Magic Capital, one of China's most prosperous cities, was also an international metropolis.
At nine in the morning, his appearance altered by makeup, Zhang Bin assumed the identity of Hacker Rabbit King Chen Junheng. He followed a beautiful woman out of a passenger station in Magic Capital.
The young man Zhang Bin was disguised as looked quite rough, like a peasant.
The beauty he was following was not Liu Ruomei. Liu Ruolan had refused to let Liu Ruomei go to Magic Capital with Chen Junheng, so the plan had fallen through.
Therefore, Zhang Bin had to come alone.
Zhang Bin didn't recognize this beauty; he had just encountered her at the station in Magic Capital. She was truly stunning, with a curvaceous figure that formed an exaggerated S-shape, skin as white as jade, and long, lustrous black hair. Her face was also beautiful and alluring—she looked as if she had stepped right out of a painting, causing countless men to gape.
Men bumped into walls and other people. Some walked into trees along the greenbelt, and one even crashed into a garbage can, knocking it over.
Zhang Bin, following behind, felt his own heart stir. He quickened his pace to walk alongside her and struck up a conversation, "Excuse me, miss, how do I get to Lanting Villa?"
"You're going to Lanting Villa too?" Surprise flashed across the beauty's face. "I'm heading there as well. Shall we share a taxi and split the fare? How about it?"
"I'd love to," Zhang Bin said with a simple, honest smile.
Chatting as they went, they approached the roadside, preparing to flag down a taxi.
However, a lavishly dressed young man wearing a jadeite ring, flanked by two companions, stepped directly in front of Zhang Bin and the beauty.
He sneered at Zhang Bin. "Kid, your girlfriend is gorgeous. How about you let me have some fun with her?"
"HAHAHA… Miss, Young Master Di has taken a fancy to you. This is your lucky day!"
"Young Master Di, just toss him a hundred bucks and tell him to scram."
His two companions chimed in with mocking laughter.
The beauty's face drained of color. To think she would encounter a young tyrant just after arriving in Magic Capital!
Zhang Bin sized up this so-called Young Master Di and was surprised to find he wasn't an ordinary person. He was actually a Cultivator who had reached the Rushing Pulse Realm, having opened five meridians.
His two companions were also Cultivators, but they were only at the Qi Cultivation Stage.
However, with such a level of Cultivation and what was likely an extraordinary background, they could indeed act with impunity in Magic Capital. Bullying a young man like Zhang Bin, who appeared to have no True Qi whatsoever, would be no problem at all.
Because Zhang Bin was using the identity of Rabbit King Chen Junheng, he had gone to great lengths to seal his own True Qi so that not even a ripple of its fluctuations would escape, making him seem like an ordinary person.
As for the beauty, she was indeed just an ordinary person, not a Cultivator.
"Kid, you dare to look down on me?" Zhang Bin put on an air of someone with a powerful backer. "Do you have any idea who I am?"
"Who are you?" Young Master Di sneered, not taking Zhang Bin seriously in the slightest.
"I only need to say one name to make you piss your pants in fear," Zhang Bin declared with an imposing aura. "The most insignificant of my father's subordinates is named Di Xingde. And he's right here in Magic Capital."
The three youths' eyes widened in unison, their faces filled with disbelief. Young Master Di's father was indeed Di Xingde, the head of the Di Family. The Di Family was an ancient martial family with experts as numerous as the clouds; no one in Magic Capital dared to provoke them.
Could this country bumpkin-looking kid really be speaking with such arrogance? How did he know the name Di Xingde? Was he really someone with a powerful background, or was he just bluffing?
"How could my dad possibly be someone's subordinate?" Young Master Di's face flushed with anger as he snapped, "Kid, you're spouting nonsense. I'll make sure you pay for this today!"
"What the hell... you don't believe me?" Zhang Bin's presence grew even more overbearing. "Let me tell you, Di Xingde's wife's nickname is Huahua. Their phone numbers are... They also have a son named Di Yu. That moron has to tremble when he's in front of me. Heh heh, even his father has to be respectful when he sees me."
Young Master Di's face turned ashen, and his two companions looked terrified. Everything Zhang Bin had said was correct. The phone numbers were right, and so were the names.
Clearly, this guy had a serious background and was telling the truth. After all, if he were a nobody, how could he possibly have charmed such a rare beauty?
As a result, the trio's bravado crumbled, their fierce expressions belying their inner fear and turmoil.
"Still not getting lost? One phone call from me, and you'll all be corpses," Zhang Bin shouted even more arrogantly.
The three of them could no longer withstand the pressure and immediately scrambled out of the way.
However, Zhang Bin wasn't finished with them. With a malicious look, he shouted, "Stop right there! I think I recognize you... aren't you Di Xingde's son, Di Yu? Seeing your big brother, aren't you going to come over and greet me?"
Damn it! What's this bastard's background? How does he recognize me? Di Yu screamed internally, wishing he could cover his face.
He was now stuck, unsure whether to leave or stay. He could only stand there frozen, his face flushing red.
Zhang Bin arrogantly pointed at Young Master Di's nose. "Kid, your dad told me you really like jade, which complements your name perfectly. And that you've collected a lot of precious pieces. I quite like that ring on your finger. Consider it a greeting gift for your big brother. Now, hand it over."
Young Master Di was now completely bewildered. Zhang Bin was right about everything; indeed, he was obsessed with jade and had spent a fortune on jade carvings to fill an entire treasure room. The ring on his finger was set with Imperial Green Jadeite and was worth at least a million. Was this guy really trying to extort it from him?
He was reluctant, but he was also terrified of offending someone with such a powerful background. He didn't dare to refuse outright, and hesitation was written all over his face.
"What the hell... you're unwilling to part with a single lousy ring? I really look down on you," Zhang Bin said with contempt. "Your dad promised that when I came to Magic Capital for fun, he'd let me pick any item from your treasure room. He's way more generous than you."
Young Master Di immediately realized that this guy was a true second-generation princeling with powerful connections whom he couldn't afford to provoke. It was better not to offend him.
So, gritting his teeth, he took off the ring and handed it over, saying with a sycophantic smile, "Since you like it, big brother, how could I possibly be reluctant?"
"Not bad, not bad. From now on, I've got your back."
Zhang Bin took the ring and slid it directly onto the middle finger of his right hand. He then flagged down a taxi and beckoned to the beauty, who wore a strange expression, to get in. The cab quickly disappeared into the stream of traffic.
