Chapter 209 No One Can Escape From Little Fish's Grasp

Murong Zhen had been paying close attention to Chu Lingwei. A day had passed, and the two maids had not taken her out, clearly not agreeing to her challenge. Disappointment filled her eyes.

"Weiwei, they probably won't show up," the illusion cat said, squatting in its resting place and rubbing its head against the soft cushion.

"If they don't show up, we'll have to make them," Chu Lingwei opened her eyes. It should be night now, and night was the best time for fighting.

The illusion cat immediately jumped up, its eyes sparkling with excitement. It was happiest when there was a fight.

"What should we do?"

"Let's destroy the Spirit Gathering Array here and see what happens?" This was at the bottom of the lake, and Chu Lingwei wondered where all the spiritual energy was being drawn from.

The spiritual energy in the space was not always dense. When a cultivator absorbed it into their body, it would become thinner.

She had heard Murong Zhen mention that some cultivators had stayed here for a hundred years. They continuously cultivated and broke through, yet the spiritual energy here remained so dense. This indicated there was a place that could continuously supply spiritual energy.

Perhaps there was a spirit vein beneath them, otherwise, why would a Great Power of the Dominator Realm linger here?

"Alright, let's destroy the Spirit Gathering Array." The illusion cat's entire body leaped up, and a talisman flew out from its little paws. Murong Zhen could no longer see Chu Lingwei's dungeon.

"Fellow Daoist Chu, what are you doing? Why did you set up a barrier?" Murong Zhen inwardly expected something, but being unable to see what Chu Lingwei was doing, he couldn't help but speak.

Chu Lingwei ignored him. She took an ancient Heaven-Shattering Hammer from her spatial ring and struck the Spirit Gathering Array in the dungeon with all her might.

With a "bang," the Spirit Gathering Array was destroyed.

"Weiwei, it's broken," the illusion cat was surprised that the Spirit Gathering Array had been shattered so easily.

"Fellow Daoist Chu, what did you do?" Murong Zhen clearly felt the fragments of the Spirit Gathering Array in the dungeon, his heart pounding.

Chu Lingwei ignored him and repeatedly struck the barrier of the dungeon. No matter how perfect a barrier array was, besides finding a way to dismantle it, there was another method: brute force.

As long as your strength was sufficient, even the most powerful array would be vulnerable.

"Fellow Daoist Murong, do you want to go out and take a look?" Chu Lingwei walked out of the dungeon, her smile captivating.

"How did you do it as a human?" Seeing Chu Lingwei standing before him, Murong Zhen's first question was not about releasing him, but astonishment at how she had escaped.

"Do you want to go out or not? My time is limited." Chu Lingwei crossed her arms, addressing all the cultivators imprisoned in the dungeon.

Chu Lingwei was not overconfident. Fighting a Great Power of the Dominator Realm alone would be difficult. If these people wanted to leave, they could cooperate.

"Fellow Daoist Chu, I want to go out. Please help me open the barrier," someone said impatiently. Endless cultivation had driven them to the brink of madness.

"Alright."

A smile appeared on Chu Lingwei's lips. As long as they were willing to leave, Chu Lingwei used the ancient Heaven-Shattering Hammer to break the dungeon barriers for them.

"What are you doing?"

By the time the two maids sensed the anomaly, Chu Lingwei had already helped all the cultivators who were willing to leave to break through the dungeon barriers. Among these cultivators, some had cultivated here for a hundred years and had already reached the Heaven Melting Realm or Heaven Transformation Realm, their cultivation not weak.

"Chu Lingwei, you released them?" One of the maids' faces changed as she saw Chu Lingwei standing in front of her, her eyes filled with disbelief.

How had she done it?

"I said I want to see him." Chu Lingwei flashed in front of the maid who spoke, her Ice Jade Frost Sword pointed directly at her throat. "Take me to see him. If you fail, you won't escape my sword."

The maid was shocked. She was in the Heaven Melting Realm, yet her speed was no match for a Spirit Wheel Realm female cultivator.

"Fine, don't regret this."

The maid glared hatefully at the cultivators who had already left the dungeon. "You will all pay for this."

"Hmph, I've been trapped here by you for a hundred years. I'd rather die than stay here." The first person to ask Chu Lingwei to release him was a burly man whose cultivation had reached the Heaven Transformation Realm.

The Heaven Transformation Realm was a level of power on the Profound Sky Continent, yet being confined in such a small dungeon was a humiliation.

"Alright, follow me." The maid's heart tightened, and she turned towards the main hall.

Chu Lingwei followed the maid to the grand hall where she had first met the elder. He was still seated at the head of the hall, a smile in his eyes.

"Chu Lingwei, you are much more interesting than I imagined."

"I beg senior not to blame me. This was the only way I could see you." Chu Lingwei's divine sense detected his spiritual beast nearby, and her eyes darkened.

"Oh, why do you want to see me?"

The elder's powerful aura surged around him. The illusion cat immediately cast a restriction to protect Chu Lingwei.

"Heh heh," the elder chuckled and looked at the cultivators behind Chu Lingwei. "You've improved your cultivation so much here. Are you planning to rebel now?"

The elder was a cultivator of the Dominator Realm, and killing these people would be as easy as playing a game.

The cultivators clearly understood the implication and instinctively took a step back, their eyes filled with vigilance.

The elder was very pleased with the change in the cultivators, as if unruly children had been tamed by him.

"Chu Lingwei, do you want to fight me, or my spirit beast?"

"I will do as senior commands." Chu Lingwei's brows furrowed. His attitude was clear; he had no intention of letting the cultivators behind her leave.

"Xiao Yu, you go and teach this disobedient little girl a lesson." The elder's face turned cold. As he spoke, the large fish appeared behind Chu Lingwei.

Chu Lingwei turned her head and looked at the giant fish that was almost filling the entire space, her eyes devoid of fear.

"Senior, I have one more thing."

"Speak." The elder's temper was not good, and this word was the result of his restraint.

"Senior, if I don't die in the battle against your spirit beast, can I leave here?" Chu Lingwei asked.

If his answer was no, Chu Lingwei would find her own way to achieve her goal.

"As long as you don't die, I can let you leave." A cruel smile appeared on the elder's lips. "Chu Lingwei, no one can escape from Xiao Yu's jaws."

"Then, can senior tell me my father's whereabouts?" Her father had been here, and Chu Lingwei wanted to know how he had left.

"Wait until you come before me alive, and I will consider telling you your father's whereabouts."

The elder snorted, and all the cultivators Chu Lingwei had released were sent flying.

"Take them down."

"Yes."

The two maids' eyes showed sarcasm. They stepped forward and used a Spirit Locking Rope to escort the cultivators who had just escaped back.
