Chapter 1545: Building a Whole World

Chapter 1545: Building a Whole World

Arad looked at Mathilde and Diana, then glared down at the planet. His purple eyes burned with dark malice.

The gravity magic holding him up in the sky faded away, causing him to fall, rapidly like a meteor, but while standing upright. The clouds of smoke parted and tore apart, the air around him burned blue, and as he got faster and faster, shockwaves burst around his body a moment before he impacted the ground, causing a massive explosion.

Diana and Mathilde slowly descended after him, their wings washing away the black smoke and dust, illuminating Arad and everything around him.

Arad always has many brakes put in place to keep his power in check while in the mortal world. He never goes all out and never lets his magic leak out, because it would kill anyone getting nearby.

If humans were candles, he was a raging volcano. Getting anywhere close to him would cause their souls to melt and burn away. And then there was the radiation, as when Arad didn’t care about preserving the world around him, he would always be boiling matter inside his stomach, preparing for attacks.

Arad’s body was so radioactive that if a man got within a thousand kilometers of him, they would die of radiation, fall to the floor with their skin blistering and ripping apart.

To earn the right to fight Arad, you’d have to survive the waves of his deadly magic aura from 4000 km away, then, when you get close to the 1000 km mark and beyond, be ready to face radiation on top of everything.

Diana and Mathilde could endure his presence, but he didn’t put them under it, making sure to keep them specifically safe. The only two beings in this world that could approach Arad and stand in front of him were the two Archons who erased all life from its surface.

As Arad took his first step forward, his body disappeared into darkness, stepping through the void and appearing a few thousand kilometers away, where Euri’s castle should’ve been.

Diana and Mathilde were just behind him; the two were fast, too fast for anyone to even see or catch.

"He is beneath us, several hundreds of kilometers deep." Diana looked down with her eyes flashing golden.

Mathilde smiled, "He built one massive bunker, no, I would call it an underground kingdom. There are at least half a million devils there with him, mostly soldiers. Everyone had already died from the unbearable heat and lack of air."

All of the devils that died here were already back in hell, getting assigned their roles and jobs as they should’ve been. The only person here that won’t end there is probably Euri, because Arad won’t let hell eat his prey.

Arad reached down, touched the boiling red ground with his fingers, then looked at the expansive sea of black and red magma.

This place must’ve looked like the mortal world just a few days ago, before Mathilde came here and violated it. What a shame, but it was already dead to begin with.

Should Arad go down to Euri, or pull him out? How about the third option, digging him out?

Arad lifted his arm, releasing a massive wave of gravity magic, and then expanded his expansion, rapidly tearing the crust of the planet and swallowing it into his stomach.

Inside Arad’s stomach, many things were already changing. His small world, that was a large flat island floating in the void, had shaken and trembled, getting more and more mass thrown at its lower side.

The heavier it got, the stronger its gravity field got, and the stronger that field got, the more it was forced to take a spherical shape. The vampires living on it looked down, holding to the ground as the violent earthquake grew stronger by the second.

"What a rude child, at least tell mom when you’re going to work on the house." Gaia, who was sitting on a small hill enjoying the view, smiled. She lifted her palm and slapped the ground, silencing it. Arad’s small world stopped shaking, but it was still growing larger.

What Gaia did was just dampen the vibrations reaching the main island. "All of that... Zephyr, you were right. Arad is a monster, even by our standards." She stood and took a step forward, "What kind of dragon houses a heaven inside his stomach and even builds worlds?"

Zephyr flew toward her, "You’re giving him too much credit. All he is doing is throwing the dirt and stone he ate at this world’s lower side, letting nature do its job."

Gaia smiled, "Nature is a beautiful woman with olive skin, a tall and muscular body, and so gentle that she doesn’t care about getting extra work thrown at her." She rested her fists on her hips, "I never thought a day would come when I would be tasked to do such a thing."

Zephyr patted her on the shoulder, "Do your best to keep this small world stable. I’m sure you’re powerful enough to keep up. I’ll handle filling it with air."

As the small world expanded, its atmosphere grew thinner and thinner, which is why Zephyr would need to start pumping it with air before the people living here start suffocating. Some were already having a hard time breathing, mainly the humans.

"Come on! I was taking a nap!" Nar flew past Gaia as a red flash and plunged into the ground, rushing to control the temperature of the planet’s core and prevent it from bursting like a bomb. Besides, even if the planet didn’t explode, it could heat up and cook everyone on the surface from the friction alone.

Rilyeh walked out of her hut in the middle of nowhere, rubbing her eyes, "Finally, some space." She looked out with an uninterested face, "I was about to start complaining."

Seconds later, a flood of water exploded out of her hut and drowned vast swathes of land. Undyne flew in and jumped inside the hut, finding Rilyeh p.... "What are you doing?" She cried.

"I’m filling the planet with water, salty sea water. Nar would need it to cool the core. Arad is rapidly filling the plant with matter, which is rubbing against each other, heating up, and soon would burn the entire place if we don’t do anything." Rilyeh pointed out, "I called you because I need someone to go and direct the water outside, make sure to follow Gaia and Nar’s work, the water must cover the cracks between the world scales {Talking about the tectonic plates}.

"I know. But, I’m not your lackey. Don’t just go ordering me around."

Hearing Undyne growl at her, Rilyeh smiled, "You’re more like a little sister now. So be a good girl and go do your work."

Undyne sighed and flew away to get everything ready.

"Lady Gaia! Lady Gaia!" Astrid and her twin sister Frida rushed across the hills, landing right beside the Spirit Queen. "What is going on?"

"Arad is enlarging the small world by throwing more matter on it." She looked at them with a smile, "Massage my shoulders before Salamander shows up."

The two looked at each other for a long moment. Right now, Gaia was their teacher, showing them the secrets of earth magic. Knowing that they couldn’t help any other way, each of the two took a shoulder to massage. Sadly, a second later, Salamander showed up.

"Nar says she needs to vent." She said with a worried face, and Gaia smiled, "Good. You two, go with her and make some volcanoes. I marked the mountains you can use."

"No time to waste." Salamander grabbed the two by their hands and flew away with them.

Gaia kept working, "They should be here any time now."

A few seconds later, five angels flew down from the sky and landed in front of her. The five women bowed slightly and then looked around. "This place is falling toward Eris’s sun." One of them said with a worried face.

Gaia looked at them with a smile, "Then do something about it. Arad is making this world bigger, so you must drag it further away from the sun before it starts spinning out of control. If Eris is anything close to Amaterasu, you angels could do something and get that to work."

The angels looked at each other, "That’s why we came here to you. We were angels of war before; we know nothing about the sun domain."

Gaia sighed, "As expected." She then looked up and screamed, "HOI! Amaterasu, send someone to help your little new colleague, would you?"

The angels looked at each other, "Amaterasu won’t respond just like that. She is..."

But before they could finish speaking, a radiant angel was standing behind Gaia. She looked different from Eris’s angels, a bit taller, and much, much stronger.

"You’re finally here, took you long enough."

The angel looked at Gaia with a passive face, prompting her to speak again.

"This is Solar, if I remember correctly. It’s been over a million years. She is the angel responsible for the maintenance of the sun in the mortal world." She then turned toward Eris’s angels, "She’ll help you get this planet to a suitable distance from Eris’s sun."

Solar sighed, "As rude as ever, but it matters not. Let’s move." She flew away, and the five angels followed her.

"We got everything ready... what is missing?"
