The next day, Ye Wan went to the hospital where her brother was staying and had an IUD inserted in the gynecology department, thus eliminating any worry of pregnancy, once and for all.
It was Saturday, and Lin Zehan and Mrs. Lin had both called her, asking her to come over for dinner that evening.
Seeing that she was still reluctant, Lin Zehan played his trump card. He said, "Hasn't your brother been unable to find a suitable bone marrow match? I have a way to help you find one. Come over for dinner, and I'll tell you."
After school in the afternoon, Ye Wan took the bus to the Lin's. Nothing was more important than her brother's life. The doctor had said that a suitable match must be found within six months. Time was of the essence. She could lose everything, but she could not lose her brother!

Gu Yunting's arrival brought great joy to the Lin family, especially Mr. Lin and Lin Feiwei. Mr. Lin had originally intended to return before dinner, but when his daughter informed him that Gu Yunting would be coming, he immediately postponed all his work and rushed back to personally entertain him.
Lin Feiwei had spent half the day getting ready. She wore a haute couture suit, her hair and nails were meticulously done, and her makeup was exquisite. She looked as lovely as a blooming flower.
Mr. Lin and Lin Feiwei were focused on Gu Yunting, while Mrs. Lin and Lin Zehan kept glancing at their watches. Lin Zehan stood up and said, "I'll go see if Ye Wan has arrived yet."
"Brother, if she's here, the servants will bring her over. Do you really need to go get her yourself?" Lin Feiwei pouted in dissatisfaction, her brows furrowed.
Seeing his daughter's unhappiness, Mr. Lin immediately commanded, "Sit down. It's Yunting's first time visiting our home. What kind of impression will you give if you run around like this? Accompanying Yunting is more important."
Lin Zehan excused himself and went out. Mr. Lin, somewhat displeased, apologized to Gu Yunting and even suggested going out to eat, so as not to spoil his mood.
"No need. Eating at home is fine," Gu Yunting replied indifferently.
"A'ting, shall I take you to my room to have a look? You've never been to my boudoir," Lin Feiwei cautiously tried to link her arm with his. Gu Yunting leaned forward, picked up the tea in front of him, and took a sip, causing her to miss.
Lin Feiwei was not embarrassed. She raised her hand and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, a sweet smile on her face as she continued to talk.
Before long, Lin Zehan returned. He sat down and sent a message to Ye Wan, asking where she was.
Mrs. Lin looked at him nervously and asked, "When will Ye Wan arrive?"
"She hasn't replied. She should be here soon," Lin Zehan didn't want to pressure Ye Wan too much. If he hadn't wanted her to come for dinner, he wouldn't have used the bone marrow issue to force her. He already regretted it and felt somewhat agitated.
"She's not that important. Mother, Brother, you should talk more with A'ting," Lin Feiwei said unhappily, looking at her brother and mother.
Their expressions were somewhat awkward. Lin Zehan was displeased with his sister's remarks about Ye Wan, but with Gu Yunting present, he didn't feel it was appropriate to say much.
Ye Wan got off the bus and walked towards the entrance of the Lin family's villa. Just as she was about to ring the doorbell, a hand reached it before hers. She turned around in surprise and saw a familiar handsome face. However, the roguish and wicked aura on that face made her eyes widen.
"You!"
"What a coincidence, girl," Fu Haishen said with a wicked smile, looking at her.
"Why are you here?" Ye Wan looked around, only seeing a black sedan, which she assumed Fu Haishen had driven.
"I'm here to visit your future parents-in-law with you," Fu Haishen slowly approached her.
