Outside the "Humble Abode" courtyard.
Clouds surged and thunder roared from all directions.
Five terrifying figures descended rapidly from the direction of the Tongtian Mountain Range.
The five Heavenly Immortals from the Tongtian Pavilion arrived together, intending to raze Ji Mo's stronghold to the ground.
Originally, they were supposed to act immediately after receiving news from the Tun Tian Python, but they happened to discover the trace of the Chaos Green Lotus within the Tongtian Mountain Range.
These individuals were overjoyed and spent countless efforts trying to capture the Chaos Green Lotus. In the end, they were toyed with by Qing Lian and wasted several days doing so.
Ultimately, they failed to capture Qing Lian and could only vent their fury on Ji Mo.
These five Heavenly Immortals floated in the sky, looking down indifferently at the courtyard below.
Under the concealment of the Innate Eight Trigrams Formation, the Humble Abode courtyard appeared unremarkable, like a very ordinary farmhouse.
One Heavenly Immortal spoke in a sinister tone, "Did the Tun Tian Python spread false information? Is that Ji fellow's lair a farmhouse?"
Another chimed in, laughing, "If the Tun Tian Python dares to deceive us, I don't mind having some fun with the snake and letting her know what it means to wish for life but be unable to die."
"It's a bit strange. The layout of this manor conforms to the principles of the Five Elements and Eight Trigrams. It seems to be protected by a decent formation."
One of them concluded after observing repeatedly.
However, this did not instill any fear in them. How advanced could a formation set up by mortals in the lower realm be? They could break it with a casual flick of their wrist.
Furthermore, with the five of them working together, they could crush anything and had no need to fear anything.
"I sense the Tun Tian Python's aura. Let's go down and take a look."
These five Heavenly Immortals, fearless of anything, descended into the courtyard.
"Wow..."
Five exclamations rang out almost simultaneously.
Even though these Heavenly Immortals had seen much, they were still stunned by what lay before them.
Spiritual mist permeated the air, spiritual plants grew everywhere, and a pond was filled with small Flood Dragons, on the verge of evolving into true Dragon whelps.
"Hmm, this iron cauldron is extraordinary, emitting a sacred aura. This is actually a divine artifact embryo!"
"Is that the Bodhi Tree from the legends? Wasn't it reduced to ashes by that powerful figure from the Lesser Thunderclap Monastery? How is it still alive?"
"Not only is it alive, but it seems to have mutated, with divine and evil energies intertwined. It's simply unbelievable!"
"Heavens, the Nine Tribulations Longevity Willow! This is an Innate Spiritual Root, how can it be here!"
"We've struck it rich, we've become incredibly wealthy..."
These five Heavenly Immortals, like country bumpkins fresh to the city, uttered exclamations of awe, their faces filled with shock.
Their mouths were practically splitting at the ears. With these treasures, the unattainable realm of divinity seemed to be within reach.
Then, the five of them fell into a dilemma.
Should these heaven-defying treasures be pocketed or handed over to the sect?
Or should they eliminate everyone else and keep them for themselves.
Everything in the courtyard was enough to drive even gods to madness, to the point of launching divine wars to seize it.
How could they not desire to possess it all?
"Everyone, please calm down. Do not fall into internal strife. These items are enough to forge our path to godhood. Do not kill each other."
One Heavenly Immortal spoke first, preventing a conflict and simultaneously declaring his intention to keep the treasures for himself rather than handing them over to the sect.
"Agreed!"
The other four voiced their agreement, endorsing this course of action.
After all, if they started fighting amongst themselves, it would inevitably attract other Heavenly Immortals who had descended. They might end up with nothing.
It would be better to move this courtyard to a hidden location first, and then consider other matters.
Although these Heavenly Immortals appeared harmonious, each harbored their own selfish intentions.
"You are all about to die, yet you are still thinking of coveting these things. How laughable."
The Tun Tian Python, confined to the vegetable patch, could not bear to watch and couldn't help but retort.
Truly, do they not have any brains? With so many heaven-defying treasures here, how could mere Heavenly Immortals possibly claim them?
"Tun Tian Python, what did you say?"
