Chapter 1360: Chapter 1359: Another Full Physical Examination

Ning Le’s hair examination report wasn’t coming out that quickly, but now the attending doctor asked about Ning Le’s situation. Based on his current lifestyle, it looked like he had kidney deficiency.

The Inner Canon of Huangdi considers “hair as the excess of blood”, with the kidneys responsible for storing essence, which is produced from blood, resulting in hair’s appearance.

Therefore, under normal circumstances, during a person’s youth, essence and energy are abundant, and blood and qi thrive, thus hair is long, lush, and shiny. As one ages, kidney qi weakens, essence and blood are insufficient, causing hair to whiten and easily fall out, which is a normal physiological pattern.

Modern people’s busy work schedules, fast-paced lifestyles, and excessive stress, along with indulgence or poor diet habits, can lead to liver-kidney deficiency, showing premature aging with hair turning yellow, white or falling out early, all related to insufficient kidney essence and blood.

“Mr. Ning, I suggest you go to a big hospital’s internal medicine department to have your kidneys checked.”

This is a dermatology specialty hospital, and compared to those big hospitals, it’s really not up to par in internal medicine.

“Kidney examination?” Ning Le asked curiously.

“It seems your kidneys might have issues, and your hair has a lot to do with your kidneys. Now that your hair loss is so severe, I recommend you first get a kidney function test.”

Kidney problems!

That implied he might have kidney deficiency. Thinking about how frequently that aspect had been lately, with changing women like changing clothes.

Ning Le felt embarrassed for a moment and asked in a low voice, “What if there’s a problem with the kidney examination, then what?”

“Of course, it would be treated according to your body’s symptoms.”

“Doctor, I understand, I’ll go to the big hospital for a check-up then.”

The fact that the attending doctor said so signified he wasn’t being deceptive, which Ning Le was aware of.

When Ning Le left the hospital with that young lady and got into the car, he sensed a strange look in her eyes directed at him.

When they drove to a Grade-A hospital, Ning Le parked the car outside and didn’t let the young lady come inside, fearing the attending doctor might ask about those private matters upon seeing her again.

After registering at this Grade-A hospital’s internal medicine and waiting for about half an hour, it was Ning Le’s turn. He went in and sat down as the attending doctor asked, “Mr. Ning, what discomforts are you experiencing?”

“I have severe hair loss. The attending doctor at the dermatology specialty hospital suggested I get a kidney examination here.”

Upon hearing Ning Le’s words, the attending doctor looked up at his head and found that his hair was still quite thick and black!

However, when Ning Le placed his hand on his head without doing much, a small handful of hair fell off, which startled the attending doctor.

“Young man, let me see your hand.”

Ning Le extended his hand for the doctor to check his pulse, and after the examination, the pulse indicated normal kidney function!

Moreover, for a young person, it’s normal to enjoy such activities, especially when he is at the peak of his youth and energy.

“Do you take any medication during those activities with your partner?”

Medication?

Ning Le quickly shook his head. He didn’t need that. Although those Viagra pills weren’t expensive to him, he didn’t need to use them so soon.

“From checking your pulse, your kidneys seem fine, but your hair falling out so easily indicates a significant body issue. I suggest you undergo a comprehensive check, including hair and blood tests.”

Ning Le felt bewildered once more upon hearing this!

Going through a full-body check-up again was going to be a hassle!

But since the attending doctor suggested it, what choice did he have?

Ye Qiu drove away from the hotpot restaurant, taking Wen Xin for a leisurely drive along the riverbank. At around six in the evening, Ye Qiu drove back toward the Affiliated Hospital.

Wen Xin had a night shift to attend to tonight.

As Ye Qiu parked the car, he said, “You should head in to work now!”

“Okay, I’ll go in first.”

Wen Xin prepared to step out, then leaned in to give Ye Qiu a shy smile and a kiss before hastily opening the passenger door and heading back to Affiliated Hospital.

Ye Qiu reversed and drove away towards Peach Blossom Spring Villa.

At the villa, Chen Fang, Ye Xue, Liu Lingxiu, and Ling Fei were waiting for Ye Qiu to come back for dinner. Ye Weidong had also returned tonight.

As Ye Qiu parked the car, his hunger wasn’t much since he’d had hotpot with Wen Xin earlier in the afternoon.

When Ye Qiu entered, he saw Chen Fang and the others busy. Ye Weidong was lounging with his feet up, smoking and watching TV. When he saw Ye Qiu return, he asked, “Where have you been?”

“I was at the Affiliated Hospital treating a patient.”

Upstairs, Ye Qiu continued to play on the computer. Around seven-thirty, Chen Fang and the others called him down for a rich dinner. Ye Qiu ate without much conversation, as only he and Liu Lingxiu knew about Ling Fei’s issue, which not even Zhou Peng was clear about.

Now with his parents, Ye Qiu didn’t bring this up.

After dinner, Ye Qiu found it difficult to eat more after having a bowl of rice and a bowl of soup, saying, “I just had hotpot with a friend, so I’m not hungry.”

Ye Qiu went back upstairs and continued on the computer until about ten in the evening, when there was a knock on the door. He soon saw Ling Fei and Liu Lingxiu coming in.

“Ling Fei, your father will soon have good news.”

“Do you mean you?”

Ling Fei was shocked, wondering if Ye Qiu had settled her father’s issue after just one trip out at noon!

“I encountered a bald boss from a printing factory, and I happened to treat him—your dad’s problem should be resolved soon.”

This surprised both Liu Lingxiu and Ling Fei, marveling at how quickly Ye Qiu worked.

Around ten-thirty in the evening, Ye Qiu showered and returned to his room to continue cultivating the Primordial Five Emperors Technique. At his current pace, he was close to breaking through to the next level.

At the Grade-A hospital, Ning Le followed the attending doctor’s recommendations and began another round of full-body examinations, from hair to even clipping a piece of his toenail for testing.

However, the results of these tests weren’t immediate and could take three to five days.

In this situation, Ning Le realized he had to stay in this hospital temporarily, and with such severe hair loss, he dared not go out and let others know about it.

Although hair loss wasn’t life-threatening, the previous “Young Master Fox” title might have marked him for life by others, and if it weren’t for Ye Qiu finally curing him, he would’ve been afraid to go out. Unexpectedly, now with new hair issues, if those Jinling friends found out, it surely would circulate, making his life in that circle even tougher.
