feeling that the time was right, Chu Zi Yin grabbed Lin Fei Wei's hair and pulled her up. "Now that we know Ye Wan is the Lin family's biological daughter, shouldn't we do something?"
