Chapter 123: Chapter 0123: The Joy of Moving House_1

After the misunderstanding between them was cleared up, Tian Bingbing’s view of Zhang Bin changed drastically.

That day, she even made a special trip to the market to buy groceries and cooked a Chinese meal for him.

She said proudly, "Zhang Bin, I’m living in your house, but I’m not taking advantage of you. Not only have I helped you realize your dream, but I’m also cooking for you."

"That’s right, that’s right. It’s a win-win," Zhang Bin said with a grin, thoroughly enjoying the delicious food.

He lingered that day, not wanting to leave, just so he could rest his head on Tian Bingbing’s beautiful legs a while longer.

Unfortunately, Tian Bingbing had to go to work at the martial arts gym in the afternoon, so he naturally couldn’t use her beautiful legs as a pillow.

He could only drive back home and continue studying the extraterrestrial materials.

Two days flew by, and the day of the housewarming arrived.

Early in the morning, Zhang Bin’s family was already bustling about.

Guests began to arrive in waves.

Most of them were relatives of the Zhang family.

Ma Rufei also arrived quite early. He pulled Zhang Bin along to tour the two magnificent villas, reminding him of various things to pay attention to.

Then he said with a smirk, "Master, I’ve kept my promise. Isn’t it time for you to fulfill yours?"

"My promise? What promise?" Zhang Bin asked, astonished.

"You haven’t forgotten, have you? You promised that once the villas were built, you’d help me last for three hours. Right now, I can only manage two, not a minute more," Ma Rufei said, a bit sullenly.

Zhang Bin was speechless.

"Master, you weren’t just stringing me along, were you?" Ma Rufei suddenly became anxious.

"Stringing you along? How could that be? I’m just worried that with your physique, ’exercising’ for three hours might make you pass out," Zhang Bin said.

"Don’t worry about that. I’m in great shape. I practice martial arts, so a mere three hours is nothing," Ma Rufei said, thumping his chest. He added with a wicked smile, "As long as the little guy can go the distance, the big guy won’t drop the ball."

"Animal," Zhang Bin shook his head, fully understanding why the scoundrel Ma Rufei wanted to last for three hours. He didn’t waste any more words on him. He went and picked a few dozen types of herbs from Mantou Ridge, returned home, and began the alchemy. In just half an hour, he had refined the elixir into an ointment that emitted a strange fragrance.

Zhang Bin quickly rolled the ointment into peanut-sized pills.

Ma Rufei helped, asking excitedly, "Master, if I take one of these pills, I can last for three hours, right?"

"No," Zhang Bin said.

"You mean I can last for four hours?" Ma Rufei immediately became ecstatic.

"This is called an Endurance Pill. Taking one can make you last for a whole day; it essentially locks you in that state," Zhang Bin said calmly. "Take one pill daily. After a month, you’ll be able to permanently last for three hours."

He had developed this pill by studying both extraterrestrial and Earthly medicinal formulas.

"My God, this is a divine medicine! If you sold these individually, they would be a global sensation!" Ma Rufei exclaimed in shock.

"Don’t mention this to anyone yet. Otherwise, Sister Lan will force me to start a factory immediately, and I’m too busy to handle that. Besides, we don’t have a way to cultivate these herbs in bulk or mass-produce the pills yet. We can only make small, sporadic batches," Zhang Bin said.

"Then I’ll handle sales for you! Tell me, how much for one pill?" Ma Rufei asked excitedly.

"If they’re sold individually, you’ll need to mix in about twenty times as much flour. That’s just enough for people to last three hours after taking one. As for the price, just give me whatever you get for them. Surely you aren’t looking to make a small profit from this, are you?" Zhang Bin said.

He felt it would be inappropriate for Liu Ruolan to market the Endurance Pills, so having Ma Rufei handle individual sales was a suitable arrangement.

"Master, this is business. Of course I need to take a cut. How about I take a ten percent sales commission?" Ma Rufei asked, his face full of expectation.

"Ten percent? Fine." Zhang Bin didn’t think much of it and nodded in agreement.

"Hehehe..." Ma Rufei spun around in delight, looking completely disoriented.

"Don’t get carried away. There isn’t a large supply. A furnace-worth of pills once a month is already generous," Zhang Bin said. He then took out 30 pills for Ma Rufei and put the rest away. He added, "Try one first. Tell me about the effects and your reaction, and then I’ll decide how much flour to mix in."

"Hehe..." Ma Rufei continued to chuckle foolishly.

I don’t understand the world of animals. Zhang Bin muttered to himself, no longer paying the guy any mind as he went to greet the guests.

All the villagers of Sanchahe Village got busy, volunteering to help.

They brought tables, stools, and bowls from their own homes, setting them up on the open ground in front of Zhang Bin’s villa.

Other villagers helped wash and chop vegetables.

After all, every family had someone working for Zhang Bin, either planting herbs on Mantou Ridge or slated to work in the pharmaceutical factory.

Moreover, all employees were still receiving their wages for the day.

Father Zhang and Mother Zhang were also beaming with joy as they welcomed guests.

Xiao Fang was in one of the villa’s rooms with a group of children, playing computer games and making an earth-shattering racket.

The sound of firecrackers erupted from time to time, CRACKLING with festive spirit.

Liu Ruolan arrived, as did Liu Ruomei. Even Liu Qian showed up.

Tian Guangjin, Qin Xiaolong, and Yue Xing all came as well.

And, of course, Tian Bingbing was there too.

"Congratulations, Zhang Bin! Your villas are beautiful! You’re a true tycoon!"

"You really are a tycoon, Zhang Bin. All I can do is be envious."

"Congratulations, Zhang Bin, congratulations..."

Tian Guangjin, Qin Xiaolong, and Yue Xing all congratulated him loudly.

Tian Bingbing also handed a beautiful gift box to Zhang Bin, saying coquettishly, "It’s just a small gift, but I hope you like it, Xiao Bin. Please don’t mind it."

Zhang Bin was busy accepting gifts, his face covered in a brilliant smile.

Liu Ruomei’s expression, however, had changed. She muttered, "What’s going on? It looks like Zhang Bin and Bingbing have made up. How can this be? What about my sister?"

She hurried over, pulled Tian Bingbing aside, and asked in surprise, "Bingbing, weren’t you ignoring Zhang Bin? Why did you come today?"

"Sister Mei, I feel so ashamed whenever you bring that up..."

Tian Bingbing then recounted the misunderstanding with Zhang Bin and the recent incident with the challengers from Japan, leaving nothing out.

Liu Ruolan, who was standing nearby, heard everything. A look of relief appeared on her face, and a feeling of sweetness surged in her heart.

Liu Ruomei, however, stared at Tian Bingbing as if she were a fool and said with astonishment, "You’re saying Zhang Bin has high moral character? Are you kidding me? Let me tell you, he’s a total scoundrel, rotten to the core. Don’t let him trick you."

"Liu Ruomei, how can you slander me like that?" Zhang Bin’s sharp ears had caught her words. He walked over and said exasperatedly, "Haven’t I been good to you? Think about it carefully."

Liu Ruomei replied meekly, "Well... you have been very good to me, and I’m grateful. But that doesn’t change your fundamental nature as a scoundrel."

Two veins bulged on Zhang Bin’s forehead as he was rendered speechless.

Tian Bingbing and some of the other guests who overheard them doubled over with laughter.
