Chapter 1520: Chapter 1525 – Spending a Fortune on a Woman1

Before returning home, Gu Qingxin took Bai Qianqian to the mall planning to buy a purse for their mother.

Gu Qingxin selected a modestly priced store. Once inside, they chose a black leather handbag with an embroidered design, which was quite suitable for their mother’s age group.

“Miss, you have wonderful taste. This design is our designer’s top pick for this year,” remarked the store clerk.

“What do you think?” Gu Qingxin asked Bai Qianqian.

“It’s beautiful,” Bai Qianqian concurred.

“Then it’s decided. Please wrap it up for me. I will pay by card,” Gu Qingxin said, following the clerk to the cashier counter.

Just as they were about to pay, a harsh female voice came from behind them, “Where is the purse I was looking at? Didn’t I say I wanted to buy it! How could you sell it?”

“We’re sorry, Miss, but our customer decided to purchase it. Our store policy is first come, first serve. Although you looked at it earlier, you didn’t actually purchase it,” the clerk explained.

Tang Qin turned around and saw Gu Qingxin and Bai Qianqian ready to make their payment. She swiftly walked over, snatched the card from the clerk, and tossed it over to Gu Qingxin, “Gu Qingxin… Are you buying this purse? Aren’t you a kept woman now, don’t you have a lot of money? So why are you only buying a three thousand yuan purse!”

Gu Qingxin looked at the card that had fallen to the ground, her expression instantly turning cold. She slowly bent down to retrieve her card, sparing the other woman a dismissive glance, “So what?”

“Huh, I had my eye on this purse first! I was going to gift my mother with it! You should be able to afford a decent handbag for your mother despite being kept by someone, right?” boasted Tang Qin, lifting her pretty face.

She kept insisting that Gu Qingxin was a kept woman, causing the staff’s looks at Gu Qingxin to subtly change.

“Tang Qin, watch your mouth. You’re already on thin ice after causing Qingxin’s recent near miscarriage,” Bai Qianqian said, clearly annoyed with this woman.

“Almost? Didn’t she not miscarry? Even if she gives birth, it would still be an illegitimate child,” Tang Qin’s remarks grew increasingly harsh.

Gu Qingxin’s hand faltered momentarily. Suddenly, she sharply lifted her head and glared at Tang Qin. Tang Qin flinched in surprise. This was her first time witnessing this assertive side of Gu Qingxin, a side that was somewhat intimidating.

“Miss Tang, stop using your wild imaginations to slander people. I swear if you say another word, I’ll have someone tear your mouth apart,” Gu Qingxin advanced, projecting an even more formidable presence.

“Miss, do you need any assistance?” a bodyguard approached that moment.

“There’s this pesky pest around, it’s not only an annoyance but also seriously disgusting. Could you please remove it? It’s affecting my shopping mood and the staff’s work,” Gu Qingxin spoke to the bodyguard with a courteous smile.

“You’re calling who a…?” Tang Qin attempted to retort, but her words were abruptly interrupted as the security guard seized her and commenced to escort her out.

“Would you mind? Here’s the card,” Gu Qingxin passed her card to the clerk with a smile, Unperturbed by Tang Qin’s slurs except for the insults aimed at her Baobao, which she was unwilling to tolerate.

“Alright,”

The clerk quickly collected herself. Yes, Tang Qin was indeed very annoying. Earlier she had looked at the purse but didn’t even mention buying it, and when she returned to find it sold, she started a fuss right here in the store.

They had a rule against talking back to the customers, so such rude individuals weren’t worth taking seriously.

After purchasing the purse, Gu Qingxin and Bai Qianqian prepared to head home; it was already about time.

“In the future, if we run into such annoying people again, we should deal with them like this.”