Five pairs of cold eyes immediately fell upon the Tun Tian Python, radiating killing intent.
They finally remembered that there was a sixth party present. To prevent the matter from being exposed, it seemed they had to kill the snake to silence her.
"Kill me now if you dare."
The Tun Tian Python had also decided to go all out. If she died now, it would be the end of it. She certainly did not want to be brewed into snake wine or made into snake soup later.
"Don't think you can be arrogant just because you sent us the message. If you know what's good for you, stay by my side and serve me well, please me. If you behave, I might spare your life, and perhaps even help you ascend in the future."
The one who had previously spoken of playing with the snake stared at the Tun Tian Python with burning eyes, making no attempt to conceal his inner depravity.
He had seen the Tun Tian Python in her human form, her alluring and voluptuous body, and had long desired to have some fun with her.
The Tun Tian Python burst into laughter and confessed, "Haha, did you never consider that I sent you here to your deaths?"
The faces of the five Heavenly Immortals changed drastically, and they warily scanned their surroundings.
A plump rooster, with its belly protruding, waddled out of the coop with a swagger.
It critiqued the five Heavenly Immortals, "Two are human, inedible. Three are demon immortals, perfect for slaughtering and making into jerky for the master to eat when he returns."
"A mere Peng demon at the Mortal Immortal realm, daring to speak so boastfully! You court death!"
An elder with a gloomy gaze and a fiery temper moved with incredible speed, instantly appearing before the Heavenly Peng and reaching out to grab its neck.
He intended to strangle the Heavenly Peng on the spot.
The Heavenly Peng remained incredibly calm, not even blinking an eye.
Sister Tian Can was watching from the willow branches, and it absolutely could not falter, nor lose its master's face.
In a flash of lightning.
A vibrant green willow branch unfurled, instantly slicing through the void and piercing the elder's palm.
With a gentle shake, the elder's entire arm turned into a mist of blood.
"Ah..."
The elder let out a piercing scream, immediately taking out a life-saving immortal talisman. However, before he could activate it, his forehead was pierced by the willow branch.
In an instant, he lost all signs of life, his soul completely annihilated.
Then, his corpse was torn into pieces and dissipated into the air.
"Kill!"
A human-shaped Heavenly Immortal roared, and a radiant trident appeared in his palm.
This was a celestial artifact, its immortal light flowing, emitting myriad killing rays, and it struck towards the willow branch.
Clang!
The sound of metal striking metal echoed, sparks flying.
The willow branch withstood the trident's attack, not even a single leaf falling.
"Why are you all still standing there dumbfounded? Attack together..."
This human-shaped Heavenly Immortal roared, continuing to urge the trident to slash at the willow branch, but his words were cut short.
Another willow branch attacked, piercing through his body.
Clang...
The trident fell to the ground, and this Heavenly Immortal turned into a mass of bloody mist, dying completely.
For the human-like Heavenly Immortals who were inedible, the willow tree annihilated them without a trace.
The remaining three demon immortals, trembling with fear, cried out, "Esteemed Nine Tribulations Longevity Willow, we hail from the Tongtian Sect of the Immortal Spirit Realm. If this matter is dropped here, killing us all will surely draw the attention of our sect's powerful beings descending to the mortal realm. You will gain no advantage."
"What of the Tongtian Sect?"
A clear and cold voice rang out, "Dare to offend my master, and I will one day tread upon Tongtian Immortal Mountain and annihilate your Tongtian Sect."
"Your Excellency, aren't you speaking a bit too boldly? Do you know the origins of our Tongtian Sect? We have countless powerful beings, several Immortal Emperors, and behind us, there are even gods providing support."
"Then do you know my origins! When I grow up, all the gods and Buddhas in the heavens will only be fit to be my sustenance."
The willow branches at the top of the tree shone with brilliant light, nine-colored auspicious clouds flashing incessantly. The figure of the Nine Transformations Heavenly Silkworm slowly revealed itself.
"Ah, you... you are... the Nine... Transformations Heavenly Silkworm!"
The three demon immortals were utterly terrified, their legs giving way and collapsing to the ground on the spot.
A willow branch, swift as lightning and indestructible, pinned them to the ground.
