Chapter 25: Chapter 25: Saw Everything
She shook her head.
Elias Lancaster chuckled softly, "You lie down on the bed, I’ll apply it for you."
Serena Yeats sat without lying down. The two had spent a night together, but that was when they weren’t clear-headed.
Now, although they sleep in the same bed, apart from some kisses, there’s been no further intimacy.
Serena hesitated, "Uncle, can’t we skip it?"
Elias was firm in his attitude, "Applying this is good for you. Do you want your belly covered in stretch marks in the future?"
Serena imagined the scene and quickly shook her head.
But...
"I can have Nanny Livingston help me apply it....." Serena said, looking up at Elias, noticing his expression changed, as if he was unhappy. She immediately dared not continue.
Elias was both amused and helpless. He had gone through the trouble to learn the technique from Nanny Livingston, only for it to be disliked.
His little girl still wanted someone else to apply it for her.
She’s his woman; how could he let someone else touch those private places?
He would never allow it!
Serena didn’t dare to speak anymore and quickly lay obediently on the bed, closing her eyes and nervously clutching the sheets with both hands.
If Elias wants to do it himself, let him.
Today, after applying it, she’ll know the technique, and next time, she can do it herself.
Elias saw her look of facing death and couldn’t help but smile, very handsome.
Such an adorable person, lying on the bright red bed, it was a beautiful scene.
"Wait a moment for me."
After saying this, he turned and walked to the bathroom, not sure what he was going to do.
Serena peeked stealthily, seeing Elias walk away, opened her eyes and stared blankly ahead.
Being pregnant is so tiring and troublesome!
Soon after, she saw Elias carrying a basin of water out, with a towel draped over his shoulder.
This look.....
Why does it seem a bit like a waiter in a restaurant?
Except he had a handsome appearance, with a smile at the corner of his mouth that was soul-stirring.
Serena was dumbfounded.
There was also a sense of shock.
The image of Master Lancaster at this moment was very incongruent!
Watching him set things down and then fetch something else, busy back and forth, there was a momentary illusion.
She had an instinct that Elias Lancaster would be a husband who loves his wife dearly.
Elias glanced at the person on the bed, not sure what she was thinking, her expression dazed and so cute.
Then, Elias washed his hands, dried them, lifted her nightgown, poured some maternity oil into his palms, and rubbed them together.
With the technique Nanny Livingston taught him, he seriously applied the maternity oil to Serena.
Serena didn’t have much flesh on her body, very slender, but because of the twins, her belly had grown a lot,
He was seeing such a scene for the first time, also her enlarged belly for the first time, and he didn’t dare to breathe heavily.
He calmed his mind, put away all distractions, and after a while, the belly was done, and he poured more maternity oil into his palms.
Using the earlier technique, he applied it to her inner thighs.
Serena’s face turned as red as a cooked shrimp, bright red, as she raised a hand to cover her face.
She tried hard to ignore the impact of Elias’s hands on her.
But the presence was too strong.
She made herself stay calm, remember the technique, and apply it herself next time.
Finally, it was finished, and Serena breathed a sigh of relief.
She blushingly asked, "Do we need to apply anywhere else?"
Elias looked into her eyes, smiling gently, "Hips, underarms, and the chest."
Serena’s mind buzzed.
What? Those two places too?
Last night, she heard Nathan Sawyer telling her about Elias, saying he was an ascetic prince, a god-like figure in Aethelgard.
She really couldn’t associate the person in front of her with the person Nathan described.
But.....
Those two places were out of the question; she would rather die than let Elias help her apply there!
She would rather have ugly stretch marks than that.
Especially those two areas, this....
Elias was amused yet helpless, "Serena, we are husband and wife, a legal couple."
Serena shook her head, she absolutely didn’t want to.
"I won’t apply anymore, let the stretch marks serve as a good memory too."
But..., she absolutely wouldn’t!
Serena bit her lip, her face burning with shyness.
Serena was startled by a sudden kiss.
Gradually, Serena relaxed entirely.
The next day.
Elias went to the company very early, with some piled-up work that he had to handle.
Serena slept in late at home, and after breakfast, she took out the drafts from The Yeats Family and did some retouching and modifications.
At lunchtime, she received a text from Elias asking if she’d eaten, what she ate, if it was to her liking, and if she craved anything.
Serena replied to all of it.
After waiting quite a while with no further messages from Elias, she finally put down her phone and ate the cake made by Nanny Livingston.
When her phone rang, she immediately grabbed it to check.
The next second.
She was completely stunned.
The last message in the chat with Elias read: I miss you.
Serena snapped back, gazing at the words, even her ears turned red, a sweet smile curling her lips.
At that moment, Elias was sitting in his CEO office, dealing with documents, occasionally glancing at his phone.
Quentin Shaw, "..."
He really wanted to remind President Lancaster to focus a bit more, as this work efficiency wasn’t like Master Lancaster.
But he didn’t dare to.
A short while later, seeing Serena’s reply, Elias’s face fell a little.
The little ungrateful one didn’t even say she missed him.
Quentin, feeling the air momentarily get colder, sneaked peeks at the President’s expression, scared to even breathe heavily.
After a while, Elias’s text notification sounded again.
This time, Elias didn’t look at it but concentrated on his work.
"What is the secretary’s office doing? How can they make such a basic mistake?"
"Redo this proposal."
During this period.
Quentin went out for coffee, glancing at the secretarial office staff, "Prepare for overtime."
Instantly, the secretarial staff’s faces fell, ready to cry without tears.
Since the President brought that girl over, they hadn’t needed to work overtime, so why suddenly now?
Did the President get dumped?
That shouldn’t be!
Various speculations arose.
Until six in the evening, when it was time to finish work, Nanny Livingston called him to ask if he’d return for dinner.
He said he’d see, and after hanging up, he checked his messages, spotting a text that instantly changed his cold face to sunny, a smile curling on his lips.
