Chapter 887: Chapter 891: Qi De Academy (Part 9)
"What the hell is this?" Er Shun asked, puzzled.
Old Li was evidently more experienced and cautious than Er Shun, especially given the special nature of their school. It was a chaotic time, and he immediately tensed up, his hand reaching for the electric baton, shouting sharply at the people outside, "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
Captain Wang had just sent out notices to all parents yesterday, saying that the school was not convenient for visits during this period.
So, no student’s parents would suddenly appear at the school in the early morning.
Influenced by Old Li’s mood, Er Shun also became nervous, picked up a tool in hand, opened the door fiercely, and prepared to bring the person in for interrogation.
Today was destined to be an unlucky day for them.
Er Shun never imagined that it was just a routine inquiry, directed at a woman who appeared soft and weak.
With just one glance, he couldn’t understand what had happened, and a sharp pain in his foot made him lose consciousness.
When he woke up again, one of his legs was completely ruined.
So, he should enjoy that best and blissful time of ignorance during his coma.
-----------------
Several silver needles flashed sharp silver light between Su Li’s fingers.
She looked at the people lying on the ground with an expressionless face, then lifted her foot and wiped the mud off her shoe sole on these two security guards, and stepped over them, slowly walking towards the school.
Behind her, a thunderous sound echoed, and then came a torrential downpour.
Zhengmiao School was laid out similarly to a regular high school, with a road lined with greenery on both sides upon entering. There was an 800-meter track on the left with an asphalt path, and on the right, a basketball court, a volleyball court, and in the corner, table tennis tables and other sports facilities.
Moving forward, there was a circular flower bed, splitting into two paths: one leading to the academic area, and the other to the dormitory area.
On the surface, the school’s environment looked decent, deemed beautiful, and the basic facilities on campus well-satisfied the needs for students’ moral, intellectual, physical, and aesthetic development.
In reality, Su Li knew this was all a facade.
The track wasn’t for student exercises but used to punish disobedient students.
Basketball and volleyball courts were arenas for public "executions".
As she walked here, dreadful scenes from the original owner’s memory were stimulated to resurface.
Some classmates were electrocuted with a baton on the basketball court, causing them to soil themselves on the spot. Others were whipped with leather on the volleyball court by instructors until their skin was torn, constantly begging for mercy.
The instructors said that students who could enter here were inherently bad children, and ordinary educational methods wouldn’t work, only violence could make them understand how to be ’good’ children.
So, they indulged their desires on the students.
Everyone in this motivational school was guilty.
Su Li pulled out a small booklet from her pocket, recording the names of all faculty and staff at Zhengmiao School.
With a small umbrella propped, Su Li walked along, her appearance rather noticeable.
Especially as she was alone, without any faculty accompanying her, which was strictly prohibited at the school.
Thus, she quickly drew the attention of those in the monitoring room.
The people from the monitoring room contacted Old Li immediately, only to hear a voice coming from the walkie-talkie in the pocket of Old Li’s shirt lying on the ground, "Old Li, what’s going on? The captain said recently not to let parents in, how come you allowed someone to walk in alone... Old Li? Old Li?"
"It’s not good, someone has intruded into the school... quickly notify Captain Wang..."
The security capabilities here were quite remarkable, at least their response speed was swift.
It had been merely three minutes since she entered the school boundary, and a group of people dressed in security uniforms, equipped with electric batons, appeared within her sight.
The leader shouted, "Who are you? It’s not parent visiting time. Please leave."
Su Li stood still, the increasingly heavy rain dampening her skirt, making her frown unhappily.
Once this group of security guards surrounded her, Su Li remarked meaningfully, "You are indeed dedicated to your job."
In such heavy rain, without even an umbrella, isn’t that dedication?
"Leave, don’t make us repeat ourselves."
"To see the child, please contact the instructors in advance."
There’s more than meets the eye here, how could they be so tense and fearful without any underlying tricks?
Su Li took two steps forward, tilted her head, and asked, "What would you do if I refuse to leave today?"
-------------------
Captain Wang was still lost in slumber when he received the call.
If not for the annoying ringing, making the person beside him hit him hard with a pillow several times, he wouldn’t have bothered to get up.
"Get your phone and get off my bed." A sweet voice made Captain Wang unable to get angry.
"Jiaojiao, don’t be mad, don’t be mad... you continue to sleep...."
On tiptoe, with his phone covered, lightly shutting the door, Captain Wang changed his tone from soft words to harsh, cursing the caller viciously once he answered.
All sorts of vulgar words, unleashed one after another, for a whole quarter of an hour.
Originally rugged, he climbed to where he was today with the ferocity he had.
Usually able to act proper, but in his rage, his true colors revealed.
Once he finished venting, he asked, still in a bad mood, "What’s the matter now?"
"If someone doesn’t obey, just drag them to the Confession Room, haven’t you done this often? Do I need to teach you?"
"No, it’s not that..." The person on the other end had a trembling tone, obviously terrified, speaking softly as if hiding somewhere, secretly calling him.
Before Captain Wang could voice his doubts, a chaotic noise erupted through the phone, "They, they’re here...."
Captain Wang felt a sinking feeling, his expression turning serious, "What’s going on, tell me quickly."
"A woman broke in today and released all the students.... Those students are crazy now, it’s terrifying...."
"What’s happening...."
"Beep, beep, beep...." Captain Wang was left hearing intense door banging and sharp, youthful voices.
"Damn...." He quickly contacted the big boss.
Meanwhile, inside Qi De Academy, a celebration was underway.
The roles of the scenes swapped from the past.
Standing atop the teaching building, all of the playground was visible.
Unlike the silence when Su Li first entered the campus, the entire school seemed alive now, with even the fierce rain unable to suppress the emotions that had been suppressed for so long.
On the playground, everyone was exposed to the torrential rain, looking like soaked chickens, yet even so, unable to restrain their excitement and mania.
They formed a circle, holding whips, electric batons, and steel clubs, inside the circle were the instructors incapacitated....
These evil people, who cast a lifelong psychological shadow over them and were like an insurmountable mountain, now showed pleading eyes towards them.
