Liu Yuanyuan didn't quite understand Wang Shu's intentions, but since he was willing to come to her room, she readily agreed.
If Wang Shu hadn't saved her today, she might have truly been violated by those thugs, enduring unimaginable humiliation before her organs were harvested for money. The mere thought sent shivers down her spine. By the time Wang Shu arrived, her heart had already completely surrendered to him. That's why tonight, if Wang Shu had said the word, she would have given him everything.
Wang Shu then led Liu Yuanyuan to her room.
"No need to close the door. I just came to comfort you," Wang Shu said as Liu Yuanyuan moved to shut it.
"Brother Wang Shu, you saved me today, so I'll do whatever you want," Liu Yuanyuan replied, blushing as she looked at him. She longed for him to "devour" her.
"That's not what I meant. I came here to tell you that I have no interest in you, so please don't harbor any hopes. It's getting late, get some sleep. We have a few more scenes tomorrow," Wang Shu stated, then turned and left Liu Yuanyuan's room.
Liu Yuanyuan watched his retreating back, a look of disappointment on her face. However, after a moment, a smile flickered across her lips.
"Brother Wang Shu really isn't the type to take advantage of someone in distress. I was right about him." Liu Yuanyuan mused.
Shortly after Wang Shu's departure, just as Liu Yuanyuan was about to close her door, Chen Kaiyuan ran up to it, panting.
"Yuanyuan, don't close the door!" Chen Kaiyuan called out urgently. He had come today to explain why he hadn't saved her. But upon seeing that it was Chen Kaiyuan, Liu Yuanyuan slammed the door shut without hesitation.
Stumped at Liu Yuanyuan's door, Chen Kaiyuan stood there dumbfounded. Liu Yuanyuan, however, had no intention of dealing with Chen Kaiyuan, whom she considered a useless imbecile. If he hadn't abandoned her today, she wouldn't have fallen into the hands of those thugs. He bragged about being a descendant of the Chen family's Xingyiquan and a national youth martial arts champion, yet when she was in her most dangerous moment, he was nowhere to be found. Instead, Wang Shu had appeared and saved her. In her eyes, Chen Kaiyuan was only slightly better than a frivolous playboy with no education. Compared to Wang Shu, he wasn't even qualified to carry Wang Shu's shoes.
"Don't come looking for me again. I'm afraid Wang Shu might misunderstand our relationship," Liu Yuanyuan said to Chen Kaiyuan from inside her room, through the door.
Hearing this, Chen Kaiyuan felt as if struck by lightning, his eyes widening as he stared at the closed door. He had pursued her with such earnestness and effort, yet she had uttered such hurtful words.
"I understand," Chen Kaiyuan finally responded, his voice subdued. He then turned and walked away. Instead of returning to his room, he wandered aimlessly through the streets.

The next day, Wang Shu went to the film set as usual to continue shooting. However, the filming progress was slow, even excessively so. The main problem wasn't Wang Shu, but Chen Kaiyuan. After last night's events, the young man was clearly not in the right state of mind. During scenes with Wang Shu, he would either forget his lines or freeze up completely. The director, enraged, even threw his thermos.
"Chen Kaiyuan, can you act or not? If you can't, just tell me, and I'll find someone else!" After the nth take, Chen Bo, unable to contain his anger, stepped forward and berated Chen Kaiyuan.
"I'm not acting anymore! You can find whoever you want!" Chen Kaiyuan declared to Chen Bo, then turned and stormed off the set.
"Fine! If you leave, don't come back, and don't let me see you again!" Chen Bo was furious. In his many years as a director, he had never encountered such an actor.
"Director, what do we do now?" Chen Kaiyuan's departure meant that the scenes in Thailand could no longer proceed. The executive directors and assistant directors on set looked on helplessly.
"Rewrite the script! Let's move on to the next location!" Chen Bo declared. That day, the crew wrapped up early. Due to Chen Kaiyuan's exit, the crew was forced to begin modifying the entire film, removing his scenes. Afterward, the crew convened back at the hotel to discuss how to revise the script. Wang Shu, as a key member of the creative team, was also invited to participate in the discussion. However, Chen Kaiyuan's sudden departure left many screenwriters stumped, unable to offer immediate solutions. Everyone was at a loss, as removing Chen Kaiyuan's character would essentially require a complete rewrite of the script based on its original trajectory.
"Does no one have any ideas? Because of one person, this film can't be finished?" Chen Bo asked everyone, but his words were met with silence.
"Director, I actually have an idea. I don't know if you're willing to hear it?" Wang Shu spoke up when everyone else was scratching their heads.
"Let's hear it!" Seeing that Wang Shu had an idea, Chen Bo encouraged him to share. While he acknowledged Wang Shu's talent in creative endeavors, it was primarily in music. He wasn't quite sure of Wang Shu's capabilities in film creation. However, given the current situation, it was worth a shot. Perhaps Wang Shu's suggestion could spark new ideas.
"My idea is that we don't need to go to so many countries. We can just go to Goryeo," Wang Shu proposed.
"What do you mean?" Chen Bo was puzzled by Wang Shu's suggestion. His drama was meant to promote Chinese martial arts. If they only visited one country, wouldn't that be too narrow?
"My idea is that the protagonist could be a young man from the Dragon Country, who, at the request of a friend, travels to a Dragon Country restaurant in Goryeo to help the owner deal with threats from triad members, and then, step by step, establishes himself in Goryeo through his own strength," Wang Shu explained his idea. His inspiration came from the classic martial arts film "The Way of the Dragon." That film was made by the renowned martial arts superstar Bruce Lee, telling the story of a country youth who travels to Italy. Wang Shu intended to shift the setting to Goryeo. Furthermore, as the original film's background was in the last century, Wang Shu planned to re-examine and refine that story.
