Chapter 360 Toy War (7)

Chapter 1 After the Discussion

Following the conclusion of the First Corps' discussion, Feng Bujue and Xiao Tan departed alongside the two Transformers.

As the saying goes, a Transformer that can't transform isn't a good Transformer. As traditional toys rather than collector's items, Jazz and Nightwatch both possessed the ability to transform (into cars). Though their construction wasn't particularly sophisticated, preventing players from actually riding inside, they could certainly carry passengers on their roofs.

Therefore, Jazz proactively offered to let the two players ride on their roofs, saving time on the journey.

Naturally, Brother Jue and Xiao Tan didn't refuse. Reduced to toy size, a few dozen meters felt like kilometers to them. They were happy to conserve as much energy as possible.

Thus, after approximately ten minutes, the two players were "riding" the cars, quickly traversing several hundred meters to the location of the Lego House.

The so-called Lego House was simply a "display area" located in the very center of the Lego toy section. The shelves outside the display area were piled high with various unopened Lego sets, while the display area itself was a square room enclosed by glass walls on all four sides. Inside the room stood a city constructed from Lego bricks, complete with buildings, roads, vehicles, decorations, figures, and so on… all uniquely shaped and vibrantly colored. This type of physical display was indeed quite appealing; even adults, let alone children, felt the urge to buy something.

"Let's switch to walking from here," Jazz said through the car's speakers, gradually slowing down outside the Lego House.

Nightwatch, following behind, also came to a halt.

Feng Bujue didn't ask questions, merely exchanged a glance with Xiao Tan. The two of them leaped off the car roofs.

Two seconds later, Jazz and Nightwatch transformed back into robot form. Their humanoid forms weren't as towering as Optimus Prime, but still taller than the players. Jazz, having completed his transformation, continued, "We'll have to play it by ear. If Lego has really allied with novel, we might be ambushed as soon as we reach the entrance."

"That's not even the worst-case scenario," Nightwatch added. "If they directly state their position and attack, we'll have a relatively easy time retreating. The worst is…"

"The worst is if they remain silent, lure us into their lair, and then trap us like turtles in a jar," Xiao Tan interjected.

"If you put it that way, aren't we the turtles?" Feng Bujue said.

"Oh, then… close the door and beat the dog," Xiao Tan said.

"Although you're getting more accurate, I personally suggest you stop trying to use idioms," Feng Bujue said, shaking his head and covering his forehead with one hand.

Chi—

In that instant, a sword qi, tore through the air.

This strike, as fierce as a tiger, its energy piercing the rainbow.

For some unknown reason, Feng Bujue felt a sense of déjà vu about this move…

Jazz and Nightwatch reacted quickly, even managing to grab the two players and dodge together.

After the slash, Xiao Tan was still shaken and somewhat at a loss. Nightwatch, standing beside him, said in a deep voice, "Focus, newbie. It seems the enemy has sent some formidable characters…"

"Ittoryu. Yakko Dori…" After these few seconds, Feng Bujue finally remembered the name of the technique and where he had seen it before.

However, the current slash, in terms of power, speed, and momentum, was superior to the one that Crazy Blade had used back then.

"Hmph… dodged it, huh…" Zoro sheathed his Wado Ichimonji and emerged from the shadows a meter away. "As expected of Jazz and Nightwatch. Consider that a greeting."

"Whoa… a super scary guy has appeared!" Xiao Tan exclaimed.

"To think that a figure of similar size to us could casually unleash an 'one-time use' level attack…" Even Feng Bujue was a little unsettled. "And… why did he suddenly appear here? Could it be…"

"You're the one called Feng Bujue, right?" Zoro slowly walked toward Brother Jue, his right hand casually resting on the hilt of his sword, appearing relaxed but radiating killing intent with every step. "I heard you're a master."

"Heh… a master, huh…" Feng Bujue chuckled dryly. "I suppose this misunderstanding will be cleared up as soon as I turn around and run away…"

"Run away…" Zoro slightly shook his head. "A scar on the back is a swordsman's disgrace."

"I'm not a swordsman, I'm a gentleman," Feng Bujue retorted, narrowing his eyes.

At this moment, Nightwatch interrupted their conversation and said to Zoro, "Although you are indeed an idiot… seeing as you've seen Jazz and me here and still dared to show yourself, that means…" Nightwatch looked around. "There's more than just you, right?"

His prediction was accurate. As soon as he finished speaking, a crimson figure emerged from behind the shelves on the other side. "I don't want to kill people, but I'm under orders and have no choice but to come here to provide support." Kenshin, on the other hand, had no killing intent and wore a harmless expression. "Therefore… I implore you not to cross this line in front of me."

"Ah, I don't really want to use violence either, but a mission is a mission. I just need to take out those two otherworldly guys, right?" A third voice sounded, and Gourry, wielding the Sword of Light, appeared in the direction opposite Kenshin.

"Heh… heh heh… that goes without saying…" Feng Bujue's mouth twitched as he turned his head and looked in the fourth direction. "We're surrounded, right…"

Indeed, the fourth swordsman had also appeared.

"Actually, the only one I want to kill is Hijikata-san~" Sougo muttered listlessly.

Seeing this lineup, Xiao Tan moved a few steps closer to Feng Bujue and whispered, "What is this… the four famous swordsmen of ACG…?"

"Yeah… it's clearly disadvantageous for us in a four-on-four…" Feng Bujue replied.

"How about escaping through the air?" Xiao Tan quietly asked. "Your Moonwalk should be able to carry someone, right?"

"I can carry someone, but if we go through the air…" Feng Bujue rejected. "Even if our jumping ability allows us to evade Zoro's slashes and Sougo's bazooka, but…" His gaze turned to Gourry. "That Sword of Light is quite troublesome…" He paused for a moment. "To be honest, out of these four, the one I find the most threatening is Gourry…"

"From a pure destructive power perspective, Kenshin and Sougo's combat power is one against a hundred, killing people like flies, while Zoro is pretty much at the level of dismantling machines with his bare hands. But Gourry… a man who knows absolutely no magic and has an intelligence level close to a jellyfish has faced Great Sages, high-ranking demons, and even the Demon King on multiple occasions. That sword can produce shockwaves with a casual swing, and can even destroy spiritual bodies."

"If you put it that way, aren't we doomed…" Xiao Tan replied.

Feng Bujue pondered, "Well… there's no need to admit defeat before even fighting. After all, the other party is just an avatar of figures, and they might not be as strong as in the original work. Besides… the purpose of internal training matches is for you to fight against humanoid opponents more often, and the current situation is a good opportunity."

"That's true…" Xiao Tan said, with a serious expression, and took out the [Energy Storage Tri-Edge Bayonet] from his inventory (before starting the script, Feng Bujue had given him the newly acquired bayonet). "Let's give it a try then."
