Chapter 74: Never Lost

Chapter 74: Chapter 74: Never Lost

Chen Tianlong lazily waved his hand and said, "So far, I have never lost!"

"You just keep bragging!" Wu Mengting snorted coldly. She said it that way, but hearing Chen Tianlong’s confidence, her worries lessened significantly.

"Here come the large goblets, please enjoy!" The waiter placed the glasses on the table and quickly left. He couldn’t afford to offend the Han Family.

This was the moment for Hao Ren to show off. He picked up the large teapot on the table, poured out the tea, and then expertly mixed in three kinds of red and white beer, appearing quite professional.

His intention was simple, to let everyone know he’s experienced in the bar scene, suggesting that Chen Tianlong challenging him was a sure loss.

"Finished mixing, done. I must remind you, downing such a big glass of mixed drinks might make you vomit blood, kid, I advise you to quit now, or you’ll lose your life." Hao Ren said deliberately.

"Wow, red and white beer... could be deadly."

"Totally, what are these youngsters doing? They have no regard for life."

Zhou Qianghan’s eyes widened. Hao Ren was trying so hard for a woman, drinking such a large cup; even he wouldn’t be able to handle it.

"You nag too much, I have no problem." Chen Tianlong glared impatiently at Hao Ren.

"You brat, keep pretending, you’ll regret it later." Hao Ren sneered, picking up a goblet, filling it, taking a deep breath, and guzzling half of it.

His face turned crimson. This mixed drink was really strong; he could barely handle half of it. But having boasted earlier, not finishing the drink would definitely be humiliating.

After pausing for two seconds, Hao Ren had no choice but to continue drinking. But as he put the glass down, he felt something rushing up his throat and quickly covered his mouth to avoid vomiting.

"No cheating, everyone is watching. If you’re going to puke, just do it." Chen Tianlong frowned at Hao Ren.

Hao Ren swallowed and resisted the urge to vomit, glancing at Chen Tianlong and said, "Who’s puking? Which eye saw me puke, can’t I burp?"

"Heh, fine!" Chen Tianlong smiled faintly and drank his mix of red and white beer in one gulp, as if it were plain water.

Everyone was astonished, wondering who this person was, being so remarkable!

Zhou Qianghan and Hao Ren were dumbfounded. At this rate, Hao Ren seemed destined to lose.

Hao Ren was anxious; it wasn’t just about losing, but about shame. Losing this round would not only humiliate him but also end any chances he had with Wu Mengting—an enormous loss.

Zhou Qianghan decided to play dirty. Just as Hao Ren was about to pour more mixed drinks, Zhou suddenly said:

"Hold on, I think this isn’t intense enough; to compete in drinking, it should be with the strongest. Is there Erguotou (Chinese liquor) at the bar?"

Chen Tianlong frowned, wondering what Zhou Qianghan was up to.

Hao Ren recognized Zhou Qianghan’s gesture, figuring they saw the situation and felt his chances weren’t great, so they should try a dirty trick. Hao Ren knew Zhou’s tricks well and secretly smiled, expecting Chen Tianlong to suffer later.

"Yes, we have it, please wait!" The waiter hesitated but quickly understood, hastening to get the liquor.

The onlookers were flabbergasted and incredulous, wondering if these people intended to drink themselves to death, seemingly fearless.

"Haha, whatever, I’ll drink anything. But does Chen Tianlong dare?" Hao Ren, having a backup plan, started boasting again.

"In my dictionary, there’s no such thing as ’don’t dare’," Chen Tianlong said calmly.

Hao Ren was infuriated, grinding his teeth but grumbling internally, thinking that soon Chen Tianlong would realize his mistake, and let’s see if he dares to show off then.

At this moment, Zhou Qianghan deliberately walked up to Hao Ren and patted his chest, asking, "Are you still okay?"

At that moment, a black pill dropped from Zhou Qianghan’s hand, landing in Hao Ren’s palm, and Hao Ren naturally clasped his hand, deliberately laughing, "A man cannot say he’s not okay!"

There’s no denying, their coordination was impeccable; to outsiders, it seemed like a blink of an eye, the two completed this subtle action.

However, what appeared seamless was detected by the astute Chen Tianlong, although he didn’t act, instead pretending ignorance, patiently waiting.

Shortly after, the waiter brought two bottles of Erguotou and placed them on the table, then quickly retreated into the crowd, eager to continue watching.

This show, damn it, was getting better and better.

This time, Zhou Qianghan mixed the drinks himself, and indeed, when he added the Erguotou, a small gray pill slipped from his hand into the mixed drink jug.

Because there was red and white beer, the color wasn’t clear enough to show anything mixed in, so Zhou boldly proceeded.

Soon, a new mixed drink was ready, and Zhou poured each of them a glass, smiling, "Gentlemen, this is the real mix. It’s practically one cup decides the winner!"

"Haha, I just like quickly downing the opponent; that’s strength!" Hao Ren had already taken the antidote, now ready for the show.

As soon as he spoke, Hao Ren picked up the large mixed drink, tilted his head, and drank it all in one go, feeling painful but not as embarrassed as before, knowing victory was near, a bit excited.

"Clatter!"

Suddenly, behind the crowd, a dish fell and shattered on the floor, causing the focused crowd to instinctively turn back.

Wu Mengting looked a bit embarrassed, glancing at everyone, apologizing, "Sorry, I accidentally bumped it and... broke it."

The crowd didn’t delay much; after all, breaking a dish wasn’t a big deal, compensating a few bucks was enough. The priority now was enjoying the spectacle.

A small interruption made everyone pause briefly, before returning to the drinking contest.

But as they turned back, they saw Chen Tianlong finishing his drink, leaving only a few drops.

Hao Ren was stunned for a moment, then realized, this guy had already finished his drink. He didn’t rush to pour, instead intentionally delaying to let the drug work on Chen Tianlong.
